This is one of the rare stories (especially kid stories) to feature very strict and creative bondage--far more than is needed for simple helplessness. And despite the overly spectacular nature of the bondage, the story comes off as extremely realistic. "They tied that cord to the ropes around my ankles or knees"--a fiction writer would have specified which, but she couldn't see.

I read this story when it first came out many years ago. It stuck with me so well that I was able to instantly find it again just now with a precise search string.

I'm not a big fan of bondage only stories, but as they go this one was pretty good.
