[ part 17 ]

It had been a fun day Wendy loved fossil hunting and the trip to the old limestone quarry had been a dream come true. Normaly they do not take children as young as her but she had shown a real interrest and had managed to learn a lot fron watching shows on the science channel so she was allowed to come along. Wendy proved to be a rather efficiant fossel hunter though she frightened the people in charge though with her panchant for climbing up the cliff face and then worming her way into fissures in the face of it she manage to find two complete trilobite fossels wich was unusual since normaly the group was lucky to find one in the well picked over floor of the quarry. Afte a long day of searching the party left as the sun started to get low in the sky there had been about 20 people in all in five differant vehicles. She had latched onto 10 year old Jacob Wilson who liked the littlle girl even though she was half his age he admired the fact that she was totaly fearless. So she rode with him along with his mother and aunt.in a Ford Explorer. They were the last to leave. As they drove down the gravel road out of the quarry area the adults rode in the front and the kids in the back seat. As they drove out the women were talking about the days hunt when a deer suddenly ran across the road. Mrs. Wilson reflexidly hit the brakes and turned the wheel sharply to the right. The big SUV skidded on the loose gravel and next thing they knew it was careaning down a steep incline tumbling end over end as it crashed through the trees. When it finaly caame to a rest the passenger compartment had been penetrated by a number of broken tree limbs. The situation inside the truck was not good both of the women in the front seat had been sevearly injured and were unconscious the kids were not much better off. Jacob was pinned in by tree limbs and his right thigh bone was shattered. Wendy's had her left upper arm bone broken in three places. It was clear that someb ody had to get help...and fast. There was a coil of rope in the back that had been brought to lift stuff down the cliff to the floor of the quarry. Wendy put her left hand in her mouth to hold her arm up while she reached for the rope. She knew that she was the only one that could get out but something had to be done with her broken arm, so she got the rope and turned to Jacob.

"I need you to tie my arm to my belly so it does not flop around it's broke and I can not keep it still."

The boy winced against the pain.

"I do not know if I can."

"Sure you can."

Wendy hands him the rope and tells him.

"I know how to tie people up just do what I tell you take the rope put the ends together and pull it through your hand until you get it down to a loop."

Jacob pulls the rope through un till he has it doubled over.

"O.K. now what?"

Wendy holds her broken arm up with her good hand.

"Lay the loop over my arm and pull the rest of the rope though the loop under my arm."

Jacob does as she tells him to.

"Now what?"

Wendy turns so he can reach behind her.

"Pull it around my back and loop it around my wrist and pull it tight."

It takes some work but he manages to bring the rope around and loop it around Wendy's wrist and pulls it tight until her arm is pressed hard into her belly.he then brings it up over her left shoulder pulling it tight then he takes it around her back again threads it around her arm below the elbow and around to her back again looping it around over her right shoulder and ties it off when he is finished her arm is tied tightly to her belly and cannot move. Wendy reaches over around his neck pulls him to her and kisses him.

"Thanks You would make a good master wish me luck."

Wendy pulls herself out the window and slowly slips down to the ground. Jacob calls after her.

"Good luck."

"Thanks. I have something special for you later."

Jacob sits back and wonders what she meant by the good master remark he looks at his watch 7:38. Wendy climbs up ther steep incline struggling with only one arm she finaly makes it to the top and looks around and notices that it is hard to see where they went down looking for something to mark the spot seeing nothing she looks down at her bright orange pants. She struggles out of them and pulls them down over a broken branch. She looks at them and is satisfied that they can be easily seen looks up the road in the direction they had been going and starts to run. Her shattered arm bounces with each step and while Jacob has her lower arm tied so it does not move the pieces of broken bone in her upper arm are moving around with every move. Wendy ignores the pain and just keeps running she knows that if she is too slow Mrs. Wilson and her sister will die so she presses on. The Barkers were sitting on their front porch watching the world go by as they had for years since he retired. The scenery was beautiful and it was quite peaceful they sat watching the wild life and sipping their iced teas when they notice a small child running up the old quarry road. They are somewhat concerned since they know that there are no children living nearby. As the child aproaches they can see that she has only one arm swinging at first they think she is wearing light pink pants untill she get closer and they realize that she has no pants on and they also notice that her left arm is tied to her belly as she gets closer they can see that her upper arm is badly swollen and bruised Wendy finaly stumbles up the porch steps panting heavily.

