Chapter I
On the outskirts of town just off route 626 the huge farmhouse stood isolated
and surrounded by the yet to be harvested fields. For as far as the eye could
see, Ed the Farmer's land consumed the vision. Ed, the 55 year old widower had
worked the land since he was old enough to drive the plow and took over after
