        Chapter 33

    Nearly a week had gone by. Ted had given his two teenage models some
time off after the weekend party. Jenny knew he was using the week to get to
know Megan, a young girl that he had met through Jenny.
    The end of the school year was approaching, and with it all sorts of
exams and boring tests that Reina and Jenny should be preparing for. So in
many ways Jenny should have felt lucky to have some time to devote to
school.
    All she could think about however was this Sarah woman that she had met
at Ted's party, the woman who had given them a ride home,  and with that
ride a very special present that she and Reina had only just begun to enjoy.
All these memories flooded Jenny's head. But even more than that was the
image of this beautiful woman and what she had been wearing at the party.
She'd worn a sheer dress and clearly underneath was some sort of corset.
Stunning. This was how Jenny had experienced how Sarah had looked. Simply
stunning. And this made Jenny all the more curious.
    She'd kept Sarah's card carefully in her drawer. She hadn't called her.
Nor had she called her uncle to ask him what this Sarah person was like. But
everyday she'd asked Reina if she had heard from either Ted or this woman
Sarah.
    All week Reina had responded that no, she hadn't heard anything, and
that actually that was good because who knew when her mom or someone else

made Jenny excited that she had such a friend.
    She began to consider how her relationship had changed with Reina. They
had only gotten closer since they had begun working for her Uncle Ted.
Jenny loved Reina's fashion sense (when she could dress how she wanted
without her family knowing). That meant that Reina spent more overnights at
Jenny's house. Jenny's mom was getting busier it seemed. Or was it this man
that her mom had begun to talk about? Was she going out more? Jenny thought
maybe she should pay more attention to what her mom was doing. Except that
Jenny was getting busier herself what with her best friend staying over more
and her Uncle Ted hiring her to work more. And now maybe this Sarah would
hire her as a photographer's assistant. Two jobs! At fifteen! That would be
fantastic. And doing things she loved to do! When Jenny thought about how a
few short months ago she had been bored out of her mind she couldn't believe
it.
    But what led her to think these thoughts had been originally that she
had begun to feel that boredom of several months ago. Just fleetingly. The
week had gone by without anything to do except school work. Horrible!
    It was after class on Friday, when Jenny trudged home without any
prospect of something to do for the weekend, that Jenny's life changed.
There was a message on the phone machine for Jenny to call Sarah.
    The voice on the machine was asking if Jenny was available this weekend
for a photo shoot at Sarah's studio. And could Reina come as well? Saturday
at noon would be the time to show up. They should plan to spend the day and
into the evening. It would depend how the shoot went what time they would be
done. Please leave the evening free. That was the message.
    Jenny's heart raced. She called Reina immediately. No answer. Then she
called her mom at work.
    "What are you doing tomorrow?" asked Jenny innocently when her mom got
to the phone.
    "Um, well, I was thinking of going to an auction with Mike," she said.
    "Mike? Who's he?" Jenny asked. Immediately it dawned on her.
    "Only the man I've been dating three times already," her mom said with
some impatience.
    "Oh, right," Jenny's eyes raised and it was a good thing her mom could
not see her.
    "You do know who I mean, don't you?"
    "Yes, mom, of course I do," Jenny said to try and placate her. She
wanted to change the subject.  "I was wondering if Reina could spend the
night on Saturday. We want to make a day of it in the Haight. We want to
find all sorts of great clothes and then try them on for each other after
pizza or something."
    "Sounds like a plan," her mother said relieved that her daughter would
be occupied. "Do you want me to call Reina's mother and let her know what's
happening?"
    This was a little code between Jenny and her mother. They both knew how
ridiculous Reina's parents were and had developed ways to help her out.
    "You read my mind, thanks, mom, I love you!" Jenny said.
    "Ok, I might be home late," her mom said.
    "I'll keep the second latch off for you," Jenny said, again, their code
for not locking the door a double time until they were both home safe. Jenny
hoped she would be home before her mom got in. Little did she know.

