Personally, I prefer breast in a romantic description, the word
tit to me has the connotation of a breast as a lust object.
I think this is mostly a shortcoming of the English language. Just
like there is no neutral word for a penis of vagina. Penis and
vagina have a very much clinical association, but there are no
other terms that one could use in polite conversation.
The Dutch language has the word "piemel" which, to me, doesn't
have the clinical feeling of "penis" or the vulgar one of
"lul" (dick). The word "piemel" may not be particulary romantic,
but at least you can use it in more-or-less normal conversation.
