Chapter 35: Decisions (Mgg, rom, no sex)

Over the next week, things began to take on an organized
routine. Monaavi was working with Mom to set up a daily
schedule, and with Mom's teaching background, they even
structured a curriculum for each girl.

Pita was overjoyed that Attiya now had an accepting friend,
she was getting help and Pita was even able to save more
money because she didn't have to pay for daycare any
longer.

Both Aleeya and Attiya became close quickly, and even with
Attiya's lack of verbal skills, they managed to communicate
somehow. They started each day with breakfast, and often
acted like sisters at the table.

Priya had even set up a schedule for our evening intimate
activities, and although Aleeya balked a little, she
accepted her sister's schedule. Priya decided that she
would be with me on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, while
Aleeya would have me on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Friday nights, the three of us would spend together.

That Friday, Priya received her appointment from the
American embassy for her visa on the following Tuesday at
ten a.m. Dad was pleased, as were the rest of us. He was
preparing to leave again, and Mom was noticeably sullen.

I called Mom at home to talk to her, and she started to
cry. I tried to console her and asked her, "If you want to
leave with Dad, why don't you? It seems to me that you and
Monaavi have pretty much nailed down a routine for the
girls, what's left to do?"

She responded, "Oh Sean, I really want to leave with your
Dad, but Monaavi is new at this, and with the addition of
Attiya, I feel it necessary to stay for another week or two
to help with Attiya's assessment."

I asked, "What's your initial gut feeling, does she need
more specialized help?"

Mom replied, "I don't think so. She's already starting to
speak a little, although sometimes, with her poor
pronunciation, it's hard to understand her. I think her
biggest problem was acceptance. Now that she has Aleeya,
and she feels accepted, she's gained more confidence and is
beginning to speak. She's a very bright girl and she
shouldn't have a problem with the curriculum."

"Well," I said, "Its up to you, as to what you want to do.
I just hate seeing you so sad."

"Thanks for your concern, Son, but I'll be fine. I know
it'll only be for a week or two. I just need to pull myself
out of this funk and concentrate on getting things wrapped
up so I can leave.

Strange as it seems, I'll miss India a lot more than I
thought. I'll miss you, Priya and Aleeya a lot. It's been
wonderful to have a family again, breakfasts together and
meeting life together as a family.

I still look at Priya in wonder; she's such a fine, mature
girl and a very dear friend. Sometimes, I just shake my
head in disbelief that she's still only twelve!

I also have another reason to get back that's been on my
mind. I talked to Liz the other day, remember her, your
cousin with her daughter Emma?"

"Yeah, I remember."

"Well, it seems she's not responding as well as they'd
hoped to her chemo, and she's been struggling with her
breast cancer."

I'm really sorry to hear that Mom. Very sorry."

"I know, it's sad. She lost her husband and now she's
trying to raise Emma on her own while struggling with this
issue. I can't believe the strength she's shown, being sick
from her treatments and trying to be strong for Emma at the
same time. What galls me the most is that none of the other
family seems to want to help with Emma. It's like they live
in their own little worlds, working towards the trappings
of success and are just down right immune and callous to
the plight of others outside their own lives.

Your father called a few of the relatives to see if someone
might be willing to take Emma if the worst happens, and you
know what they said?"

"No Mom, not from what you're telling me. I can't imagine."

"They basically said that if John would buy them a bigger
'estate' home like ours and set up a trust fund to support
Emma so that it wouldn't put a 'strain' on their finances,
they'd consider it! Can you imagine the unmitigated gall of
such a statement?"

"What did Dad say to that?"

"He told them to fuck off! If they couldn't love and care
for her out of love, poor Emma certainly wouldn't be
properly loved and cared about for money's sake.

If Liz dies, I don't know WHAT will happen to poor Emma.
She'd basically be an orphan without either of her parents.
I could probably take her for a while, like I have with
Aleeya, but I'm getting older now, and your father needs me
more and more. I'm afraid that he's gonna work himself into
the ground.

