It may be of some interest to the readers to know how the various
stories in my directory rank in terms of the number of times each has been downloaded according to statistics provided by www.asstr-mirror.org and midphase.com. To be certain, such downloads would not pass muster as a scientific evaluation of reader preferences since a download must be executed prior to reading the story. However, the titles and story summaries give the reader some guidance.
Moreover, the data clearly show definite differences and preferences. Of course, the length of time for which the story has been posted plays an important part in the download statistics. The posting dates may be found in my main directory.
For me personally, one of the most interesting aspects of the
download statistics is that they give an indication of the wonderful
diversity that exists between us, without which life would be much less
interesting and exciting.
I will endeavor to keep the statistics current as they are provided
by www.asstr-mirror.org and midphase.com. Current statistics cover the period from January 21, 2007 through January 15, 2012. My personal rankings of the stories are given in the form of one to five stars (*) based on my judgment of story creativity, plot, eroticism, and closeness to the actual life experiences of my wife and myself.
At present, the average number of downloads per story is 45,551.
