Darla had been a faithful wife for 9 years, but sometimes temptation can't be resisted.

Darla had been a faithful wife to Howard for nine years. She was a beautiful woman with two lovely, talented children. Howard had an excellent position as Associate District Manager for a large and very successful firm. The couple worked extraordinarily hard in their effort to have Howard achieve promotion to District Manager and eventually to a VP position. They steadfastly resisted the urge to slack off on their efforts in order to make life easier for themselves. In fact, there seemed to be nothing they could not successfully resist, nothing that is, except temptation.
