The machine Doctor Nechetohontoquatl had been working on for the past several weeks was finally complete. For the life of her, Keri had no idea what the damn thing was. All she knew is that it consisted of a large chamber with a large door, and that there were all sorts of large cables coming from the top of the chamber that ran to a computer console. What its purpose was, she had no idea.

"Now that my latest invention is complete, we can try it out. I'll go get our test subject!" the doctor said.

The next thing Keri heard was what sounded like a forklift in operation. Her guess was correct. The doctor came back driving a hi-lo. Sitting on the pallet that the hi-lo was carrying, was the largest woman Keri had ever seen in her life. This woman was so obese that she could not walk under her own power.

The doctor drove the forklift into the chamber. He lowered the pallet that the woman was on, and backed out. The woman attempted to get up, but couldn't.

"What on earth are you going to do to her?" Keri asked.

"This machine will transform that whale into a beautiful woman by rearranging her genetic makeup and rebuilding her cellular structure!" the doctor said.

Keri was in shock. It was surprising enough that the doctor knew how to drive a hi-lo. How he had managed to get that woman onto the pallet to begin with was a mystery, and if this machine actually worked, the potential would be unlimited! Cosmetic surgery would all but disappear. Cures to countless diseases could be had! It could maybe even speed up the evolution of the human race...

The doctor sat down at the computer console and tapped a few buttons. A loud jet engine noise came from the chamber. The doctor pulled a lever next to the console. Sounds of electricity arcing could be heard now. The doctor then banged the side of the console with his fist. Steam came out of the top of the chamber. There was a loud hissing noise, then all the whirring and sparking died down and ceased.

The doctor opened the chamber door. The inside of the chamber was filled with steam. Standing on the pallet, hidden by the steam, was the silhouette of a beautiful woman. The woman seemed a bit unsteady on her feet for a moment or two. She gained her balance and started walking towards the chamber door.

What had once been a morbidly obese woman had been transformed into a lean, somewhat muscular babe. Her stomach was flat. Her figure had that nice hourglass shape to it. Her breasts were perfectly sized for her body and well shaped. However something was odd. Her entire body was covered in fur. She looked like a humanoid cat, complete with cat like ears on the top of her head, and a long tail coming out of her lower back.

The woman looked at herself, then reached up and touched one of her new ears. She then touched the area where her ear was supposed to be only to discover that her human ears were gone. She turned and looked at the doctor, who likewise was eyeing her.

"What did you do to me?" she asked.

"Hm... Well that didn't turn out as planned. Keri, get rid of her."

"H-hey! Wait!" the woman said as Keri escorted her out of the lab.

Keri escorted the catlike woman outside and went back to the doctor. "What went wrong?" she asked him.

"Eh, I probably used the wrong type of voltage regulator in the main transformation unit. I'll fix it later... maybe next week..." he said.

It had been one hell of a day for Jessica. When she woke up that morning, she found that she was on some sort of platform that was being carried somewhere. That in itself had been a feat as it usually required a crane to lift her out of her bed. She then found herself in this weird lab run by that doctor with an impossible to pronounce name. He had placed her in whatever that thing was, and now...

She ran her hands all over her body. It felt slim and had some muscle tone, like she had been working out. She kept feeling her stomach over and over. She had never been this skinny in her entire life! She had been born fat, and as she grew older she had just gotten fatter and fatter until one day her legs gave out and she was confined to a bed. That wasn't the case anymore.

She hadn't seen herself in a mirror yet, but she could tell she was at least more presentable, if not strikingly beautiful. Discovering her new ears and tail surprised the hell out of her, and the fur all over her body was a bit unsettling. She decided that the good outweighed the bad and started walking. Where she was going she had no clue. Getting some clothing probably wouldn't have been a bad idea. Fur aside, she was completely nude.

It became apparent pretty quickly that she was very noticeable. Everybody on the street was stopping and staring at her. She ducked into an alley to get away from all the eyes. She found a nice hiding spot behind a dumpster and thought about what to do next. She closely examined as much of her body as she could. Apart from the fur, ears, and tail, she looked like a normal woman. She figured that if she could shave her body, find a hat to wear, and hide her tail somehow, she could pass for normal and blend into the crowd.

She felt a tap on the shoulder and stood up. A man grabbed her and forced a cloth over her nose and mouth. The cloth had some kind of chemical in it. She was forced to breathe it in. She soon became dizzy and passed out...

When Jessica started coming around, she thought it had all been a dream. Then her vision cleared and she saw that she was still skinny and sexy looking, and still covered in fur. She tried to get up and found her hands and feet were bound to whatever she was laying on. There was a large curtain in front of her. She found that she could move her head at least. She looked around and realized that she was on some kind of stage.

She became aware of someone speaking. Then the curtain rose. She saw a banner in the back of the room titled: "NATIONAL HYPONITIST AND FURRIES CONVENTION"

The next thing she became aware of was a sound not unlike that of a herd stampeding towards her. Within moments hundreds of men, many dressed as various animals, converged upon her like a pack of starving dogs would converge upon a slab of thick juicy steak...

There was a knock on the laboratory's front door. Doctor Nechetohontoquatl answered it. Outside was a mob of young men, some dressed as foxes or cats, or maybe even wolves, the doctor wasn't quite sure. Each of them had a woman with them. The women were either tied up, or unconscious, or both. A certain familiar looking cat girl was busy humping a vibrator and muttering about how horny she was. A man who appeared to be their leader went up to the doctor.

"I have a little proposal for you..." he said.

The next woman was loaded into the chamber. The doctor sat down at the computer console and tapped a few buttons. A loud jet engine noise came from the chamber. The doctor pulled a lever next to the console. Sounds of electricity arcing could be heard now. The doctor then banged the side of the console with his fist. Steam came out of the top of the chamber. The gang of men waited anxiously for the chamber to complete the conversion.

The chamber finished venting its steam. The door was opened and a woman who resembled a humanoid fox was removed. She was still tied up and was now trying to free herself.

"Perfect! Ooh, she's even got the teeth!" one of the men who was examining her said.

Doctor Nechetohontoquatl started talking with the leader of the group.

"Like I said. $5 a woman. You have 100 women, so that will be $500.00. I can also brainwash them for an extra $5" the doctor said.

The man looked at Jessica, who was busy having loud, passionate sex with a man dressed as a wolf, and shook his head.

"No need Doctor. We'll do the brainwashing ourselves." he said.
