I have a question to ask everyone out there. Excuse me for being a little out of touch, or a little computer-shy lately, but whatever happened to Dejanews? I recently went there and found the site had been revamped, and that it now exists as a search site for products. As in things you buy, like cameras and cars. Bullshit. I want my old Dejanews back. Is this function performed by a similar site now? Are there other ways to search newsgroup postings? Please drop me a line. I also would like to let everyone know I am restructuring my site and adding an archive to it, which is not operational yet but will be soon. In the meantime, only the year 2000 reviews will be available. Please keep those websites coming to me! I am particularly interested at this time in fanfic porn written about rock stars and if there are any sites containing Tolkien-inspired porn. There's a movie coming out, you know.
Blowjob from shy Indian aunt [B+/A-]
The narrator of this story grew up in India, and had a very unusual relationship with his aunt (non-blood relation.) Because India is in the backwaters as far as women's rights are concerned, women are still submissive towards the demands of the men, and male relations, in their lives, and therefore the narrator is able to get away with a lot of stuff when his uncle isn't around. Such includes groping, watching his aunt pee, breastfeed, and undress, and generally harassing her as only a horny adolescent could. The narrator (this purports to be a true-life story) called the relationship consensual, but I don't know. I mean, what's the poor tradition-bound woman going to do? If she complains, her husband would likely blame her, and her nephew do something else to put her in her place...which she will have no choice but to accept. For this reason I found the story a little disturbing, though I admit it was interesting. It probably goes on a lot more than anyone wants to admit.
A Story of the Wars - Of Orcs and Elves [A]
For being such a popular writer, Tolkien has had surprisingly little impact in neterotica circles, though he can said to be the one of the originators of the defiled elven maid story, simply because way back when he came up with the prototypical elven maid. However, most of the elven porn I've seen has come out of the Dungeons & Dragons school -- hack n' slash -- and lacks that misty Middle Earth feel.
This story attempts to capture that feel, featuring authentically detailed
orcs that would do Mr. Tolkien proud, or perhaps embarrassed,. Here one
pauses to piss in a bush, discomfiting the elven maid who's spying on
the horde:
The officer remains horny, so a female orcish camp-follower -- a whore -- is summoned to give him sexual satisfaction. If you read nothing else in the story, read that part. It's at once fantastically realistic and hilarious. Of course the elven maid is found out, and deflowered and gang-banged, waking up to find "Her nipples had been pierced and small chain links installed. Orcish tattoos adorned her breasts, her thighs, her arms...Well-crafted tattoos had been done on her face, a red strip over each eyebrow, a red 'v' shape in the center of her forehead, white 'v's under on each cheek, and a red stripe from the base of her chin to her bottom lip." The last line is a kicker. I know it may not be very progressive of me to enjoy rape/degradation tales, but as long as the female enjoys the experience -- as a thrill rather than an affirmation of her status -- I'm OK with them. It's certainly a healthier attitude than the women not enjoying it all, or being disgusted by it.
Master Chris Story 50: Elizabeth's Adventure in Chicago [A]
Master Chris has written about 100 stories; I'm assuming most are BDSM because of his name. They're all been posted recently by either the author or a collector, so I'd thought I'd review one to get an idea of what this author's output is like. If the other stories are like this one, I think it's safe to assume the writer is a pretty talented one who knows his stuff.
Gorgeous sub Elizabeth (aren't they all?) takes a plane trip to Chicago on
the instructions of her dom boyfriend, who's arranged a surprise for
her. Being a sub, she follows all instructions to the letter, beginning
with exposing herself on the jet. At the hotel, she puts on a blindfold
and is tied to the bed:
Later comes anal play with toys. This story didn't tell me anything I haven't read before, but it was very well done, and should set a standard for consensual, slightly romantic (the boyfriend calls her "Dearest Slave Liz") reading enjoyment.
A Concert Video [B+]
I've found another genre of sex stories! It is the hanging or autoasphyxiation tale. For those not in the know, asphyxiation during sex supposedly enhances sexual pleasure. Lady Cyrrh would not know about this, but according the poster "Over 200 people a year die playing with asphyxia in the USA. That's not counting the rest of the world." Apparently more than a few people dig the concept, and those who heed the warnings and don't do it, write about it. The story is a straightforward depiction of an imaginary event, competently written, but plotless. At one of Madonna's concerts a fake hanging with a volunteer from the audience goes wrong. The platform collapses on top of the singer (justice is served) leaving the poor guy to dangle and jerk. The narrator has access to the videotapes made of the accident and tells the story to us as a voyeur, dwelling on the sexual aspects. If you want a depiction of someone being hanged, this is it. Though honestly I am not sure it would be so dramatic -- in free-fall hangings people usually die from broken necks, not being asphyxiated. And I really doubt Madonna would have a fake hanging on stage; such tricks belong to Marilyn Manson and Gwar, despite that in these post- Columbine times, unfortunately, the whole concept of fake stage violence seems to be on the way out. Still, if you want to see what the fuss is about, read this.
