Kimi smiled at Amanda with a stare, expressing a joy for her best friend that was
so special in a way that cannot be explained.  Sensing Kimi's attention, Amanda
look up and smiled back, and Kimi started cutting into her pancakes, joining
Amanda in their morning meal.  And sometime during their breakfast...

"You knew about this, didn't you?" asked Kimi.

"Huh?" reacted Amanda, not hearing most of her question.

"You planned all this, right?" Kimi again inquired, but Amanda had a puzzled look
on her face.  "You know, dinner, sleepover, fucking..."  Amanda placed her fork
down and took a second to swallow what she had left in her mouth.  She loved
Kimi, and she could never lie to her.  So the truth came out slowly but surely.

"Yeah," Amanda finally admitted.  "I'm sorry.  Will you forgive me?"

"There's nothing to forgive," said Kimi. "I love you for it," the blonde thanked.
