Doctor Nechetohontoquatl sat in the padded cell, trying to work his way out of the straitjacket, when out of nowhere, a voice spoke to him.
"You ain't just in here by yourself Doc..." the voice said.
"Whose there?" the doctor asked.
A ghostly woman appeared in front of him. She looked to be young, and fairly attractive. Her head was tilted at a strange angle, as if something was wrong with her neck.
"Man, you look as pale as a ghost." the doctor said.
"I AM a ghost, moron!" she said.
"Ah crap. You're here to haunt me aren't you? Look lady, I got enough problems as it is." he said.
"I know you do. That's why I'm going to help you get out of here. I have a bit of an axe to grind with the lady who runs this place, and you're the only one here who can resist her drugs and programming." she said.
"Ah, let me guess: She killed you and now you want me to avenge your death?" the doctor asked.
She began to laugh. Her ghostly laughter echoed unnaturally off the padded walls. "Nah. She owes me five dollars, and she doesn't think that she needs to pay me back just cos a piano fell on me, broke my neck, and killed me. It's discrimination against the dead, and she should know better." she said.
The straps on Doctor Nechetohontoquatl's straitjacket loosened and soon he was free of it. Next, the door unlatched and opened. The ghost faded and disappeared.
Across from his cell was a door marked "Disguise Room". He opened it and went inside. He needed something that would allow him to blend in, something that would allow him to walk around the place without people giving him a second look...
He emerged from the disguise room wearing floppy shoes, a tuxedo, oversized glasses, a fake beard, and a multi colored clown wig. He set off to look for Karen. Soon he came to a door guarded by a security guard.
"Who are you?" the guard asked.
"Oh, uh, I'm an orderly." Doctor Nechetohontoquatl replied.
"Hm, well, you aren't dressed like an orderly, you don't have an I.D. badge, and I've never seen you here before so, I dunno..." the guard replied.
"Uhh, It's my first day. I lost my badge." the doctor replied.
"Ah, newbie mistake." the guard replied. He handed him a badge and keycard. "There ya go. Dont let it happen again."
Doctor Nechetohontoquatl nodded and walked through the door.
"Pssst! Hey Doc! Check this out!" the ghostly voice said.
The ghostly woman materialized and led him into a control room. There was a large throw type switch on the wall.
"This switch will open all the cell doors of the asylum and let a lot of crazies loose. It'll keep the staff and guards busy for awhile." she said.
Doctor S finished hooking Karen up to the equipment. She stimulated part of Karen's brain via tiny electrodes.
"I... I need some whiskey!" Karen said.
"No Karen. What you need is sex. Whenever you have that urge, it will be because you need to have sex. Alcohol is bad for you. Sex is natural, and good for you." Doctor S said.
"I... I need sex... Not alcohol..." Karen replied.
Doctor S gently patted Karen's head. "Good girl. You're doing so well."
"Now we're going to--" the doctor was interrupted by the sound of alarms.
She left the room and saw inmates running amok everywhere. She stood there frozen in place as the chaos grew. Her staff were in retreat. The inmates began breaking windows and compromising security barriers. She broke her paralysis and began to run for the nearest place to hide.
Doctor Nechetohontoquatl waded through the horde of inmates, most of which didn't notice him. A young woman in a straitjacket bumped into him.
"Hey! You kinda look like that mad scientist guy with the long name who brainwashes women!" she said.
"Uh, nope. You have me mistaken I'm afraid." the doctor replied.
"Oh..." she frowned. "He brainwashed my sister, and I kinda... um, lost it... Things kinda got fuzzy after that, and next thing I knew I woke up covered in blood, and they put me in here." she said.
The doctor nodded, then continued his search for Karen. The ghostly woman appeared in front of him. None of the other inmates seemed to notice her.
"Your girlfriend is in a room down this hallway." she said, pointing out one of the hallway's.
"She's not my girlfriend. She's my assistant." the doctor replied. He appeared to be talking to himself, yet still none of the inmates noticed.
"Then why are you so intent on finding her?" the ghost asked.
"Because semi crazy, bisexual, morally indifferent women, who are willing to kidnap other women for $8.50 an hour are hard to come by!" the doctor replied.
"Good point." the ghost nodded, then faded from view.
Karen was barely aware of the man that entered the room. Her foggy mind did make note of how ridiculously dressed he was. He began to pull the wires and tubes out of her body. He undid the restraints and carried her out of the room. The rocking/bobbing motion of being carried, combined with the drugs still in her system lulled her into a deep sleep...
Lab sweet lab. How Doctor Nechetohontoquatl had missed his lab. Being in that asylum for over two weeks had made him a bit homesick. He set the now awake Karen on the floor, and began to work on a plan to undo the brainwashing she had endured.
Karen got up, and began to walk around the lab in a sort of daze. She walked over to the doctor, grabbed him, and gave him a long, passionate kiss. He pulled away from her.
"Look, I know that you're brainwashed, and that you can't help yourself, but still there's no excuse for you to be acting so unprofessional!" he said.
Karen backed away, looking confused and hurt. She blinked several times in befuddlement, made a small sad noise, then began to wander around the lab. She soon found a phallic object, a test tube, and inserted it into her vagina. The doctor ignored her as she began to move the test tube in and out.
The door burst open, and there stood Doctor S. Her labcoat was shredded, and her catsuit had several rips in it. She held a dart gun in one of her hands. She raised the gun and pointed it at the doctor. She began to walk towards him.
"I don't know how you escaped, and freed all of the inmates, and I don't care. But damnit, I want to know what makes you tick and I'm going to find out!"
She walked forward and aimed the dart gun at his chest.
"This gun contains a dart with enough morphine in it to kill a polar bear, now you're either going to answer my questions, or I'm going to make you go to sleep and never wake up!" she said.
The doctor gave her a look that suggested that he was rather boerd.
"Number 1: How the hell did you resist my attempts to brainwash you?!" she said.
"Eh, probably cos of those experiments with radiation I did back in the seventies. Man, one time I had this, um, accident, and I glowed in the dark for over a week straight! All my hair fell out and took eight months to grow back." he replied.
"Hm... Ya know, that actually explains alot... Now Number 2: How the hell do you know so much about me?!" she asked.
"During the day I go online and read people's blogs. Yours is a favorite of mine." he replied.
She grew pale and her eyes widened. "You mean other people besides me can read my personal web diary?!" she asked.
"Uh, yeah. Pretty much." he replied.
Her arm lowered, and she began to laugh. At first it was chuckling, then it turned to all out laughter. She began to tremble, and her eye twitching. Tears began to roll down her cheeks.
Doctor Nechetohontoquatl turned to Karen, who was still blissfully having sex with the test tube. "Hey! Help me load her into the brainwashing machine!" he said.
Strapped into the brainwashing machine, Doctor S continued to laugh. Her laughter had taken on a certain quality of insanity. She seemed to be unaware of the helmet lowering onto her head. Karen went back to having sex with the test tube, while the doctor activated the console. Doctor S' laughter turned into moans of pleasure. Soon she climaxed, and her face went blank. Doctor Nechetohontoquatl deactivated the console and walked over to her.
"Who do you obey?"
"I obey Doctor Nech- Nechetohontoquatl." she replied.
"Damn straight you do!"
