I found Sharon in the mall waiting for me, I had already looked around for obvious surveillance personnel, but couldn't see anyone - either they were that good or didn't exist, but it never hurt to be cautious.

"Hello," She said, "Thanks for inviting me, what do you want me to do?" she asked. I told her then I asked how Safina was.

I had to apologise to her, I don't really have anything to do with that side of the business, but I thought Bill might be able to help her, so I suggested that I'd get him to check and contact her. The woman noticed my glance and smiled at me, I was really tempted to change my criteria, but work must come first and I had other things to do, perhaps some other day. Sharon had also notice my gaze,

We carried on shopping and looking around, I still couldn't see any extra security guards or suspicious people, a couple of times I saw the woman and child, they seemed to be taking things easy as well.

I took Sharon into one of the 'private' shops and we looked at their collection of toys, most of which was sub-standard quality, I felt like complaining about the merchandise but thought better of it.

Finally the time of the meeting arrived and Sharon and I walked to the cafe.

Seated in the café was the woman and child, this was becoming ridiculous, 'almost as if they wanted to be taken' I thought, then I notice the rose in her hair, this was the contact point and she had the I.D. visible as I had said.

I glanced around the café, still all was normal - well now for it and to see if I was going to be arrested or paid. I sat down in the seat opposite her with Sharon beside me.

"Hello Mr. Smith?" the woman asked. I nodded she continued, "I'm Dr. Elizabeth Watkins, this is Sue-Li" I looked closely at the girl, yes her eyes gave her away, no she wasn't the woman's daughter, but she was very quiet.

"How do you do Dr. Watkins. I hope you don't mind but I think Sharon want to have a word with you in private," I gestured to the ladies toilets.

"Certainly," Elizabeth replied, "I look forward to that," she had a predatory look in her eyes, it seemed that Sharon was affecting her as well. I caught the eye of the waitress and ordered some drinks while the two were away, I studied Sue-Li, she was a very quiet girl indeed, I asked her if she was enjoying herself here, she nodded, I became suspicious and looked closely at her. Before I could continue Sharon and Elizabeth returned, both were flushed and Sharon's hair was slightly disheveled, She nodded her head,

"She's clean, I mean, I didn't find anything on her." The blush on her face made me wonder if she'd also checked inside, but I didn't ask. I looked at Elizabeth who stared back at me.

"I assumed you would want to check us over," I said, "but I don't see anyone to search me." Elizabeth smiled,

"Don't worry, I'm going to do that myself." At my look she added, "Well I am a doctor!" she motioned to the disabled toilets, I nodded and got up, to find that Sue-Li was also moving with us, I looked at her, Elizabeth nodded her head, "Yes I think its better if she does join us," I shrugged and walked to the toilets, entered and turned to find Elizabeth and Sue-Li right behind me.

Elizabeth closed the door, "Now Sue-Li, you can use the toilet!" she said to the girl as she removed the cloak, The girl was naked beneath it, the skirt I could see was part of the cloak itself, Elizabeth handed me the cloak to check over, which I did, it was well made and quite warm, I checked the label on the cloak. 'Red Riding clothiers. RC' which didn't mean much to me, and I thought I knew most of the suppliers of 'special' clothes.

Elizabeth smiled, "I know just the people she should talk to, do you mind if I give her a card?"

"No, that should be okay, I trust her," I said to Elizabeth, "The question is do you trust her?" "After what we did earlier? Yes, I do trust her" She replied.

I opened the communications and said, "Is everything okay back there?" Elizabeth's voice answered, "Yes, it's fine, I quite like the dark." Reminding me that I hadn't turned on the interior light, which I corrected immediately, "That's much better." She said. And I concentrated on driving home.
