Prologue

Ben was a young, energetic man although he led a quiet and relaxed inconspicuous life. He grew up in an ordinary village, joined the local scouting group and played a lot in the forest next to the village.

When he grew older he became active being the leader of a scouting group and that made his popularity increase, something he was happy about. He also spent a lot of time in and around the cabins in the forest even beyond the active hours of the club. He enjoyed the time he spent taking kids on scouting trips the most.

Ben especially enjoyed longer camping trips beyond weekends and holidays. On one such occasion, something happened that caused him to become interested in some other aspects. On the second day of camping he had two sick kids placed under his care, a boy and a girl. They had caught colds and they were coughing and sneezing a lot.

Because he was experienced in amateur medical science he took care of them. At the local pharmacy he bought a bottle of cough syrup and 2 bottles of nose drops and took them back to the camp.

From that moment on the two kids came to him every morning, afternoon, evening and night for their medicines. They knelt down on their little knees when he gave them a spoon of the syrup first. After that he gave them a large dose of the nose drops. The first treatment they didn't mind but the second they did. But because they loved the attention they still bent their heads backwards obediently.

That was the moment he signed out with the agency. He now had a new goal, moving from the health field to education, but to get there it would be a little harder. He enrolled in the teachers' training college.

During the years he spent there he had work placements at many elementary schools. There were not many men choosing this profession so he knew that it wouldn't be hard to get a job doing that later. Ben kept his preferences a secret of course but he didn't notice at first that he wasn't the only one who was attracted to little kids.

From that moment on Ben started a database which contained the names of all the children in the school. He separated boys from girls and the different age groups. All of this information he sorted in a way that he could search the database on different subjects. Meanwhile he selected a couple of kids that met his demands.