*pant* "Need help" *pant* "Accident people hurt" *pant* "Need help or they will die!"

They look at the girl she is dirty and dissheveled with no pants and only a thong dispite that she is sweating heavily. Mrs. Barker gets the phone and dials 911 At 8:13 the call is answered.

"911 What is your emergancy?"

"I got this little girl here she just ran up my driveway talking about some kind of accident. Honey where are your pants.?"

"I tied them to a tree by where we went off the road so we can find them agian."

"She says that the car she was riding in went off the old quarry road."

"Is there anybody hurt?"

"She says that there is I'll give her the phone."

Mrs. Barker hands the phone to Wendy. She takes the phone.

"My name is Wendy We need help the car we were in went off the road after a deer ran across the road. Mrs. Wilson and her sister are hurt real bad if we do not help them they will die Jacob is hurt too."

"Are you hurt Wendy?"

"Only a little bit please hurry."

"O.K. help is on the way How old are you?"

"Five."

"You sound very brave where are you hurt?"

"My arm is broken. Please hurry they need help bad. They are hurt realy bad."

"O.K. Wendy the ambulance will be there soon."

"Good O.K. Bye now."

Wendy hands the phone back to Mrs. Barker. Mrs. Barker gets a towel and wraps it around Wendy's waist.

"We can't have you walking aroung half naked can we dearie."

"Why not?"

"It's not decent. Would you like some iced tea?"

"Yes I would thank you."

At 8:30 the ambulance and fire trucks arrive.Wendy jumps up and runs to the ambulance losing the towel in the proccess she grabs the handle to the passenger side door and pulls it open and starts to climb in.

"Come on we gots to hurry lets go."

"O.K. kid let's look at this arm first."

Wendy slaps his hand away

"NO! we got to go NOW! They will die if we don't help them!!"

"EMT Kevin O''Riely had seen a lot of amazing things but this child was something else he could tell her arm was badly broken by all rights she should be in shock from the pain but yet her she was refusing aid until her friends were helped.

"O.K. kid you win climb in."

Wendy clambers in.

"Go down that road and look for my pants they are orange I hung them on a tree so we could find the place."

"O.K,. KIid let me strap you in."

Kevin buckles Wendy into the center of the seat and the ambulance pulls away.

'Whats your name kid?"

"Wendy please hurry."

"O.K. Wendy we will get there soon"

The ambulance drives down the road sirens blaring after a few minutes with out seeing the orange pants the EMTs are worried they might have passed the spot.

"Wendy you see it yet?"

"No it's farther down."

More time goes on and still no orange pants.

"Wendy you see the spot yet?"

"No it's still farther down."

"You sure we have gone over a mile."

"Still farther."

Finaly after they have driven 1.8 miles Wendy pipes up.

"Look there they are!"

Sure enough they see Wendy's pants hanging from a tree the only clue that the SUV is there The Ambulance comes to a stop and the firetrucks are behind it. Kevin climbs out the door and the other firemen climb out of their trucks. Wendy bounces out and starts yelling for Jacob. Jacob hears her and yells back. She starts to climb down the hill when Kevin grabs her.

"Hold it kid you stay up here we can handle it you have done enough already Wendy O.K.?"

"Yeah I guess so."

"O.K. kid lets look at that arm."

"NO! help them first!"

She slaps his hand away and points down the hill. Kevin looks down the hill and can barely make out the SUV down at the bottom. He turns to Wendy.

"O.K. kid I'm going to get my gear and go down to help them You stay here in the back."

Kevin takes Wendy around to the back of the ambulance and lifts her up and places her on the stretcher then gets his medical bag and heads down the hill. Using chainsaws and the "Jaws of Life" it takes about 45 minutes to extract the rest of the victums The women are in rough shape the rescuers had barely gotten there in time. Jacobs right thigh bone had been badly shattered and his thigh had been badly lacerated there had been some blood loss but for all that Jacob was in good shape and was conscious. A Life Flight Helecopter was dispatched to pick-up the victums. After the women were loaded onto the chopper the two kids being less seriously injured were taken by ambulance. As Jacob was loaded he called over to Wendy.

"Good to see you."

