Excellent piece of writing, Quiller! The thrill of the kidnapping, the lack of prepared tools for the same. Everything was perfect!
I have to say that as soon as I realised there was more to the story after her escape, I could tell what was likely to happen, although the way you did it was different to how I would have.
(I was thinking that the little girl could have been a guest at the wedding anyway *winks*)
Regardless of the telegraphed ending, I think it's one of the best pieces of work found here so far. A good example of the thrill of the act, without any barbaric content to cloud the flavour of the story.

Part 1 is a little slow, but it sets the stage very well for Parts 2 & 3. All together, it's a great story and well worth reading to the end.
