Chapter 1 the resort

Chapter 7 Back at the resort
People starting to arrive:

So we went on to the faster heat, with Christie in it. She went on to win it and broke her school record in 2:15:00, the best part Joan's time gave her 5th place. Then the boys' race, they got lucky and both seeded in the faster heat, Tommy wining it and Dennis in 6th place. Not that many record were broken, because of so many heats being swam. Going into the relay the scores were in the girls; Wilson with 116 and Guadalupe with 111, and boys Wilson and Santa Marie were tied at 110.
So in the Girls' 200 freestyle relay, Guadalupe won it with Wilson getting 3rd. Then came the boys relay up, Mr. Carr seen how close the score was, so Chad and Dennis trade places, so Santa Marie won it, with Wilson coming in 2nd with their best time of the year. Then came the 200 IM relay; first for the girls, which was no race at all, after the first leg the race was over. Mr. Carr pulled the boys' team off to the side, "We are a little slower with Dennis on the anchor, but as bad as you have been beating everyone you should still win it and at least tie for conference championship."
They went out and gave Dennis a lead so big that no team had chance to comeback, Santa Marie got 4th place. The finals scores were for the Girls: Wilson with 132 and Guadalupe with 124; on the boys' side was Wilson with 128 to Santa Marie with 125 with other team scores following them on both sides.
The Santa Marie coach came up to Andy, "I did not think you had a chance to win, the Medley relay without your anchor, those first 3 legs are unreal."
