Neither answered at first and then John started to speak, “It sounded fun at first, but now we’re here and with the door locked . . .” He went quiet so I finished. “You’re scared that I’m going to make you do things that you don’t like?” I watched them as they nodded their heads. “Don’t worry, I think you’d better stay back here so that you can watch, and if you feel that you want to join us then you’re free to do so.” I told them and watched their faces clear up. “I’m sorry Mr. Wilson, I thought you were going to tell us to undress.” Tanya said, a trace of fear still showing in her eyes. I smiled gently at her, “No, Tanya. You’re really too young to take part in this class, but because of what you’ve been through I have to show you these things are not meant to be scary, but when you’re in the correct frame of mind they can be . . . not fun so much as exciting.” “Exciting? Who, while I was talking to Tanya and John, had prepared for the lesson by undressing. They had also found out towels for sitting on – I must have some boy scouts or girl guides in the class! I smiled at the group. “Thank you for getting ready. I realise that doing this is, for some of you, still awkward, to be undressed here with your friends, but that is the aim of this course. Yesterday you all learnt about touching each other’s bodies.” I looked at Tracy and Roger. “Some of you went a bit too far with that!” I said pointedly, the two had red faces and the rest of the class giggled. “Today we’re just going to get comfortable with being naked in the classroom, but I do need a volunteer for a ‘special’ lesson.” I emphasised the special part and looked at April as I did so. But the incident that Tanya and John have gone through is making me question this.” The puzzled looks told me that, once again, I was losing them as I ‘heard’ Evelyn’s voice in my head. ‘No sir, we don’t want to stop!’ I looked at her in surprise and saw her shaking her head. “But that wasn’t your question was it Adam?” I found myself asking. “No Mr. Wilson, it’s not that we are scared of you, it just if at some stage we ask to . . . well, pause for a bit – to understand what is happening? Would we be able to do that?” He said looking around the class for encouragement. I could see the head’s bobbing up and down like the dogs you sometimes see in the back of car windows. “I see, so what you want is a safety net, so that if you feel that I’m pushing too hard you’re able to tell me? Is that it?” I said watching their faces. Adam nodded, “Yes Mr. Wilson. It’s just that some of this seems . . .” He was groping for the word. “Too intense.” Evelyn said out loud making everyone look at her and then back at me. I raised an eyebrow at Evelyn who blushed and bit her lip, “I’m sorry Mr. Wilson, I should have raised my hand, but I thought that was what Adam was trying to say.” I could see she had more in mind and so I nodded to her ‘Go on Evelyn.’ I prompted her mentally. She smiled at me and then carried on. “It’s just that my sister managed to tell me what had happened to her, she was forced to do things and she didn’t want to face anything again.” Evelyn looked at me, “But while she was asleep something happened to her which drew her back to us, for that we’ll always be grateful to the person who did that. And we’ll always do what he tells us to do!” The last, I could tell, was being directed to me. “Okay then, so what we need is a phase that will let everyone know that someone has a problem, any suggestions?” I said. Everyone had their hand raised but most of the suggestions were either too suggestive or could be misconstrued as to its use. Finally we decided on candy-floss, mainly because no-one would use that in the middle of a class. I decided that it was time to continue with the lesson, “Well, now we’ve got that sorted out lets carry on shall we? I addressed my two ‘victims’. “Now if I was to tie you two up with just the rope it’s likely that I’d hurt you more than is necessary, although in many cases the whole reason to tying somebody up is to cause pain, please remember that there are many cruel people outside. Tanya and John both nodded when I said that, I smiled at them reassuringly and then went to April. “Hold out your arms.” I said to her and then put the leather cuffs onto her wrists, then I knelt down and did the same with her ankles. I asked her to stand and to bring her hands behind her back. I crossed them at her wrists and began to tie her wrists together.