Besides, we've worked our asses off getting this company to
where it is. Now that we've got enough money to travel, do
things together and I'd like for your father to slowly wean
himself out of the company and retire, but I don't see that
happening for several years. Hopefully by then, he can turn
the company over to you and Priya.

I asked Priya not to say anything to you about it because
you've got enough on your plate right now, but with Priya's
business sense, poise and intelligence, I can see both of
you running this company without any trouble someday."

"Well," I replied, "We can get into that later. Right now,
I'm worried about you and Dad. You two need to be together.
You've both paid more than your dues to me, and should
start thinking of yourselves for once in your life.

Tell Monaavi that she's got to work late tonight, I'll tell
her father."

"Why?

"Because we're, or more precisely, I'M gonna make some
decisions tonight, that's why. I don't want any static from
you about it either, understand?"

"Sean, this isn't necessary. It'll only be for a week, two
tops."

"Don't argue with me Mom, just do as I ask. I'll tell Dad
we're having a family meeting tonight to prepare him."

"All right, I'll do as you ask. I love you Sean."

"And I will always love you Mom! I told you that I'd always
be there for you, and this is one of those times. I've
gotta go, so I'll see you tonight, OK?"

OK Son, I'll tell Monaavi and see you this evening. Bye
now, love you."

"Love you too Mom. Bye." Click.

I got up and marched down to Dad's office, but he was on a
conference call to the states, so I headed to Ravi's
office. I told him I needed to have a family meeting at
home tonight about the girls, and that I needed Monaavi to
be there. I also told him that we'd talk over dinner, so
she'd eat with us and he thanked me for the heads up and
said that they wouldn't hold dinner for her.

After talking with Ravi, I spoke to Dad's secretary and
told her to book Mom a ticket with Dad on his flight back
to the states, and to call me when it was confirmed. She
called me fifteen minutes later saying it was taken care
of.

I piddled around in the office for another hour, then went
back to Dad's office. I entered and sat down in the chair
in front of his desk and began, "I just got off the phone
with Mom a little while ago, and I think you and she need
to be together. I think she should leave with you on
Monday. Don't worry I've already booked her ticket. We're
having a family meeting tonight about it, so try be home
and ready for dinner at six sharp."

I didn't even wait for an answer as I stood to leave him
with a look of astonishment on his face. I finished up the
financial reports I was working on and left to pick up the
girls from school at three.

After dropping Sarah and Haseeba off, I gave Priya the
condensed version of my conversation with Mom, and that I'd
decided that Mom should return to the states with Dad. She
looked sad, but agreed with me.

Priya and I arrived home about four-thirty, and sat talking
in the dining room, drinking some tea. Mom and Monaavi were
still conducting 'classes' with the girls, and they
finished about fifteen minutes later.

I had Attiya go to the kitchen with her mother, and I told
Monaavi she could freshen up in the bathroom and was
welcome to join us for evening prayers. Priya, Aleeya and I
went upstairs, freshened up and waited for Monaavi.

With all of us ready for dinner, the four of us said
evening prayers and went downstairs. Dad showed up about
quarter of six, and came back downstairs at six sharp.

We sat down to dinner, and after the food was served, I
took control of the family meeting.

I started out by saying, "This feels a little strange to
me, because I'm about to tell my parents what to do, but I
feel it's time for me to step in."

I looked at Monaavi and asked her, "How do you feel about
your job so far? Do you feel comfortable in taking over by
yourself with the girls? And lastly, can you give me an
honest assessment of Attiya?"

She looked around, I guess because she didn't think she'd
be called upon so abruptly, swallowed her bite of food and
said, "I feel very comfortable with the girls, and with
your mother's help, and we've been able to accomplish a lot
in one week.

As far as for taking things over myself, I feel that I can
do my job and perform the duties you've hired me for.
Regarding Attiya, your mother and I talked today, and we
both feel her autism isn't severe and that she's responding
well for only working with her for a week.