Highjacked Sorority Initiation [A-]
The given title of this story was "The Beginning of a Legend."
The narrator of this story is a frat boy at an unnamed college
somewhere in the midwest. He's pissed because his girlfriend Sandra ("a
perfect 10") isn't giving him any despite all the cash he's spent on her,
and is also planning on dumping him for a richer frat boy. She's the
rush coordinator of her sorority, so the narrator plans to get a revenge
by botching it up. The pledges are to follow directions on a series of
index cards posted at various places, so the narrator and his buddies
switch them out with their own. Naturally, their directions require the
gals to participate in a series of sexual encounters that increase in
intensity -- getting braless, getting spanked, getting naked, etc. The
stunts culminate in a sexual hoe-down in a barn where the gals are
ritually bathed and given enemas (shades of D/s) then:
Surprisingly, none of the pledges are put out by all this (even though they've also been videotaped for future frat-boy entertainment) describing it only as "a very exciting night." This was a very readable story. The author handled a lot of things very well, such as the mystified attitude of the pledges and how they gradually get sucked into the explicitness because they genuinely think their sisters are instructing them. The whole thing kept you buzzing right along. The writing wasn't anything outstanding, but structure did the trick -- the reader proceeds from card to card exactly as the pledges do, while knowing the tricks the boys are coming up with behind their backs. There are things to be said for a clever plot even in a porn story. On the other hand, the story didn't try to be anything more than porn. The girls were all perfect 10s and appropriately airheaded, little more than packages of tits and ass, and the frat-boy attitude wore on me after the while...the idea that females are bitches if they don't put out in exchange for money spent on them...bitches for not being whores, I suppose...and that sexual activity can only be tricked out of them, 'cos they're all sorority golden girls and would never give it away for a mere college man. And following that line of reasoning, that it's also OK to laugh at them for being duped and also laugh at them for enjoying it. There's something very 1980s about this, very Animal House -- that college men and women fight an eternal sexual war -- and it's annoying. But it's also what made the story arousing.

One my readers has also pointed out a problem to me. Sometimes I put down ASSG (alt.sex.stories.gay) when I really mean ASSGM (alt.sex.stories.gay.moderated.) So if you have read a review of a gay story and went to ASSG to find it, try ASSGM instead, or the ASSGM archives (http://www.assgm.com). I never pick up stories from ASSG these days and probably never will again. So, sorry for the mistake.
The Private Party, Part 1 [A-]
An attractive married couple in their thirties receive an invitation to a swanky party on gold-embossed paper. Right away they realize this is no ordinary party, as when they call the number provided to RSVP, they are informed that they have been "specially chosen" and are given passwords. As a reader of a lot of sex stories, I thought, "Hmmm" and chances are, you would too. Anyway, they get all dolled up, go to the mansion, and meet the three other couples who have also been chosen to attend. Strangely, their host is not present. After dinner, they settle down to watch a young man and woman dressed as newlyweds have sex, then musical chairs begins with the wives, each moving from place to place to "get acquainted" with the male guests as the sex show continues. Of course, everyone is gorgeous, fit, and/or distinguished looking. From the first part of this story, I'd say much more sex is in store, of the swinging and interracial variety (one of the couples is black) and if you like such stuff -- in an elegant, upscale setting I'll add -- then you'll like this. I would have liked to see less stiffness in the prose and more character, but overall this was a worthwhile read.
Spaceways, Parts 1 and 2 [A/A-]
In Earth's future the human lifespan has been expanded by hundreds of years and the "gay gene" eradicated from the human genome. (Whether this brave new world is a utopia or dystopia is up to you.) These expanded lifespans make people very leery of taking physical risks, and also makes them a less horny, and the scarcity of the "gay gene" leads to some unforeseen complications...leading to a chronologically old but physically young couple discovering that their unborn son is a gay throwback. Since there aren't any other gay people around for him to pair off with, the couple opt to have the zygote split into twins so they won't have to go it alone. If you think this sounds like a juicy setup, you're right, and in Part 2 the twins, now teenagers, try to puzzle out their sexuality. They are fated to be space explorers, and more of this story is promised. I thought this SF/sex story was well written and had some nicely- thought out speculations; however since it was a sex story, I would have liked to see some more *talk* about sex in these beginning chapters, if not physical sex. I know that many times in a longer work it takes a while to get around to the sex; this I understand. But sensual language, a kinky set-up, or dirty talk, if done right, can really whet the appetite, and give us an idea of what is to come.
Time Raper, Parts 1 and 2 [A+]
Like the above, this story dealt with SF...but an "Outer Limits" type of SF
where an otherworldly invention/event/alien pops into real-life small-
town America and creates moral complications among the characters.
