I am a thirty-something professional, single, but soon to be married. I live somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere (making the bear picture a bit misleading).
I first discovered alt.sex.stories (ASS) back in 1995 and I marvelled at the breadth of ideas and expression that was available. Being a fan, I took to writing my own stories. However, I found that writing good erotic fiction is harder than it seems, much like what they say about writing romance novels.
I write to relieve stress (both work- and sex-related) and also to record some of my own ideas. For a long time I had wondered about how I could disseminate these stories. The answer, of course, was ASSTR. I found this invaluable resource after following the links from some of my favourite stories I got from ASS
As I mentioned in my ASSTR profile, I make no promise of any great originality. Most of the themes have probably been well and truly explored by others in both ASS and ASSTR. However, I do place a reasonable amount of emphasis on developing some semblance of a plot or story, not just jumping right into descriptions of sex.
As with most authors in the ASSTR, I would love to
hear your opinions on the stories I have written.
