The First Date

Six thirty came fast as I was getting ready at Joanie’s.  She was going to drive me to the store and drop me off, and then use my car to go into the city and do some shopping.  I walked out of the bathroom and into her bedroom and she whistled at me.

“Damn Sammi wish I were going out with you and not him!”  She laughed.  I was wearing a straight tight white skirt that ended right above my knees, a white sweater with white roses embroidered into the top, and it was a v-neck.  I must admit I have great breasts.  They’re 36c, they’re nice and perky and v-necks make me look good.  I wasn’t wearing pantyhose, my legs are tanned and I didn’t need them.  I smiled at Joanie.

“Well, if this guy turns out to be an asshole I will go out with you next!”  I laughed.  In typical teenage fashion, she and I have experimented with each other sexually and we really liked it.  But it was just as friends.

“You have such gorgeous hair Sammi.  Let it down, he’ll like that.”  I nodded, and released my ponytail.  I had long blonde hair, with lighter blonde highlights.  “Blah, how come you get blue eyes and blonde hair and all I get is brown mousy hair and brown eyes?”  I sat beside her on the bed and threw an arm around her.

“You’re beautiful, Joanie,” I whispered.  “I’m made out to be some dumb blonde, you’re not.”  She smiled and kissed me, deeply and with feeling.  A few guys have kissed me and so far, she’s the best kisser.  I kissed her back for a few moments, and then pulled away.  “I’m sorry.  But we need to go.”

“Yeah.”  We both got up, and walked out of her room to the downstairs.

Joanie was my first sexual experience, my only one so far, and I will never forget it as long as I live.  We were both sixteen at the time, and I was spending the night with her after a day of being knocked around by my dad.  We were both cuddled against each other in her twin bed, and honestly out of nowhere, she kissed my lips.  I looked at her in surprise, and she told me she was sorry.  I shook my head and kissed her, taking her by surprise.  We honestly didn’t talk as we kissed more, and explored each other’s bodies with our hands.  I think we were afraid whatever spell we were under would be broken if we did.  The only time we did make any sound was when moans would escape our lips as we fingered each other.  That was the first time I had wanted someone to touch me like that, and we fingered each other to a few orgasms.  Later on, we just lied in each other’s arms and kissed then fell asleep.  We do that now when I spend the night with her.  I knew this weekend would be no exception.

She quietly drove me to the record store; we got there a few minutes before seven and I spotted David standing in front of the store.  I told Joanie goodbye, got out of the car, and walked over to him.

“Hey stranger,” I smiled.  He turned and looked at me, and broke out in a grin.

“Wow, you look great!”  He exclaimed.

“So do you,” I replied truthfully.  He did.  He had on jeans, but a nice white button down shirt.  We matched both of us in white.

“Great minds think alike huh?”  He asked.  “The white?”

          “Yeah,” I smiled.  “You ready?”

“Sure am,” he said.  “Oh I got you something.”  He handed me a white rose, and I melted.  I love roses of any kind, but the white ones are gorgeous.

“Thank you David, it’s beautiful,” I smiled as I took it.

“Nothing compared to you,” he grinned as he took my free hand.  “My car’s over here.”  We walked hand in hand to his car, a nice black Corsica, and my heart was soaring again.  His hand was much bigger than mine was, I noticed.  Of course, he was a good four inches taller than I was; he just seemed huge to me.  He unlocked the passenger side and opened the door for me, and I grinned.

“You’re working hard for that goodnight kiss,” I teased as I got in the car.  He blushed and closed the door, and was soon sitting beside me.  He smiled as he started the car, and I was just melting into the seat.

“You ready for the movie?”  He asked.  He still had a slight blush in his cheeks.

“You bet,” I smiled at him.  “You’re the adorable one when you blush,” I teased.  He laughed and pulled out the parking spot, and then we were on our way.

We made small talk on the drive to the movie theatre.  Just basically telling each other what our last names were.  The theatre was just right around the corner so we didn’t talk long.

After the movie, we drove to Applebee’s.  It was a ways from the theatre and we talked.  I skirted around any questions he had about my family and he figured it out and stopped asking about that.  We talked about work, mostly his job.  He was a mechanic, worked with this huge company and every now and then they sent him out of town to other states where they had offices to do some routine work and check ups.

