Where's My “Catalyst”?
As you may have noted, I’ve yanked the entire 3 books of my “The Catalyst” series. I hope I didn’t pull it mid-story for any of you, but....
I’ve been wanting to revise the story for a long time, as my technical skill in writing ability has improved quite a bit since I first started . However, what clinched the deal was the fact that while “Building a Legacy,” the story’s conclusion is progressing nicely after multiple delays, it’s still a long ways from being finished, and once it is, it’ll take even longer to revise, clean up and finish.
So as a holding action, I’ve decided to start revising “An Awkward Beginning” (which has now been renamed). The idea is to finish revising that, which will take less time than finishing AND revising “Building a Legacy”. But by doing this, I’ll be able to continue posting revised stories, while I clean up the stories conclusion, and then I can concentrate on the next sequel of “Great Death”.
Now, only someone seriously deranged would plan to avoid being overworked by taking on MORE work, but I’ve always liked a challenge, and I’ve handled working on multiple stories before, so I think I can handle posting one, writing another, and revising a third. It’ll be a lot more work, but I think each of the stories will be better for the extra effort.
Update:
The new story will consist of the following books (now six, instead of the previous four):
- An Unknown Attraction (renamed)
- Trying To Be Normal
- Normalcy Is Harder Than It Looks
- Racing the Clock
- Touring Under Pressure
- Building a Legac
Of course, pulling the already posted works frustrated those still reading it, but I didn't want anyone rereading the series to read the old version instead of the new version being released soon. I'll be offering the books soon, and for those who don't want to wait for them to post all over again, I'll be offering them as completed eBooks, each one posting a few months apart (depending upon how long it takes to revise each one).
So sorry to anyone currently reading the story, and to anyone waiting for the conclusion, it’s coming.
