My apologies for delays in updating this site.
While I have written a considerable amount I have fallen down on getting the stories typed and edited ready for uploading and I don't like posting partly completed stories. I can't promise to do better but as stated I have added a couple more stories that should have been here earlier.

While it is hoped you have never had someone say "Not if you were
the last man on Earth" to you, I am sure the concept is not unfamiliar.
What would life be like for the lucky (?) few who retained their sight in a situation where the rest of mankind (at far as they could tell) had gone blind as an unexpected consequence of widespread bio-terrorism attacks. Faced with the choice of starving to death or a life as part of a harem, how many would be prepared to say those nine little words? John Wyndam's novel painted the scene. Now consider it without carniverous plants and with a lot more lust. In a race to secure the survival of yourself, your family and your species what steps would YOU take? The story, like life, is basically open ended. Each chapter is self-contained, dealing with one event in the new community. While the early chapters follow a sequence, any chapter should stand alone once the general concepts and characters are understood. |

going to try to tell me the "lucky" people wouldn't behave exactly like
every other teenager out there?
During puberty everything does seem to revolve around what is happening to one's self so it is not unnatural that some people take self-interest to extremes as they review their changing world view; changing as their bodies change. These stories consider different possible (fantastic) mutations and how the people involved would react. They can be read in any order. |