“I hate leaving my cat alone,” he said, “I worry so much about her.”

“That’s so sweet David.  Maybe you should ask someone to come by and feed her and stuff,” I suggested.  “What’s her name?”

“I should,” he said as we pulled into Applebee’s.  “Her name’s Ms. Kitty.”  He shut the car off and I giggled.  “My mom named her, and then gave her to me.  I couldn’t change her name, my mom would be so hurt!”

“No it’s cute, really,” I said suppressing my laughter.  We looked at each other and we both busted out laughing.

“It’s a corny name,” he laughed.

“Just a little!”  I grinned.  “But it’s sweet.  Your mom sounds great.”  We were silent for a minute and just stared in each other’s eyes.  I wanted to do nothing more than lean over and kiss him.  He had this aura around him; he was so incredibly sexy and nice, and seemed so trustworthy.

“We, uh, better go in huh?”  He asked softly.  I nodded at him.  He leaned over and I thought he was going to kiss me but he opened my door.  He smiled at me as he did, and I gave him a kiss on the cheek.  He leaned in and kissed me softly on the mouth, but before I could kiss him back, he pulled away, sat back in his seat, and stared out the windshield.  “I am so sorry Samantha.  I shouldn’t have done that.”

“I started it.  You were right there and I just had to kiss you,” I said softly.  He turned and looked at me.

“I felt the same,” he said quietly.  “I just don’t want to feel like I’m taking advantage or anything.”

“The age thing again?”  I asked.  He nodded.  “I promise, I won’t let you do anything I don’t want you to do.  Ok?”

          “Yeah,” he nodded.

“David, if you want me to go to dinner with you, you better finish that kiss,” I grinned.  He laughed and leaned toward me, and I met him halfway.  We kissed, god did we kiss.  It was a short one, but that boy left me wet between the legs and tingling in my toes.  He could kiss, and it was so much better than Joanie.  We parted a little, our faces still close to each other, and we both smiled.

“Wow,” he whispered.  He blushed and pulled away, still smiling at me.

“Yeah,” I grinned.  “See, now we got that out of the way, and we won’t have to worry if we’ll be getting a goodnight kiss.”  He looked at me in wonder.

“You’re something else,” he grinned.  “C’mon, let’s go eat.”  I nodded and got out of the car, and joined him at the drivers’ side.  He took my hand again and we walked to the restaurant.

We made some light conversation while we waited for our food to arrive.  He found out that I’m a huge Matt Damon fan and matchbox20 junkie.  I found out that he loves scary movies and was an Internet junkie.

“Have you met any interesting people on there?”  I asked.  He nodded.  “Ever met any of them like in real life?”

“One.  Turned out to be a man acting like a woman,” he said softly.  “I didn’t even know, ya know?”

“Well, you don’t have to worry about me, David.”  He looked at me quizzically.  “I’m not a man acting like a woman,” I said seriously.  He started laughing and lit up a cigarette.

“I hope to god not.  I’d hate to think that a man is turning me on like this!”  I grinned so big, and his face turned red.  “I’m sorry,” he said.  “I don’t want you to think I’m going out with you because you’re stunning.”  I didn’t get a chance to answer; the waitress came with our dinners.  She left and we just silently stared at each other for a moment.

“You really think I’m stunning?”  I asked.  He nodded.  “Wow.”

“I’m sorry.  This isn’t a good idea.  You’re seventeen, and I know you’re going to be eighteen next month, but I am so attracted to you and I don’t want to break any laws.”

“This is a first,” I sighed.  “I’ve never been dumped in the middle of the date.”  I started to get up, I wanted to run out of there and cry.  He grabbed my hand and wouldn’t let go, so I sat back down.

“Samantha wait.  I’m not dumping you, not at all.  I want to keep seeing you, and I hope you want to see me too.”  I nodded.  “You want to see me again?”

          “Yes, I do.”

“Good.  I really like you and I just want to lay down some rules so we won’t get hurt ok?”

          “Like what?”

