Here we see a three-generation family consisting of nine year-old
Mary-Lou Jutt, her brother twelve year-old Wayne, her mother Ella-
Mae, her father Earl (sometimes Earle) and Grand-Pa [sic]. Ella-
Mae is still fresh nine years after her last child and still
suckles everyone in the family. Mary-Lou is the precocious one.
At nine she has reached the third trimester of pregnancy and has
mammoth breasts, already lactating, plus a huge clitoris.

Everyone copulates with everyone else, at least of different
gender, in just about every possible manner and nearly to the
exclusion of other activity. Everyone is always cheerful, as the
man said: "Happy as if they had good sense." Even the flashback to
Mary-Lou's paternal defloration depicts her as climaxing after the
pain subsides.

At first I thought Ms. Willington should have consulted an editor.
I was well into the story, tut-tutting over the typos, excess
commas, dangling participles and non-sequiturs, before the author's
intention finally dawned. "Daddy's Angel" is in fact an
exceptionally complete parody of the typical story published in
ASSM, including almost all the common cliches and stereotypes. One
may assume that the errors are equally deliberate.

This story is a functional catalog, cleverly composed, instructive
and humorous to that purpose. But it is not entertaining.

Somehow I am reminded of James Blish's "Black Easter," of the field
of people fucking endlessly under Lucifer's appraising eye.