Wendy leans over and kisses him.

"Good to see you too. I was worried about you."

Kevin tosses Wendy her pants and climbs in. He starts to examine Wendy who finaly lets him do so. He is impressed by the job Jacob had done immoblizing her arm.examining her he decides that it would be better to leave the arm as is until they arrive at the hospital. Kevin has Wendy lay down on a stretcher and straps her down for transport.He comments to Jacob.

"You did a good job imobilizing Wendy's arm."

"Thanks Wendy got the rope and told me how to start it."

"Yeah but you did the work. You will make a good master."

Kevin is a little puzzled by Wendy's master comment but lets it slide.

"So about how long were you there?"

Jacob looks at his watch.

"Well Wendy left at 7:38 and it's 9:30 now so about 3 hours."

Kevin does a quick head calculation the call came in at 8:13 that means that Wendy had run almost two miles in barely half an hour with a severly broken arm.

"You sure about the time? if youi are correct that means Wendy ran almost two miles in half an hour!"

"Yes I'm sure."

Wendy pipes up.

"I had to run all the way, if I did not his mom and aunt would have died...If he had not tied my arm like this I would not have been able to do it!"

She reaches over with her good arm and takes his hand.

"He did just as good as I did."

Jacob blushes. Kevin looks at the two kids in awe. The fact that Jacob was able to tie the ropes around Wendy the way he did dispite the damage to his leg was impressive enough, but the run that Wendy did dispite the badly broken arm was incredable. He looks at the chubby little girl. The pain most have been intense most adults would not have been able to perform such a feat. But as he looked at the chubby little girl he found it astounding that a small child that looked so soft and weak could be so tough and determined was impressive. Wendy looks at Kevin with a tear in her eye.

"You think they are going to be alright?"

"I think so and they have you to thank for that."

"And Jacob too if he had not tied my arm like this it would have flopped around and I would have not been able to run!"

She pulled his hand over and kisses it. She winks and says."

"I have something special for you later."

Wendy's mother is called and told what happened and where the victums are being taken. She immediatly leaves and drives to the hospital to see her daughter. The ambulance takes 20 minutes to arrive at the hospital. When it arrives the med evac chopper had already been there for 15 minutes the doctor that first examined the woman commented that another 15 minutes and they would have been D.O.A.Jacob was examined first since he was more seriously injured and starting to go into shock. Wendy mean while had managed to unbuckle the straps on the stretche and when the doctor arrived to examine her he was shocked to find her walking around the examination room. when the doctor walked in she was looking over a blood pressure machine.

"What's this for?"

Doctor Robert Pierce was somewhat surprised to find that this supposedly seriously injured child was so calm and collected and apparently unfazed over her injury.

"Hi Wendy my name is Dr. Pierce.That is for measuring your blood pressure. Sit down up here and I will show you how it works."

Wendy climbs up on the examining table and Dr. Pierce takes her blood pressure and checks her pulse and finds that dispite her injury they were normal. He has her lay down and carefully cuts off the rope securing her arm to her body. When her arm is loose he carefully straightens it out she winces slightly the Doctor is surprised at the way her upper arm is flopping around especialy since the child is acting like there is not much pain. Any other child and a lot of adults would be sceaming in agony. She is acting like it was hardly hurt at all. Wendy is taken to be X-rayed and wheen the X-rays are developed the doctor is surprised at just how bad the injury was the bone had been broken in three places and the running had dispaced the pieces considerably. Dr. Pierce just stared at the X-rays by all rights this child should be unconscious from the pain the bones had been displaced so badly.this arm was definatly going to need surgery. Dr. Pierce turns to face his young paitent.

"Well Wendy it looks like we are going to have to operate on your arm it's badly broken."

"O.K."

"Your mommy will be here soon. Iwill have to cut this shirt off so I can check your heat and lungs."

"O.K."

Dr. Pierce cuts away the shirt and is surprised to find all the piercings He is shocked that somebody would do something like this to a child. Well they would be dealt with later. He picks up a pair of cutters used to cut wires used for certain bone repairs.Wendy looks at him and cringes.He looks at her and in a soothing voice says.

"Don't worry Wendy I'll cut those nasty rings off."

Wendys reply almost deafens him as she screams.

"NOOO!!!!! LEAVE MY RINGS AND CHAINS ALONE!!!!