“Like, as attracted we are to each other we shouldn’t go beyond kissing.  I mean, if it gets to that.”  He looked at me sheepishly.  “Because in the theatre, I know that was your hand on my thigh.”

“It was dark, I thought it was my thigh,” I smiled.  I was busted.

“If you touch yourself like that…” he trailed off.  I giggled and took a sip of my drink.  “I know you’re not the dumb blonde you’re trying to act like Samantha.  I have enjoyed this evening with you, and I want to go out with you again.”

“I thought all guys liked the dumb blonde routine,” I said quietly.  I honestly hadn’t realized that I was acting like that it had become such a habit.

“Maybe high school guys, but I like a girl that I can have a conversation with.  You seem to me to be really smart,” he said.

“Most guys are turned off that I’m a brain.  I have a 4.0 in school, straight A’s in my classes, all that.  It doesn’t bother you?”

“No!”  He laughed.  “I want you to be yourself with me.  I’m being myself with you.”  I shook my head and took another drink.  “This is the most serious first date I’ve been on,” he smiled.

“Me too.  Usually by now I’m being groped and told to give it up.”  He gave me a saddened look.  “What can I say?  They’re all seventeen- and eighteen-year-olds who just want a piece of the brain so maybe she’ll do their homework.”

“I’m sorry,” he said.  “Give me their names I’ll kick their ass for you.”  It took me a minute to figure out he wasn’t joking.

“Nah don’t worry about it.  I don’t give it up that easily.”  We both laughed, I don’t know why, and then started eating.  The rest of the dinner, we just cracked jokes and had a good time.  When we finished dinner, he lit up a cigarette as we waited for the waitress.  “Can I have one of those?”  I asked, motioning to his cigarette.

“You’re too young,” he grinned as he handed me one.  We leaned across the table and he lit it for me, then we both sat back.

“When would you like to go out again?”  I asked softly.

“Tomorrow night,” he smiled.  “But I gotta get up early Sunday and drive to Georgia.  I’ll get home Wednesday morning.”  I know the disappointment showed on my face.  “Can I ask you something I wouldn’t normally ask someone on the first date?”

          “What’s that?”

“Will you feed my cat while I’m gone?”  I smiled at him and took a drag from my cigarette.

“You trust me to do that?”  I asked.

“Yeah sure.  Besides, all I have of value is the cat, a CD player and a computer.  And I’m sure that you have all that,” he smiled.  “Otherwise I’m going to have to leave out three huge bowls of food that will dry up before Ms. Kitty gets around to eating them.”

“Ok,” I smiled.  “I can’t wait to see this cat that has you so in love with her.”  He just grinned and paid the waitress, who had shown up when I was talking.  We left the restaurant hand in hand, and once again, he opened my door for me.  I smiled as he got in the car, thinking this was the weirdest date I had been on.  I loved it, though.

“So, we have to go to my place so I can give you my extra key.  Is that ok?”  I leaned back in the seat and grinned at him.

“Yes, David,” I said.  “I know you won’t try anything, I’m safe with you.”  He smiled back.  “Plus I need to see where you live, and meet Ms. Kitty.  She’ll need to get used to me.”  He nodded and started his car, and we were off.

He lived across town from Joanie and I.  He literally lived across the tracks from me.  It was a nice apartment building, he lived on the third floor and pretty much had the floor to himself.  There were two apartments on his floor and he occupied one.  He might not have lived in the rich neighborhood where I did but he had a kick ass place and I knew it had to be expensive.  Money didn’t matter to me, but it’s always a nice thing to have.  He led me inside and immediately Ms. Kitty came out of nowhere and jumped up at him.  She was a gorgeous white cat, not very big, and David caught her.

“She does that everytime I walk in the door,” he smiled.  I followed him deeper inside and sat on the couch with him.  Ms. Kitty was a nice cat; she liked me from the start and was very loving.  David and I were sitting very closely on his couch and I could smell his cologne, Allure, and it was working.  I was enticed by it, by him.  I leaned my head on his shoulder as we talked and petted his cat and inhaled deeply.  I let out a soft sigh and smiled.  “You getting comfortable Samantha?”  There wasn’t any aggravation in his voice, he actually sounded pleased.

