It was half an hour after sunup when Jack woke. Normally he was up
before the sun rose and out for the days work but today was
different. He opened his eyes and looked to his right. There was
Saydor looking back at him with a wide grin.
""Good morning Jack. You slept well didn't you.""
"Yes I did thanks. I normally don't sleep in this late though. But I
suppose that being so comfortable and in the presence of one I love
does that."
Jack smiled. He used to have problems waking up with Linda and had
to eventually buy an alarm clock to make sure he got up. It had
surprised to him that when he had been single he had no problems
getting up but as soon as Linda had moved in he would constantly
over sleep.
Jack leaned over and placed a kiss fairly on the tip of Saydor's
nose. Saydor responded by nibbling at Jack's ear while Jack gave him
a firm rub.
"Come on Saydor lets surprise the other two love birds and make
breakfast."
Jack climbed to his feet and walked quietly to the kitchen. Saydor
shifted his weight and climbed to his feet also. Although his hooves
made a bit more noise on the floor he was able to reduce the noise
by treading carefully and staying to the rugs on the floor.
Jack put the breakfast on and asked Saydor to wait while he headed
for the barn. He opened the barn door and quickly selected a large
wad of hay and filled a large bucket with a mix of Oats, Barley,
Chaff and Chick peas. He then poured a generous amount of malt over
the top to moisten it down. He had always wondered at the rail on
the front of the counter in the kitchen and now he knew that the
house had once belonged to a Scout team it gave him an idea what it
was for.
He took the Saydor's feed bin and cage and headed back to the house.
He entered the house and put the bin on the rail. It fitted
perfectly. Saydor came forward and took a long smell of the food and
hay and smiled.
"Can you wait until we get the other two up Saydor."
""Yes Jack but I think that you will find that you only need to get
one up."" Thought Saydor smiling.
""Aloree is an early riser too but she is letting Linda sleep for
the moment. Actually she has been awake since before sunrise like
myself. We both decided that we would allow you to sleep in today.""
"Oh. Well thanks for the warning."
As breakfast neared completion Jack got the table laid for himself
and Linda. And put out a large piece of meat for Aloree. Saydor told
him that although wolves liked fresh meat they would eat cold meat
as long at it was not too old. Jack also put down a large bowl of
fresh milk and added a small amount of honey to it. Saydor told him
that Aloree had a real love of honey and this would be a nice
surprise for her.
Jack went to the bedroom door and opened it quietly. There was
Aloree lying on the bed starring at him. Close against her was his
naked wife. Jack smiled at Aloree as he walked quietly up to the bed
and bent over Linda.
Jack kissed Linda gently on the lips. Almost immediately had the
kiss returned. Suddenly he was wrapped in Linda's arms and pulled
close as the kiss continued. Jack loved the way that Linda could be
aggressive in a kiss and held her tightly in return.
After a few moments they broke and Linda smiled lovingly at him.
"Thought that you would surprise me didn't you. Well I hope I
surprised you instead"
Linda smiled and Jack realised that Linda had actually been awake
all along.
Linda had been awake a little earlier than Jack and had seen Jack
asleep with Saydor. She had left him there and had told Saydor to
let Jack think that she was still fast asleep.
Linda and Jack embraced again and shared a long passionate kiss
while Aloree and Saydor looked on smiling.
After Breakfast Jack and Linda packed some supplies into their
backpacks and came out to join their Saydor and Aloree where they
were waiting in front of the house.
Jack had made arrangements for the property to be minded while he
was away. His employer had also been informed of the situation and
had given an extended leave until other arrangements could be made.
Jack locked the door and places the key in his top pocket and walked
down to where Linda, Aloree and Saydor were.
"So this is it then." he said. "Now the new journey starts."
Jack placed his hand on Saydor's back and rubbed.
"Lets get going."
Saydor and Aloree lead Jack and Linda towards the forest covering
the nearby hills and the mountains beyond.
After a few hours walk Saydor lead Jack a Linda to a small secure
shed that was well camouflaged. Jack had never seen it before but
then this was area that Jack had not been to often. There Saydor and
Aloree collected some packs with supplies that had been left for
them for the journey.
Jack helped put Saydor's pack on but did not bother with the small
riding saddle that was also there. Jack knew that for this journey
he would not be riding much since Linda would be walking with
Aloree. Since he and Linda knew how to ride bareback a saddle would
only have stopped both of them riding on Saydor if the need arose.
Early afternoon saw them arrive at a large clearing in the forest.
There were many such clearings where grass grew long and wild
flowers bloomed in abundance. They stopped there and decided to have
lunch in the warm sunshine.
Saydor and Aloree lay down in the grass near a small creek while
Jack an Linda unpacked some food that they had prepared earlier and
spread it out.
Jack gave Saydor some carrots and an apple from the pack while Linda
pulled out a small piece of meat that she had packed along with the
supplies for Aloree.
As Jack leaned against Saydor he looked across at Linda lying
beside Aloree stroking her hand through the soft fur and realised
that they looked perfect together. He smiled quietly as he turned
and looked into Saydor's face.
"I didn't think that life could be this perfect." he said.
"I would have never believed this possible just a few days ago. I
have always had dreams about living in a perfect loving world but I
thought that it would never come to me.
"Now I see that although the world is still not perfect or loving my
live has made a huge bound toward being that way."
Saydor smiled warmly and leaned forward to kiss Jack gently.
Kissed back and ran his hand gently down Saydor's warm body several
times.
"This is so perfect." Jack said.
There is something I have always wanted to do ever since I saw you."
Jack climbed to his feet and started to take off his clothes.
As soon as Jack was bare and he moved to Saydor and removed his
pack, leaving it lying on the ground.
Saydor smiled and got to his feet.
""Lets go Jack.""
Jack vaulted onto Saydor's back and lightly entwined his fingers in
his mane while he clung firmly with his legs.
It felt so good to be this close to Saydor with nothing separating
him from his love.
Saydor leapt briskly forward into a canter and then a gallop.
They sped through the long grass in the clearing with Jack feeling
the closeness of his strong powerful lover beneath him.
Linda and Aloree watched as Jack and Saydor sped away across the
clearing.
"That looks like fun. Lets relax and have some fun too" said Linda
Linda stood and undressed quickly.
Soon the clearing was filled with joyous laughter as she was ran
around with Aloree playing at trying to catch her.
Occasionally Aloree would allow her and they would fall down
together and tussle gently with each other in the long soft grass.
Then Aloree would chase after Linda and the fun would begin all over
again.
Linda found to her surprise that Aloree was ticklish in several
spots and she delighted in playfully teasing Aloree once and a
while.
As the afternoon continued the two couples continued to play
together. Saydor and Jack came back and joined in the game of tag
and they all enjoyed themselves.
Linda went for a ride on Saydor across the wide clearing while Jack
had a playful wrestling match with Aloree.
By the end of the afternoon all of them were tired but extremely
happy. They decided to stay in the clearing and continue on in the
morning. The day had been a warm one the night would be warm too.
They spend the evening holding each other and sharing their feelings
of happiness at being together. They all cuddled together and shared
each others warmth.
As Jack and Linda dozed against Saydor with Aloree between them they
realised that no matter what happened they would all be happy
together.
The moon rose and cast its soft light down upon the four sleeping
lovers in the clearing below.
The watchers watched and smiled.
