THE B&D ACADEMY: THE ENROLMENT DAY

Today is the first day of March and it is enrollment day here at the Acadamy.The parking lot is filling with cars as Parents and Guardians bring their children to place them in our care for the next ten months. The children will graduate just before Christmas but will have a two week mid semester break. Their parents will be allowed to take them home and see what they have learned.

Enrollment here at the Academy is limited to only thirty five students each year and although we are a co-ed school the great majority of our students are female. Although this year we do have four male children enrolled. We have a two to three year waiting list for admittance to The Academy and all applicants families are screened and investigated very thourghly.Only a selected few students are admitted each year.

All children accepted to the B&D Academy must be between the ages of 6 and 11 years of age and will be boarded at the Academy for the ten month school year except for the two week break.

All students must be signed in today as classes will start in three days. This gives the staff time to assign quarters and issue uniforms and other items the students will need. Everything the children need is provided by the Academy. Strict rules govern all aspects of school life to include uniforms, hair style and sleeping arrangements.

All parents and or guardians have read and understood the contract which they have signed. Each parent has agreed in writing to all aspects of school policy and classes taught. Each parent has signed a contract stating that their children are virtually the property of The B&D Academy for the complete school year. The Academy has several special event visitors days over the school year and a small number of parents are invited to a one day tour. These visits are Invitation Only and the parents are allowed to watch their children and other students through the special events of the day.

I am sitting in my Private Office with the schools Headmistress Linda, who shares my previsions and assists me in them. I use this office on this one of my favorite days as it sits in the middle of a square of other large rooms. Each of the other rooms are used for all the procurers involved in the enrollment process. This Private office is equipped with multiple large closed circuit TV monitors as everything that takes place in the school is video taped. Many copies of these tapes are given to the parents who request them and many are sold through our overseas video outlets, none are sold in this country due to the laws. I think those laws will be changed as there is more and more demand for them. This office has other features including one way glass on three of its walls. The one way glass looks into the large Sign In Office, the Physical Exam Room and the Shower and Uniform Fitting Room. Other equipment include a specially modified Medical Exam Table, a large upright metal locker with a large supply of play toys and other very useful instruments. Today Linda and I are alone but at times we have several of the schools lovely young female staff members. All the staff members are chosen not only for their addiction to the schools teaching subjects but also for their beauty and great bodies.
