"Yes dear, for a full year. She tells me it will take that long to completely

"She'll be telling you that," Maxine stood up. "I will be coming back to

started to the door.
Uncertain, Mary Ann watched her go, fearful of what her training might be. Once
her mother had left, she turned back to the strange woman.
The lady walked back up to Mary Ann, her eyes taking in the young girl, "From
this day forward you will address me as Mistress Lucinda. Your mother, Maxine,
brought you here to me for training... slave training. Do you understand?"
Mistress Lucinda slapped her thigh with the switch.
"A slave?" Mary Ann gulped.
"Yes, a slave of the lowest kind, but we'll start your training later. First,
I'll take you to your room, your very own room, but these rooms do not have

"Mistress Lucinda," Mary Ann dropped her face.
"That's a good slave," Mistress Lucinda replied. "Your mother said you were a