She starts kicking at him and slapping with her good arm. Wendy's mom hears her screams just as she come in and runs to where she is.

"Wendy whats wrong!"

*sob* " He's trying to cut my rings off don't let him."

Wendy is in near hysteria. Dr. Pierce steps back puzzled staring at the child. Pierced nipple and double pierced navels are definatly not normal for five year olds. But this child certainly wanted these.He looks at Wendy's mother she says.

"I have given out trying to figure out why she like those piercings so much. She kinda tricked me into letting her have them as a fifth birthday present and seems to realy like them."

Dr. Pierce shakes his head and puts down the cutters.

"O.K. Wendy you win I will not touch your rings."

Wendy slowly relaxes.

"You promise?"

"Yes, I promise the rings stay."

Wendy lays back down Dr. Pierce finishes his examitation, and has Wendy prepped for surgery. The surgery goes smoothly, two hours later Wendy has two stainless steel plates and ten screws in her arm and several dozen staples holding the two incisions closed. The first thing Wendy does when she comes to is check to make sure her jewlery is till there. When she come to her mother is there.

"Well kid you are quite the hero. They are saying that if it were not for the way you ran Mrs. Wilson and Miss Lear would have died."

"I kniow mom that's why I did it they are both nice."

Wendy's mom smiles. Kid logic you got to love it. The orderly arrives to take Wendy to her room where she soon falls asleep since it is midnight. The next morning Victoria comes with Caroline, Susie, and Tracie. Dr. Pierce is just finishing putting the permanant cast on when they arrive. Tracie is first and Wendy calls out.

"Mistress check it out! I got two plates and ten screws in here."

Wendy points at her upper arm.. Dr. Pierce looks at the little girls.

"Mistress?"

Victoria walks in

'You wouldn't understand Doctor...long story"

Dr. Pierce looks at her.

"There are a lot of things about this kid I do not understand. Most people would have gone into shock with an injury like hers, how she managed to even walk is beyond me never mind climbing a hill and running almost two miles in about half an hour. This is one tough kid."

"Yes she is."

Wendy stands up and grabs Caroline by the arm.

"Come on I gots somebody I want you to meet."

Wendy half drags Caroline to Jacobs room.

Jacob is laying on the bed in traction he has a cast from his waist to his ankle. Wendy comes bounding in pulling Caroline along.

"Hi Jacob .This is Carloine she needs a master."

Jacob smiles weakly.

"Hi Wendy, Hi Caroline. What do you mean by master?"

"Caroline needs a master and you are about her age and you can tie ropes real good so she can be your slave and you can be her master."

Jacob looks at the girls puzzled.

"What do you mean by slave and Master?"

Caroline walks up to his bed.

"You tie me up and do things to me."

"What do you mean by things."

Caroline takes Jacobs left hand. and shoves it down the front of her pants and rubs it against her pussy. Jacob blushes. Wendy half climbs up on the bed and kisses him on the mouth and slips him her tounge then slides back to the floor. the girls go to the door

"Bye Jacob see you later Stud."

The girls leave and Jacob lays there trying to figure out what that was all about.

The girls go back to Wendy's room. where her mother is packing Wendy's stuff up.

"Dr. Pierce says you are doing so well that you can go home."

"Cool."

"You know you are famous now I have been getting phone calls all day from reporters about you Jimmy Kimmel wants you on his show tonight."

"Cool!'

"Yes you are quite the hero now."

"I just did what I had to do. Somebody had to get help or Mrs. Wilson and Miss Lear would have died and I was the only one who could so I had to."

"Well you certainly came through for them."

Wendy smiles.

"I just did what I had to."

Wendy's mother helps her get dressed in a light blue tank top with one strap over the left shoulder and a blue denim skirt that comes down just below mid thigh.after that Mrs. O'Brian talks to Dr. Pierce about the restrictions for Wendy mean while Wendy has found the folder with the medical reports and her X-rays and is looking at them with the other girls The pre-surgery shots are quite scary the bone pieces have shifted considerably they other girls look at the mess that was Wendy's upper arm.

"EWW! that looks gross! That had to realy hurt!"

"Nah just a little bit."

Dr. Pierce looks at the little girl and arches his eyebrow and shakes his head. Victoria looks at the after surgery shots and comments.

