I decided to wait a day before submitting this one because of it's content.
I can't pre-code it without giving things away. but there are no real
'squicks' here (though there may seem to be one or two at first). Trust Me!

There is a little sex though, so if that's not to your liking, don't read
it.

This is my story though, written and posted by me - don't steal it . . .
want to use it somewhere, Ask.

Anything for a Little Nookie

I had just breached the container with the prize when I was discovered.

I knew I had been seen because of the unholy yowl sounded by the demon they
had guarding this portion of the facility. A creature of truly demonic
proportions, easily three times my size, a massive entity of fur, demon
yellow eyes, fangs that rend and claws that tear. A being so unnaturally
fast and fierce that I doubted my own survival.

"That fucking bitch and her demands," I thought, even as I dove into the
container and came up with double handfuls of the precious material it
contained, reaching it back over my head and into the Velcro-like fur I wore
on my back. Then I was out the other side and scrambling crazily across the
raised platform towards a hole in it's rear. A hole which I hoped beyond
hope was still open. One through which I knew I would fit but also knew to
be too small to pass the watch demon.

It was not my first time in this portion of the facility, having been here
once before and survived the creature's performance of it's duties only at
the cost of a long time friend's life. Sniff had been foolish and tried to
cross a wide open area of the floor while the demon was in sight. I'd never
seen anything move so quickly or attack so fiercely before that day. One
swipe of it's horrendous claws had been enough to break the back of my
friend and I had been forced to hide and watch as it tormented poor Sniff,
batting and clawing at his now crippled form before finally ending it. I had
escaped that time only because it was so engrossed in it's play that it
failed to see me crossing through the shadows to the small tunnel and safer
confines beyond the walls.

We are a gypsy-like band of wanderers, a family clan unit making their
living mostly as pirates of the road, stealing a little here and there to
survive in this harsh and changing world we lived in. Staying in one place
only so long as the foraging was good and the pickings were profitable for
the group. Then we would move on to more profitable and normally less
hostile climes.

In the years of my life I had seen the group move many times, sometimes
living in small caves and foraging village fields, stealing little bits here
and there from the shops and homes of the village while the clan built it's
strength for the next move. Sometimes we lived in abandoned structures
within larger cities and roamed fairly freely among the populations there,
though always with low profiles and an eye towards the security of the unit
as a whole, for we were feared by many and disliked by almost all among the
populations of this world. Considered a vermin and blight upon the land any
discovery often led to the others trying to eradicate us totally and
completely, though seldom with more than a minimum of success. There have
been successes though as entire clans have occasionally disappeared as if
they never were.

I saw the opening ahead and a little to my right even as I heard the
creature land atop the platform behind me, having made an unheard of leap
from the floor below to the platform's great height. I didn't slow, nor
looked behind me, but tried to run even faster as I angled towards the
momentary freedom the opening would provide. I would plan my next moves once
I was within the darkness below. With a final lunge forward and a leap
towards the opening I fell through even as I felt the air across my withers
move as the creature's huge claw filled paw passed close behind me.

I lay where I landed, catching my breath and slowing my racing heart,
replaying in my mind exactly how I had come to be in this predicament. To be
fair, it was not really Glenna's fault any more than it was mine. It was one
of those hormonal and pheromone things that are always getting men in
trouble. I was randy as hell and there was something about her the past few
days that made me want her more than sanity just now. I had been
complimenting her, wheedling her, cajoling and practically begging her to
give me her favors. She was being stand-offish though and was having none of
it. Things in the clan were bad just now, as the locals were beginning to
get wise and their security was increasing. Everyone was on short rations
and testy as the pickings had become more meager of late. Finally, only
hours ago, Glenna had agreed to my approaches, providing I got her something
more to eat than the crumbs and dwindling supplies of the clan could
provide. Which is the why behind my present circumstance.

