Hi! We're Peaches & Cream. We're just two ordinary Joes who like
reading and romance. Recently, there was a Summer Solstice Romance
Festival on ASSM, and it caught our attention. We started discussing
the stories and our reviews were born. Our format is simple: one of us
starts the review, the other chimes in, and then the starter finishes
it off. Because this is all about romance, we'll be scoring with 0-5
kisses. We'll be posting a review a day until we finish the stories
that were submitted, beginning with the Flash stories.

Peaches:

What is it like when two lovers first become aware of one another?
Temptation at its peak? Most Definitely! This story is such a journey.

Eating the forbidden fruit as it were. The story delivers exactly what
it sets out to do--excite, titillate, satiate.

It nabs a biblical 4 kisses from me!

Cream:

These lovers tend and nurture each other like gardeners.  That's nice.
I see bursting vegetables and bustling bees, though nothing like that
is mentioned explicitly; and explicit sex words abound; they tangle
continuously, sinuously, and that's nice, too; and I appreciate the
ending, I really do.  But somehow there's not enough real magic here.
Maybe the lovers are too workman-like. The tangling doesn't grip me
the way it should.  I think it might be that for all the ardor, I
don't really see the devotion.  I don't really see this as this pair's
first coupling.  They know too much of each other.  We know too little
of them.  So I admire a lot in this story, but it doesn't quite
satisfy me.

Well, I see we disagree on this story. C'est la vie. Yes, the couple
know a lot about one another, they've been together sense the dawn of
man, but until now, they hadn't known one another in the biblical
sense. So you pose the question then, Cream, does knowing someone in
every way, save one, give you an insight into how to make love with
them? I think it does, if only a little. But I suppose you're right,
the first coupling *ever* tends to lend itself towards uncertainty.
But you also say, we know too little of them. We know everything about
them, don't we? They're THE couple. But enough about them, I do sort
of miss the snake.