“As a matter of fact, yes,” I said.  He moved his arm and put it around my shoulder.  I watched Ms. Kitty as she jumped off his lap; there was a noticeable bulge in his jeans.  “Can I be honest with you?  This is like the weirdest date I’ve had.  I feel so safe with you and I feel like I’ve known you all my life.”

“Yeah I get that feeling too.  Maybe we were together in a past life,” he said quietly.  I looked up at him and our faces were inches from each other.

“Maybe we were David.”  We both smiled.  “I can honestly say I haven’t felt like this before and I just met you.”

“Don’t,” he whispered as I played with a button on his shirt.

          “Don’t what?”  I asked softly.

“Don’t make me want to make love to you more than I do right now.”  He looked completely sincere.  “That wouldn’t be a good thing.  I mean it would be a great thing,” he smiled, “but like you said we just met and I want more than that.”

“Ok,” I whispered leaning up and kissing his cheek.  “You do know that I want more too, right?”

“I hope you do,” he grinned.  I nodded.  “Good,” he whispered.  He leaned down slightly and kissed me, and I kissed him back, grabbing his shirt.  Our tongues played with each other and I couldn’t help but think how perfect this was, that maybe we were together in a past life.  Our kiss felt perfect, like our mouths were made for each other.  I felt his hand on me, rubbing my knee under my skirt and my hand instinctively fell to his crotch.  He was hard, and he moaned into my mouth as I gently caressed him through his jeans.  I could tell he was big just by touching him through his jeans.  After a few minutes of kissing, he pulled back from me, but kept me in his arms.  “Please,” he whispered, grabbing my hand and it pulling it from him.

“I’m sorry,” I said.  “I did that to you?”

“God yes and I have the feeling this won’t be the last time.”  We stared at each other; I’d never seen such passion in someone’s eyes.  “It’s a good thing.  It’s been awhile since a girl’s turned me on.”

“I feel honored,” I grinned.  “Can I tell you the truth?”  He nodded.  “You’re the only guy that’s ever turned me on.”  He got a huge shit-eating grin on his face.  “Maybe we should go before we end up doing something we both want but wouldn’t be advisable?”

“Yeah we better.  A few more minutes of your hands on me and I’m going to lose my self control.”  We laughed and I stood up, him following suit.  “I’ll go get that extra key.”  I nodded and he trotted to a door and disappeared.

I took a good look at the place then.  He had a small television set on a little table in the farthest corner of the room, and he had a CD player on another table.  He had two CD towers full of CD’s up against the wall.  He only had a couch and a recliner, they didn’t match but it made the place look homey.  There were only three other doors I noticed, I guessed to his bedroom, a bathroom, and maybe a guestroom.  The kitchen was near the front door, right to the left and there was only a bar like structure separating it from the living room.  I walked over to his CD towers and started reading the titles.  As he came back into the room, I noticed he had two copies of that live Counting Crows CD.

“You ready?”  He asked as he walked over to me.

“No, you have to show me where the cat food is,” I said, looking at him and smiling.

“Oh yeah,” he grinned.  We walked to the kitchen and showed me which cabinet had the cat food.  “Come in at least once a day and give her two cans, she’ll be set.”

“Got it.”  I walked out of the kitchen, turned, and looked at him.  “Can I have the number to where you’re going to be?  Just in case?”

“Yeah, of course.”  He got his wallet from his back pocket and dug out a card.  “This is my business card.  My home and cell number is on there.”  He handed it to me and I read it.

“David Evans, distinguished mechanic,” I grinned.

“It doesn’t say that,” he blushed.  “C’mon, I need to get you home.”  He took my hand and we left his apartment.  It wasn’t until we were in his car that I told him he wasn’t taking me home.  “Where am I taking you then?”

“My best friend Joanie’s.  I’m staying with her this weekend,” I said quietly.  My father’s words rang in my ears.  “I won’t be going home until Monday.”  I gave him the directions and stared out the window.

“Sleepover huh?”  He asked.  I looked at him and he was grinning.

“Oh yeah.  You know how us girls are.  We’ll do nothing but eat each other out all weekend.”  He started laughing, and I giggled.  Little did he know that was what would happen.