From my earlier foray into this section of town and this building
specifically, I knew of the very choice morsels stored within. I also knew
of the creature, of course, but wasn't I the best scrounge and thief of the
clan? Wasn't it I who had been the only one to return with anything during
our most recent provision raids? Wasn't it I who could defeat the staunchest
security measures? Wasn't it I who was about to die for my stupidity? For
not remembering the very nature of the beast now prowling back and forth
outside of my hidey hole? But the blood had been boiling within me and my
lust for Glenna had over-ridden my common sense when I'd chosen this place
as my target.

I moved then, stealthily and as silently as possible to a small crack in the
outer wall of my hidey which looked out into the room beyond. There was the
Demon, pacing back and forth before the thick wall of protective wood that
separated us. It's ears were twitching like radar, tall pointy dishes atop
it's head that twitched this way and that as it sought out any hint of sound
that would expose my location. It had been an untoward sound that had
exposed Sniff's dash for freedom to the creature on that long ago visit. I
had seen those ears twitch and seem to swivel almost completely around at
the sound, before the head finally followed it and it's evil yellow eyes
found it's prey. Once seen, the attack was immediate and so swift that my
poor friend had no chance to get away or defend himself in any form. It was
then too that I remembered the promise I'd made myself,
 - having finally regained my freedom - to never return here under any
circumstances . . . yet here I was. It was then too that I remembered that
it had been poor Sniff who had taught me everything I knew about the
larcenous arts, about defeating security measures, and surviving to return
to the clan with our treasures. Sniff who had died at the hands of the
monster now before my eyes and it was only because the demon had been
distracted by it's play with poor Sniff that I had escaped the first time.
This time I was alone - fool!

If I got out of this and got home again I was going to wear that pussy out
until she wouldn't be able to stand for three days - she'd owe me that much!

Reaching down beside me to the concrete floor on which I knelt I gently, oh
so gently, taped one nail on the floor, making the only the slightest of
sounds. The creature froze in it's pacing and those ears swiveled in my
direction immediately, to be followed only a moment later by the entire head
of the creature as those baleful yellow eyes scanned the surface of the wall
behind which I hid. Back and forth across the outer wall of the platform
those eyes scanned once, before coming almost immediately to rest upon the
very crack through which I watched. It's expression changed, going from one
of watchfulness and seeking to almost pure malice and ferocity as it's lips
curled back in a snarl and the thing's huge fangs bared to my view. With a
wild yowling scream it charged the crack and slammed into the very wall of
the platform itself, it's weight causing vibrations in the wood though it's
thickness was greater than the reach of my forearm.

The suddenness and ferocity of the attack took me by surprise and I fell
backwards and away from it's point of impact. The creature fell in a heap
outside of the wall with a mewling sound that seemed as much of surprise as
of pain. It was momentarily stunned by the impact and I decided that it was
now or never, since I doubted that it could be coaxed into another such
foolhardy action.

I was back at the hole in a moment and out. Running across the platform to
the wall behind I began climbing quickly, using the same hand holds and
protrusions to climb that I had used to descend to the platform on my
arrival. High up, under the edges of the facility's roof was a narrow ledge
which would allow me to circumnavigate the room fairly rapidly, though I
would need to crouch for clearance. If I could reach the safety of that
ledge, I doubted that even this vile demon from hell could reach such a
height in a leap.

Before I had reached the safety of the heights however, I heard the creature
stirring and recovering behind me and I redoubled my efforts, taking foolish
chances as I scrambled blindly forward. The gods do seem to have a soft spot
for idiots and fools at times though, and this was one of those times, as my
hands reached the ledge even as I heard the creature leaping once again onto
the platform below. Pulling mightily with my arms and scrabbling furiously
with my feet I rolled onto the ledge and looked down just in time to see the
monster making a prodigious leap upwards towards me. Clawing furiously at
the wall as it rose, giving greater impetus and height to it's leap it began
clawing at the air separating us in an endeavor to divorce me of my life.
Unbelievably, it rose to within inches of being within reach of me and
terror again sank it's tendrils within my heart. Who could believe such a
thing was possible? It had surely leaped almost eight times it's own height
in that endeavor to reach me. Deciding the best part of valor was in putting
greater distance between me and the demon I moved - besides, it was only a
few feet and I was beyond the edge of the platform and the monster would
have that much greater a distance to leap from the floor below.