I believe that I, along with the bond she and Aleeya have
formed, can help her progress enough to hopefully start in
a normal school at the beginning of the next school year,
or, if you wish, I can continue to teach them both."

I turned to Mom and asked, "Is this your opinion also?"

"Yes Sean, we feel she'll do just fine."

I looked at Dad and then back at Mom and said, "It's
settled then. Mom, your ticket is booked, and you'll be
flying back to the states with Dad on Monday."

Dad looked at Mom, a little shocked, smiled and said to
Mom, "I guess he told us, didn't he?"

Aleeya, feeling a little overwhelmed, started to cry and
said she didn't want my mother to leave. Priya excused
herself from the table and took her to the living room to
explain the situation.

They returned about ten minutes later, and Aleeya wiped her
eyes, hugged mom and said, "I'll miss you lots." She again
began sniffling.

Mom started to cry and hugging her said, "And I'm gonna
miss you too Sweetheart, I'm gonna miss you lots too!"

Watching the exchange, everyone became teary-eyed. I tried
to comfort Aleeya by saying that Mom needed to be with her
husband to be happy, just like she needed to be with me,
and she seemed to understand that.

We finished dinner on a somber note, but I felt a sense of
pride in knowing that I'd done the right thing. Priya's
eyes welled up, but she didn't let loose. Under the table
she squeezed my hand, nodding agreement with my decision.
Monaavi felt awkward because she was a party to a family's
private discussion.

I noticed this and said to her, Monaavi, "Please, don't
feel out of place. You're a part of this family now, and
you have the important job of caring for two children and
continuing the work you and Mom have started."

On her face, one could see she felt a sense of pride, both
in her inclusion into our family and that we had a true
confidence in her abilities.

After dinner, our driver took Monaavi home and we quietly
watched a little TV before going to bed.

Because of the evening's events, the three of us slept
together. As I held my two child brides, I recalled the
night I took Aleeya's anal virginity. How exhilarating it
felt to be inside her tiny body like that. Just thinking
about it got me hard.

Remembering what Priya had told me the night she disclosed
knowing about my 'demon,' it seemed to me at the time, that
her explanation was right, because I'd had no further
'battles' with it.

I knew that I might have been deceived to believe I was
more loathsome than was the truth, but I now knew that I
did indeed have a fetish for making love to very young
girls.

All those feelings of pleasure returned in my mind; my
wedding night with Priya, and also Aleeya's wedding night.
The unique thrill and eroticism of being intimate with
them, their different body shapes, smells and tastes. Being
the first to taste the fruits of their charms and to lead
them both into the adult world of sexual pleasure and
ecstasy. Priya's raw passion was that of a fully mature
woman, sometimes surpassing my own lust. Aleeya's innocence
and the promise of delights yet to taste.

I recalled what it felt like with each and every first
penetration I'd made into the bodies of both girls, and
their responses to my being inside them.

Priya was like quicksand, always trying to pull me deeper
inside her, the power of her passion, the pure hot fire of
her insides. She is always able to sate that raw powerful
lust that can sometimes seem ever consuming.

Aleeya was like the tender side of me, that part of me that
was soft, gentle and sweet. Priya was right: it's not in
Aleeya's nature to rage like a furnace inside with raw
passion, but her tenderness and playfulness brought a
passion all its own.

After pondering these thoughts, I did finally admit to
myself that I was a lover of children. I thought for a
moment about those words: child lover. I knew that I would
never ever wish to hurt a child, but that part of
ourselves, that animal part, can sometimes overtake us.

I had, on one occasion with each of my wives, used them to
sate my desire. But deep down, I maybe rationalized to
myself that all husbands are that way with their wife at
one time or another, and that it was all right.

I did understand myself better and knew that despite my
animal lusts, the driving force in my relationships with
them would be love and not simply lust. Somehow, that
knowledge made me feel better as I drifted off to sleep
holding my child brides.
