Some of my favorites!

Below are some of my favorite stories and authors in no particular order. Some inspired me directly to write a story. Some inspired me less directly, like James Wellington whose stories I admire but are different than mine. Some are authors who have encouraged and helped me and whose stories are worth a read. In all cases, these are the stories I return to when I want a good read. I hope you share my enthusiasm. p.s. you may need a storiesonline account to see some of these links.

Sitting for Kelli by Hank Freeman My all time personal favorite babysitting story

Desdmona A wonderful writer who also helped me get started as a writer.

James Wellington Jim Wellington wrote 4 long stories of teen love. They are nothing like mine but I lapped them up, so to speak.

Cello A delightfully erotic little story by Geoff Chaucer

Scratch My Itch I wish my mind was as twisted as John's to come up with a story like this.

Vivian Darkbloom Check out Vivian's world of Purient Purity

Holly Rennick Holly's stories are always well written and full of rich characterizations of real people. A nice change from the typical stroke story.

Russell Hoisington My favorite Russ story is A Prickly Situation. I like it more than the Wynter stories, also great.

Storiesonline has set up a little catch so you have to log in to see all the stories. It's worth it.

Thefts - Stories I've stolen from

These are stories that directly inspired a story of mine followed by the story I wrote. Sometimes, I only stole a few characters; sometimes, I only left the author his name, lol. Talent imitates, genius steals! - T.S. Eliott

Emerson Laken Palmer, My Silent Daughter Silent Daughter

Tyger and Daphne, Touched by an Angel Flying with an Angel

Akuri No Kishi, Hikari No Umi Viewing the Cherry Blossoms

Jessy19, Gigi Gigi (I stole the first half only; beginning hers, end mine.)

Parabolus, Erotic Encounter Unexpected Encounter

Stosh79_00, My Angels Temptations of Babylon

And of course, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov which inspired The Piano Lessons.
