I think it might be a male thing, it seems most women don't care whether
a penis is bigger. The reason many get implants to make their breasts
larger is because they think men will be more attracted to them, or
maybe even their man wants them to. Even though it may not be true in
reality, the 'bigger is better' way of thinking seems to be a perception
many have.
