Preface

A few people have written and asked me for more background on this series and myself. So for better or for worse, here's a little bit about me and what I call my condition.

Whenever I talk about being a submissive, most people immediately digress to questions about "sex toys" and vulgar sex acts that I find not only disgusting, but also personally offensive. I don't even bother mentioning my submissive nature to guys anymore, lest their eyes glaze over with visions of sex slaves and threesomes dancing in their heads. The sad and simple truth is that these people are completely missing the point of what a Dominant/submissive relationship has to offer. For me, being told what to wear to work, what to watch on television, or what to eat for breakfast, is every bit as erotic--more actually--than other physical sexual activities; stimulation of the mind is far more important for me than stimulation of the flesh. This is where fantasy comes in. Fantasy--taboo in particular--lends an element to sex that nothing else can come close to. Most guys are utterly devoid when it comes to sexual creativity and we girls are the ones that suffer. Have you ever wondered why your lady never wants to "do it?" Well, you're boring; it's that simple. I know I probably sound like a bitch, but someone needed to say it.
