NOT ALL STORIES WILL BE ACCEPTED into the archive, although most stories will have a chance.
If your story hasn't been proofread by you or has non-standard punctuations or structure, it will be placed in the "to be edited" area. If an editor is willing to make the corrections then it will be added to the archive. [Editors are volunteers and are not affiliated with the archive.]
These types of stories WILL NOT be published in the archive:
1. Stories that are just a few paragraphs long.
2. Stories that have been written in all capital letters. Reading all capital letters when viewing online creates eye strain.
3. If it is deemed that the story was written too poorly for reader enjoyment. (No story will be rejected for content.)
PUBLISHING OF YOUR STORY MAY BE DELAIED IF it has to be turned over to our volunteer editors. It will be submitted to the editors because:
1. If the story was submitted in one lone paragraph, or the paragraphs or formatting are non-standard.
2. If the story has no quotation-marks for dialog.
3. If the story wasn't sufficiently spell-checked or if the author's native tongue is other than English and there are too many grammatical errors.
The above conditions apply to only a small portion of submissions. We are not trying to be critical of small anomalies, but we have had submissions that are not readable or so far outside the normal writing structure standards that readers have complained.
In the end, this site exists for the reader, and our aim is to keep them coming back to read your stories.
Please continue on to post your story now.