"I bet all that metal is going to set off aiport metal detectors."

Mrs. O'Brian comments.

"Well we will find that out in a few hours because we are going to Los Angeles to be on the Jimmy Kimmel Show."

Tracie looks at her.

"Wow! Jimmy Kimmel...Whos he?"

"Jimmy Kimmel has a talk show on after midnight."

"Oh. I gotta ask mom If I can stay up and watch it. I got to tell Toby and Diana too."

Victoria looks at her daughter and little sister.

"Yeah you two can stay up with me and watch tonight."

Mrs. O'Brian and Wendy gather up the rest of Wendy's stuff and after signing the many forms that beauracracy demands leave. Wendy insists on walking out under her own power. They are surprised to see that there are a number of reporters and TV news crews waiting for them out side the hospital. Wendy stops to answer all their questions which tales over half an hour, then they finaly get to go home. The other kids are waiting for them. Wendy tells them about the upcoming appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. Darla informs her that she has to babysit Tracie and Toby tonight and they will be able to watch the show. Victoria calls Denise to tell her that Wendy is out of the hospital and will be on TV tonight. Denise tells her that she and Bobby will be watching. Mr. O'Brian gets off work early so he can make the 5:15 flight to L.A. so they can be there in time for the taping. When the arrive at the airport Wendy slowly approaches the metal detecter and starts through... It goes off. Wendy jumps back the Security guard walks up to her. He speaks gently.

"I'm afraid you have to be scanned with a hand wand."

He works it over her body and it sounds when it goes over her upper arm..He smiles at her.

"They had to put somre steel plates in your arm right?"

"Yeah two of them and ten screws."

The News is on on the airport TVs at that point the story about Wendy's heroics comes on.

"Look mommy thats me on TV!"

The Security guard and the people with in earshot of her look up at the screen to see her as she matter of factly describes what she did. Saying that she did it because she had to and that was the way it is. Then they interview Dr. Pierce who describes her injury and expresses amazement ove the fact that she was able to do what she did considering the extent of the damage and the pain she must have been suffering in her run.There are also interviewes with the Barkers who describe Wendy's arrival at there house and with the EMTs who talked about how she was more worried about the people with her than her own injurys and refused aid until the others had been treated first and that the only reason the women were still alive was because of Wendy's courage Finaly there was the interview of Jacob from his hospital bed and he told about how she had him tie her arm to her body so it would not flop around and how she kissed him before she went up the hill and how lonely the wait was and how glad he was when he saw her again.,. Then the "Talking Heads " gush all over about what a wonderfull girl Wendy is. By this time Wendy is blushing beet red. At this point the security guard claps his hands and anounces.

"You people might be interrested that the little girl in that news report is right here."

Wendy blushes even more when everybody breaks into applause and shyly wraps her good arm around her mothers leg and hides behind her.

"I just did what had to be done."

"Well you certainly did honey but not very many people could do what you did."

"I suppose."

After clearing secutiy they board the plane for an uneventfull flight...If you don't count all the people eaking her about what happened and telling her how brave she was and asking for her autograph. Wendy would just smile and painstakingly wrote out her name in the block letters that little kids use right after they first learn how to write there name for the first time. By the time they landed she was a lot less shy about what she had done and accepted that what she did was something special though she still said that it had to bee done and that she was the only one that could and that was that. After they landed at LAX they cleared the baggage quickly since they were only staying overnight they packed light. A limosine was waiting for them and wisked them straight to the studio. Because they arrived close to show time it was decided that she would be the second guest on after a Rapper called Dog Pound. Andy Molanacus was the lead in anouncer that night. After they did her make-up she sat down and talked to Andy while she waited to go on the air she talked to him about the show. Soon the interview with Dog Pound was finished and after a break she was on Andy introduced her.

"And now the littlest hero Wendy O'Brian!"

And Wendy walks out onto the stage she climbs up onto the chair next to Jimmy's desk. She shakes his hand and he gives her a little kiss in the cheek and Dog Pound does the same. Jimmy starts the interview.

"Well Wendy you are quite the hero. I heard the accounts of what you did, running almost two miles with your arm broken in three places to get help that is quite a feat.

Wendy gives a shy smile.

