WHEN I WAS TEN

[ part 1 ]

When I was about ten years old my parents made me join scouts because "I wasn't getting out enough". I really didn't want to join but I really had no choice. The first week we talked about the upcomming camping trip. I was actually excited I'd never been camping before.

When we got to the camp ground our groups were assigned tents. We brought our stuff into the tents and unpacked what we needed. We spent the rest of the day swimming in the lake.

After supper we hung out arount the campfire, then went to bed. After lights out some of the kids in my tent stayed up but I was tired and went to sleep. I woke up to one of the leaders yelling at us about "playing" like we were. I just went back to sleep.

The next day was fun we did lots of different activities. After supper we were told to go get ready to sleep (brush our teeth, and pee). Then we were taken straight to our tents we were told to wait outside our tents while the sixers went inside and prepared something for us. When they were done they called us in one at a time, I was first. When I walked in I was grabbed from behind and one of the sixers put their hand over my mouth. They said not to scream , and I would't be hurt. I nodded and they uncovered my mouth. The next thing I know I'm naked with my wrists tied together over my head, and my ancles tied together to the bottem of the bed. One of the sixers put a my sleeping bag over me. They did the same thing to the rest of the kids in the group. Once they were done one of the leaders came in and explained that since we wouldent stop playing with ourselvs and eachother, and since the couldent watch us 24/7 we would be tied like this every night.

The next morning we all woke up at about the same time but we all had to wait a long time to be untied. After we got dressed the day went prettery much the same as the day before. The sleeping arrangements were the same as the previous night. The final day we all packed up to leave. Once we were on the bus we were gone. I enjoyed the ride reading. About an hour into the ride two of the kids in the back were caught playing with eachother. This resulted in a long speech from one of the leaders and then all of us having our hands tied behind our backs and wearing our seat belts as well. That was such a long ride.