    Chapter 34

    Jenny tried calling Reina again and this time reached her.
    "Guess what?" she said when she recognized Reina's voice.
    "Oh no, not one of your guessing games again," Reina said with her
annoying know-it-all voice. Jenny wondered what was bothering her, but the
moment passed too fast to remember.
    "Sarah has asked us to do a photo shoot tomorrow!"
    Reina's voice could be heard from across the room through the phone.
"What?!!"
    "A photo shoot! With someone other than my uncle!"
    "You mean that woman that gave us a ride home the other night???" Reina
asked incredulously.
    "Yes!" was all Jenny said.
    "What about..." Reina started.
    "I've taken care of everything. You can come to my house and spend the
night on Saturday. That will give us plenty of time to get back to
'normal'," Jenny said quickly.
    Funny, but Reina knew what she meant and said, "Cool, I'll ask my mom,
though I'm sure she'll be ok with it," and Reina hung up with out a goodbye.
    This was good news for Jenny. It meant that Reina really wanted to do
something like this this weekend.
    Not ten minutes went by before Reina called back to say everything was
set. They quickly talked about what they would wear to Sarah's studio and
then hung up.
    They had easily decided to wear pants and blouse outfits, though each of
them chose something of their favorites to wear. Reina appeared at Jenny's
house in black satin pants and heels with a tiger skin satin blouse. Jenny
chose some spandex leopard skin pants and a black silk blouse with thigh
highs and heels for her outfit. When they saw each other they laughed; it
was uncanny how they complemented each other. Their makeup and nails were
done how Ted's  people had taught them. They made quite a pair as they
waited on the street.
    Sarah had said she would send a limo for them. They couldn't help but be
excited. It was a little after noon when the black limousine pulled up to
the curb.
The driver got out and opened the door for the girls. There was enough room
in back for four people. They chose to sit like regular riders facing the
front.
    "Good afternoon," the driver said as her got back in. A window was open
from the driver's seat to their compartment. "Ms. Sarah has asked that I see
that you're made comfortable for the ride. My name is Harold. There are
refreshments open for you. She has asked that you take the pills that are in
the cups marked with your names. They will boost your energy for the
afternoon session. If you have no questions we will depart."
    Jenny and Reina looked at each other and took the cups in their hands.
There were three round pills for them to take. They swallowed them with what
looked like mineral water that was already poured into crystal glasses. As
they made a symbolic toast, the limousine pulled away from the curb.
    Harold had closed the window so that Jenny and Reina were alone
together. Jenny poured some more water into their glasses and they enjoyed
their newfound treatment.
    Some music began to play from somewhere in the compartment and the two
settled back for the ride. The water tasted very good to both of them and
they continued to refill each other's glass.  Funny how thirsty they were.
    They hadn't talked very openly about how they had kissed each other in a
car similar to this one when Sarah had driven them home. But they started to
feel more relaxed now. The pills were taking their effect. Plus being alone
for the first time had its effect also.
    "So do you like the pants I chose?" Jenny asked as she slid closer to

girls up a little. They went toward the voice. "That's right, come this way
to the dressing rooms. I'll give you a tour soon enough."
    When they had walked the length of the hall, they followed Sarah into a
cluttered room with lots of mirrors.
    "I am so glad you could come for this photo session! Ever since I met
you at Ted's party I've been working to set this up!" Sarah gushed as she
guided them toward the racks of clothes.
    Sarah was dressed in jeans and a black silk blouse, a vest and heels.
She didn't look anything like she did at the party, Jenny thought fleetingly
to herself.
    "You're going to be the perfect models for this shoot!" Sarah said as
she turned to pick out some clothes from the racks.
    Both the girls realized at the same time that they were going to be
photographed, not just working behind the scenes. In their relaxed state
they were even more excited than if they had just been working as helpers.
After stealing smiles with each other they listened to Sarah.
    "Ok, have you ever worn something like this before?" Sarah asked as she
held up a corset of red satin.
    "No," they said in unison.
    "Then you have a treat ahead of you," Sarah promptly said and called for
two assistants. "Ted already told me your measurements so I have have
assembled the proper sizes for you to wear. Your assistants will help you.
We will start with these first. Put them on and we will do your makeup

saying as much to Jenny and Reina as to the assistants. She left them to
prepare.
    The pills continued to effect them as they dreamily undressed and the