"I just did what needed to be done Mrs. Wilson and Miss lear would have died if I had not done that ...I had to they were counting on me.

The smile disappears from her face.

"I hope they are O.K. I have not heard anything."

"Well Wendy I just heard from the hospital and they are going to recover and they owe their lives to you."

The audiance bursts into thunderous appause and give her a standing ovation Wendy blushes.and quietly says.

"I just did what I had to do ..nobody else could do it so I had to thats all."

Jimmy looks at the little girl.

"You know Wendy when you think of this kind of heroism you think of big strong burly men not a chubby little girl just going into kidergarten."

Wendy looks at him.

"Well the big burly men were not around so it had to be done by a chubby little girl."

Wendy grins and the audiance laughs.Jimmy then anounces.

"Wendy's parents are here too. please give a warm welcome to Sylvia and John O'Brian.the parents of this brave little girl."

They come onto the stage shake hands with Jimmy and Dog Patch and sit down.Jimmy start the discussion.

"Well you must be quite proud of your daughter.

They both nod John speaks first.

"We most certainly are I don't think Wendy understands just how incredable what she did realy was."

"Oh daddy."

"Sylvia you saw her at the hospital first. what was she like then."

"Well uh.."

"Actualy when she got there I was kicking and screaming at the doctor."

Jimmy looks at the little girl.

"Why did you do that?"

'Because he was going to cut off my rings and chains."

Rings and chains?"

"Yeah."

And with that Wendy pulls up her top relealing the peircings on her navel and nipples nad the chains hanging from them.

"I think they are pretty do you Jimmy?"

Jimmy looks at them gulps.

"I guess so."

Her mother blushes a bit and stammers

'She sort of tricked me into letting her have them"

"Now mommy you said I could have them anywhere I wanted ."

"So you had them put there."

"I also got some other ones"

Wendy starts to grab at the hem of her skirt.

"Thats O.K. Wendy we'll take your word for it. So how does she behave at home?"

Wendy's mother answers.

"Wendy is a very well behaved child we olmost never have to disapline her."

"So you do not have to spank her right?"

"Never I have never spanked her."

"I wish you would spank me."

Everybody turns and looks at the girl shocked."

"Why do you say that."

"I like to be spanked it feels good."

Dog Patch looks at Wendy.

"Well if you like to be spanked just lay across my lap and I will *oof!*"

Wendy jumps into his lap before he even finishes lays on her belly and pulls up the back of her skirt. She istill wearing the thong.

"Spank me!"

Dog Patch looks at the litle white ass facing him and gives it a gentile pat.

"What was that supposed to be SPANK me!"

Dog Patch hits her a little harder.

"Come on! What do you call that Tracie hits harder than that and she is only four!"

"Who is Tracie?"

"My mistress and she hits me hard not like your wimpy stuff."

"You calling me a wimp?"

"Yeah.."

Wendy goes into a little sing song.

"Wimpy winmpy wimpy Dog Patch is a Wimpy."

Dog Patch scowls.

"You calling me a wimp Girl?"

"Yeah."

Dog patch winds up and spanks her as hard as he can.

"Hows that you little bitch."

"Yeah thats more like it ..do it again."

"Huh?"

"Yeah hit me some more."

"I'm not sure about that."

"Whats wrong you hurt your little hand on my butt...Wimp."

"O.K. Bitch you asked for it."

And he smacks her again and does it a few more times.

'Hows that Bitch you like that?"

"Yeah I love it hit me some more!"

"O.K. bitch."

Dog Patch starts to smack her bottom repeatedly soon it is bright red and turning purple Everybody is staring too shocked to react until finaly Jimmy speaks up.

"Hey what the hell are you doing to that kid?"

Dog patch stops looks at Wendy's brused butt and pulls down her skirt.

"I...I..don't know what got into me. I..I'm sorry Wendy I don't know what to say."

Wendy flips over a big grin on her face.

"That felt good. Sorry I called you a wimp you're not. Thank you I liked that!"

Wendy reaches up and wraps her good arm around his neck pulls her self up and kisses him on the mouth slipping him her tounge. Dog Patches eyes open wide.

"I don't believe it she just gave me her tounge! I just got the tounge from a five year old!"

Wendy's parents are appologizing all over.

"I don't know what got into her she realy is a good girl I don't know why she is acting like this."
