Unfortunately “Life’s Lessons” will end here. My co-author, Brit Nerak, seems to have disappeared. Without going into detail, she was going away with a friend and a family member. The friend confided in me and swore me to secrecy. It put me in a rather awkward situation as I maybe should have said something to Brit, but I hold confidences above all else. I opted to trust the friend to handle any situations.

Brit and I had become quite close. I hope she’s OK and nothing has happened. I expect she feels a little betrayed by me. That was never my intent. Maybe some day she’ll contact me and the story will continue. I’d like that for a number of reasons…
