visitors blubbering and sending you spiralling into a week long
depression. Having to watch whatever everyone else wants to watch on TV,
usually WWE, soaps, or shitty crime shows. Listening to the endless
bullshit from other incarcerees and wanting them to fuck off so you can
read, read, read... cos there's fuck all else to do. Yes, even reading
the telephone book, looking up people you're not allowed to call because
you've had your allocation or the number's not on the okay list.
And enduring that for, like 6 months... eh? Y'mean she did, like, three
weeks? Three weeks? I'll take that, 'cept, can I have mine during school
break? Tell you what, Paris, you pop over and mind my kids for three
weeks and I do your next stretch. Prison won't sound as bad, I'll bet.
Now that's all the time I'm going to spend on this farce because I'm
sick to death of it.
