Seeing Stars - My Commentary

Oh, I suppose this story is a bit unfocussed. The star scene at the end was written first, as part of an attempt to arouse a very special woman. I liked the way the scene worked out, so I decided to try to turn it into something a little more substantial.

I'm not sure it works all that well. I wove a couple other themes into the storyline. First of all, there is a lot of story-telling going on in "Seeing Stars," and the telling of stories is pretty darn important to everyone here. There is also a movement from an unnatural, cramped environment towards a free, wide-open space.

But mainly it's a simple story about a couple who is on the verge of falling in love. They are all just getting to learn about each other, and everything starts a little tense and uneasy. I hope by the end, people see a rising comfort between the two, and they see a rich bed for future love to spring forth.

Sort of.
