My Dream Love

This love that is but a fantasy,
can still rest in my heart freely.

A feeling so strong,
a passion so deep,
with out his words
it's hard to sleep.

I crave him
like a withered rose craves water,
I need him
as if I were his daughter.

He can't see
what I see in his beautiful heart,
or the fact that his words
are a work of art.
But one day I'll make him see,
just what he means to me.

For now I can only dream of his touch,
even tho I crave it so much,
I shut my eyes and fall asleep,
for in my dreams his love I keep.

A feeling of irrationality
makes me want to block reality,
for 2 years it will take to be.

Heart ache he's suffered,
tears he's cried,
I will never leave his side.

I know I must deal
with the cards I'm dealt,
but this man makes my heart melt.

I try to hold my feelings back,
with fear of rejection,
but all that spills from my heart
is love and affection.

I can only hope he feels the same way,
and know I dream of him every day.

I'm helpless in the arms of love,
a slave to my emotion,
deep inside my heart
he causes a pleasurable commotion.

I wish that I could hold him tight,
and kiss him softly every night.

For now I can only in my dreams,
I'm falling hard and fast it seems

Please don't let this feeling end
his beautiful heart will be mine to mend.

I will have you for one night
and in your arms I'll lay,