“Wish I could be there for that!”  He laughed.

“Yeah I bet you would, you man!”  We laughed all the way to Joanie’s.  He once again opened the door for me and then he walked me to Joanie’s door.

“Samantha I had a wonderful time,” he said as we looked at each other.

“As did I, David,” I smiled.  “And since you got your goodnight kiss earlier, goodnight.”  I turned to the door and he grabbed my arm softly.  I grinned at him.  “What?”

“Just one more kiss before I have to go to Georgia and not be able to see you for a few days,” he pouted.

“I was just teasing, David,” I giggled.  I pulled him into my arms and then we were in each other’s arms kissing just as passionately as we had in his apartment.  I felt my nipples get hard and I felt him get harder against me.  “David,” I breathed, pulling away from him.  “Think about me tonight when you’re taking care of that.”  He didn’t ask what I was talking about; he just blushed and kissed my cheek.

“I think we connected,” he smiled.

“We did.  I’ll call you Monday, ok?”  He nodded, and waited until I was in the door before he left the porch.  He turned and looked at me as I was watching him through the screen door.

“Sweet dreams Sammi,” he smiled.  “I know I’ll have some.”  Then he turned and walked back to his car.  I watched him drive off, and then I closed and locked the door and went upstairs to Joanie’s room.  Her parents were the only people that believed my dad hit me, so they knew that sometimes I would come in late and they never questioned me.  I slipped into Joanie’s room and quietly undressed, slipping into bed with her with nothing but my panties on.

“Hey Samantha,” she whispered.  We moved around so we were lying on our sides facing each other.  “How did it go?”

“It was weird.  But we’re seeing each other again.  I really like him, and he likes me too.”

“I’m happy for you,” she said softly.  “Does that mean we can’t - ?”

“Joanie, we’re friends you and me, nothing will change that.”  I realized then that she might get jealous.  “Please don’t be jealous.”

“I’m not.”  She slipped her hand in my panties and felt how wet I was.  “He turned you on and didn’t satisfy you?”

“We wanted to, but we’re waiting.”  She wiggled a finger against my clit and I moaned.

“Then let me take care of that,” she whispered.  “You’re so hot tonight, Sammi,” she whispered as she leaned down to kiss my neck.  I moved and lay on my back as she pulled her hand out of my panties and then pulled them down.  She spread my legs and crawled between them.  “I know you love foreplay, but I think you need to cum in the worst way.”  I had my eyes closed and arched my back as she ran her tongue down my stomach then to my most private area.  Her tongue licked softly at my lips, which I had just shaven the night before and I went to heaven.  I arched against her again and felt her lick my slit its entire length.

“Joanie,” I moaned softly.  She wasted no time in burying her tongue inside me, really moving it fast inside me.  I grabbed her head and was lost in all the feelings I was having.  I imagined it was David in between my legs, licking and sucking on me, placing his fingers inside me and pumping.  I came harder than ever while I fantasized about him.  Joanie licked me clean, then sat up between my legs and looked at me.

          “You said David,” she whispered.

“What?”  I asked, panting.  She lay down beside me.

“You said David’s name, not mine,” she whispered.  I gasped and put my hand over my mouth.

“I am so sorry Joanie, I really am,” I whispered.

“No, it’s ok.  You really like him I can tell.  You’ve never liked a guy before, I’m not used to it.”  I nodded at her.  “Let’s go to sleep,” she whispered.  She didn’t wait for an answer; she turned over and laid on her other side, putting her back to me.  I moved closer to her and spooned her, and we fell asleep.

I woke up that morning alone.  Joanie was already up and didn't bother waking me.  I dressed quickly, and got all my clothes together then walked downstairs.  After last night, I didn’t think I’d be welcome anymore.  I couldn’t believe that I had said David’s name, I felt so embarrassed.  Joanie was sitting in the living room watching TV and just looked at me when I stood in the doorway.

“Can I stay tonight Joanie?  My dad… well yesterday before I came over he said…” I trailed off and stared at the floor.

“Yes you can stay silly,” she said.  I looked at her and she smiled.  “Don’t worry about last night, it’s ok.”  I nodded.
