And the closer you grow
The shared smiles and excitement
Make you inwardly glow

The cute little smile
The swell of a breast,
You treasure the pictures
They make you feel blessed

Don't you believe it,
It's all in your mind

The dreams that you have
Of a friend far away
The chats that you have
That brighten your day

Don't you believe it,
It's all in your mind

You imagine your life
Will be like this forever
You feel with your heart
That you're chained together

Don't you believe it,
It's all in your mind

You feel that you're loved
You've been friends a long while
When she is around
You can't help but smile

Don't you believe it,
It's all in your mind

She's always there for you
When life is too hard
You tell her about everything
And completely drop your guard

And then comes the day
When she breaks you apart
Shreds your emotions