Thus far, I had been reacting more than thinking in my rush for survival and
I paused a moment to do just that. First reaching back over my shoulders
where I found that my treasures were still with me and intact. Then I both
thought and looked ahead to what was between me and my escape. My heart
dropped into my bowels at the sight.

There before me, about half the distance to my goal was a tall storage shelf
standing only a short distance from the wall upon which I had scurried in my
efforts to escape. I had no way of knowing what the reasoning powers of the
creature below were, but that shelf would make the wall top and easy jump
for it. Getting atop the shelf should also be an easy matter for something
with it's leaping abilities and claws. Even the dimmest of intelligences
could figure that one. There was only the one shelving unit though, and an
almost equal distance beyond that were the thick cables up which I'd climbed
on entering this place. Below those, the small damaged portion of the wall
through which I'd entered and which should be my means of escape, if I could
reach it. The damage was hidden behind a stack of crates, and, outside, was
hidden by a huge, howling air conditioning unit.

Studying the layout of the path ahead, I prayed the demon below would prove
stupid enough for me to first get past the shelving unit, yet smart enough
to take a cue or two and begin climbing the unit once I'd passed it. It
would be while it was climbing that I would let myself down the cables and,
hopefully, make my escape through the wall behind the crates, before it
could again reach the floor and arrive to stop me. I moved ahead.

The first part of the plan was simplicity itself, as the thing merely paced
back and forth below me, looking constantly up at my moving form atop the
wall. Never once did it take it's eyes from me to look for another way to
reach my position. Once I was past the shelving though, and about half the
distance to the cables that were my goal, the second part of my plan proved
to be a bit more difficult to achieve. The thing just didn't want to
cooperate. First I looked openly at the shelving unit, something I'd
studiously avoided doing until now, then down at the creature and back to
the tall unit. No dice. It simply would not take it's eyes from me. I tried
calling out to the thing, with phrases meant to suggest what it should do,
taunting it while trying to give it the right idea.

"Oh my, I hope the big bad demon doesn't climb up the shelving after me."
and "What's the matter stupid? Afraid of heights?" and finally, "Are you
fucking blind as well as stupid? Can't you see the shelving and how easy it
would be to use it and reach me?"

No damn luck! Not only was it evidently too stupid to work things out for
itself, apparently it couldn't understand simple language or take hints
either. It simply wouldn't take it's eyes off of me. In frustration I picked
up a bit of crumbled concrete from the wall beside me and threw it at the
thing. I didn't come anywhere near it, but I did notice a very interesting
result from my action. The thing followed the track of the little stone from
the time it left my hand until it hit the floor behind it. Turning, it
walked over to the little bit and sniffed it before once again returning to
stare balefully at the top of the wall and me. This gave me another idea and
I began searching for another little bit or two that I could throw. I found
three.

I threw them one at a time at the shelving unit and watched carefully for
any indication from the creature that it was puzzling things out. With the
first chip, it again followed the flight of the jagged piece with it's eyes,
watched as it struck the side of a crate stacked on the third shelf up and
bounced to the ground below. Again it moved to the bit and sniffed at it
before once again returning to stare at me. I thought about throwing a piece
or two and trying a dash down the cables and for freedom, but as quickly as
the thought came I discarded it. I doubted that such actions could distract
the thing long enough for me to get completely down the cables themselves,
let alone make the last final dash for the crates and the hole behind them.
Nope, I had to get it climbing, concentrating on that little something else
before I made my move, distracting it enough so I could gain the time I
needed.

The second bit of concrete I threw so that it missed things stacked on the
shelves and landed on a shelf itself. Again the thing followed the flying
pebble with it's eyes and moved in the direction it was flying. This time
however, it lost sight of the small chunk as it disappeared onto the shelf
and rattled around there before finally coming to rest. The beast put it all
together then, looking up at the shelf where the small bit had disappeared,
then further up the shelves, at the gap between and the top of the wall, and
finally following that wall to where I sat watching. I watched and could
almost see the workings of it's mind as it sat back on it's haunches and
puzzled things out.

