He meets a young woman in the crowd whose ethnicity is different from his but whose love for the blues rivals his own. They become friendly, and when the rain begins to fall, they find it necessary to cuddle up under a blanket. It turns out that people can do some wonderful things under the influence of good music in a pouring rain. The curtain call takes place at her apartment. This is an exceptionally good story.