The move came so suddenly then that I almost missed my cue. I had looked
ahead once again, trying to gauge the time I would need and the best way to
gauge my timing for the moves ahead, and when I looked back it was no longer
on the floor. What saved me though was that it first jumped to the shelf
where the little bit of concrete had landed and was sniffing around there
until it found the stone I'd thrown. While it searched, I moved, scrambling
quickly forward while I kept one eye on the thing itself. It looked up at my
movements and partly bared it's fangs before once again searching for the
bit I'd thrown, not willing to leave it's position until it was assured that
it was not I who had leaped across the intervening distance to the shelf
upon which it now stood.

I was just arriving at the cables down which I would climb when the thing
returned it's gaze to me once again with a scream, finally realizing that it
had been tricked. It moved then with that phenomenal speed which I'd seen
only once on my earlier visit. Scrabbling across the shelf it reach upwards
and sank it's claws into the outside of a crate and began pulling itself
upwards, sinking first it's fore claws into the soft wood, then raising and
sinking it's hind claws in just below the front ones. It released the front
claws then and pushed itself upwards in a lunging leap to a crate on the
next higher shelf where it was repeating the process.

I was almost hypnotized by the things actions and momentarily faltered in my
own movements before coming to myself and moving hurriedly forward. Grabbing
hold of the cables I lunged over the edge and made my way quickly down to
the floor below. Taking one moment to look upwards I found the thing in mid
leap, halfway to the wall top from the shelves behind it, looking around at
my new location even as it soared across the distance above. Another scream
of rage and I almost froze in terror at the sound of it. It was actually
reaching the wall before I began moving the few feet to the crate and my
freedom beyond.

Just as I turned away, from the corner of my eye, I saw the thing land upon
the walls top, turn in place and leap straight at me across the intervening
distance, as if trying to reach me in a pounce from above. I leaped forward
between the crate and the wall even as I heard it landing on the concrete
behind in what sounded like a controlled landing on all four feet. I didn't
stop to look, but forced my head and shoulders through the opening and began
wriggling the rest of me through from behind.

"Yeow!" I howled in pain even as I fell through the hole and rolled away on
the ground below. The thing had caught me with one claw, on a leg, even as I
gained my freedom. Looking back I saw one foreleg and claw-distended black
paw waving in the air behind me as the thing dug blindly this way and that
in an effort to prevent my escape. The screams of it's anger and frustration
the only sounds on the dark night air beyond that of my own panting.

Looking, I found I was lucky. Only the barest of scratches marked me, though
it had felt for a moment like my entire leg might be torn off. I again check
the status of my burden and turned towards home.

I laid my most of my acquisitions before the family elders while carefully
keeping the choicest little bit hidden away. After receiving the accolades
and congratulations of the others and having Granny tend to the small curt
on my leg I went to Glenna's room.

Presenting her with the most choice of the treasures I had recovered I
watched her eyes light up as she admired it's flaky crust, rich chocolate
filling and the stiff fluffy whites of the meringue on top. She reached for
it and I stopped her, reminding her of her promise and the whole reason
behind my foray into danger. She pouted for a moment then smiled and happily
relented saying that with or without the effort she would have succumbed to
my charms on the morrow (now she tells me).

Positioning her to my liking, I stood her high in the rear, forcing her legs
apart and her face down and forward before placing the captured prize within
her reach. I mounted her then, even as she ate the delicious wedge before
her, grasping firmly at her shoulders and back I positioned myself and
entered her with a thrust that felt as heaven itself when her heat
surrounded and gripped me. I was thrusting then, humping forward fiercely
with my hips, as rapidly as I was able, while jerking her backwards with my
grip. As a final measure, I wrapped my tail down and under us, reaching
beneath her and tickling constantly at her rising teats, tickling first this
one, then another and a third, then a fourth, here and there questing and
missing none while pummeling her depths.

I had completed my quest and was now claiming my prize. Justly deserved.
After all, wasn't I the Pie Rat?