In this story, the otherworldly invention is time travel. A piggy,
sexually frustrated guy invents a device that lets him travel 10 minutes
into the past, and not being able to attract women by normal means, he
uses his new ability to rape them:
The girl continued happily on her way for another block or so,
smiling as the occasional passerby turned his head as he passed. She
liked this little town. The people were friendly, and the rustic
atmosphere helped her ...
Her thoughts were cut-off as she was sharply jerked off the walk.
Brian threw his prey into the alley. She fell to the ground with an
exclamation of pain and fear, her panties flashing from underneath the
short, peach skirt. He fell onto her, grasping the strap on her right
shoulder that held up her matching sleeveless top. He flashed her the
knife he held in his other hand.
The girl was about to scream, Brian slapped her hard across the face,
then ripped down her shirt, exposing the right cup of her bra.
"Don't make a sound, bitch!"
"Please don't! Please don't!"
After the rape, he resets the device to the time just before the assault, and goes on his merry way with the victim none the wiser. But for all the unlimited access to attractive (and otherwise unavailable) women this gives him, he still desires Jennifer, a neighbor girl whom he grew up with, who let him see her thirteen-year-old tits on one golden summer day. But the glimpse turns out to be the hero's downfall, because he becomes obsessed with her even though she sees him only as a friend. He carries the obsession for years, torturing himself by thinking of the many men she's fucked, and when he hears she's getting married, he decides to use the device to rape her. I have rarely seen a story on ASS that moves as well as this does, very spare and clean without an ounce of unnecessary detail...very very readable. And it kept you reading, just to see what would happen next. This is why I gave the story an A+ despite its numerous typos and missing words, its cliches, and the inexplicable change of the hero's name from "Rick" to "Brian." In a piece this good, what's a few goofs? Also deserving of an A+ was the way the author caught to a "T" the interior life of a bitter, sexually frustrated male adult who is turned on by women and women's breasts, but infuriated they won't give him the time of day. This is eerily similar to the psychosexual profile many real rapists have -- that all hot, attractive women are theirs to use, as if their frustration gives them entitlement to take what they want. I can see how such a man with a time machine would act just this way, and how, in the arrested emotional development it implies, he would carry a hopeless obsession for years or even decades. The rape scenes themselves were realistic too, with the guy even yelling out "Oh baby!" and "Oh you fucking bitch!" as he revels in the sex like a pig wallowing in a feeding trough. If all this was intentional, I think the author was saying some very deep and unpleasant things about male sexuality, male anger, and male hatred/idolization of women. They were not pretty, but by god they were true. (Lest you flame me, for *some* men, not all.) If the story ran with the setup the author gave it with a full head of steam, and ended with the consequence of the hero's actions -- he forgets in the frenzy of the moment to reset the device, and is caught, or realizes the futility of rape and comes to some conclusion -- it might have been a true masterpiece. But the author's insight and irony, if insight and irony they were, failed in the last quarter of the story. After raping his childhood love, the hero realizes it's love he really wants from Jennifer, not rape. So he backs time up to the moment of the attack, but instead congratulates her on her upcoming marriage, and goes off to invent a new device that lets him go back into tome even further, into his thirteen-year-old self, so he can start off the relationship with Jennifer on the right foot. This time, instead of merely glimpsing her tits, he finagles a fuck out of her, the idea being the first frustration -- denial of his sexual heat -- caused all the others, and that now he's had his fantasy fuck, he will gain her undying love. I had a big problem with this the ending. It was pat and sentimental, and negated all the insight and danger of what went before...it was a cop-out. It seems to say, if only we could turn back time and be a little bolder, everything will be fine. But the story wasn't about the individual characters and their fulfillment and lack of fulfillment, it was about universal human nature. I fully expected the hero to be just as piggy at thirteen as he was as an adult. Really.
What I Loved About Barbara [A]
This story also dealt with taboo subject matter: rape, heavy childhood sexual abuse, and the effect that sexual abuse has on one's sexuality, and one's husband. The narrator begins by stating he married his wife, Barbara, because of her "quiet, haunted look" which arouses his protective instincts; she's also a callow 18, while he's 25. They make gentle, tender love for a few months, then she drops a bombshell: she's been sexually abused by her uncle and father for years, and that it is really abuse that turns her on, not normal loving sex.
The narrator is flabbergasted, but tries to oblige her, rationalizing that
perhaps it is something she has to work out of her system, and that after
she does so, things will once again be OK between them:
Eventually Barbara suggests a threesome with the narrator and his
friend Ralph, the men taking on the roles of her abusive father and
uncle. Things get rough but she comes and comes. Afterward, the
narrator thinks:
The author does a very fine job of contrasting the narrator's desire to help his wife by participating in some violent and unpleasant sexual acts with the fact he gets unwillingly turned on by them ( "[She was] a little fuck doll, a hot, wet piece of meat to fuck and throw away. I loved her and I hated her. She disgusted me and attracted me. I felt the need to come IN her and ON her and OVER her and even THROUGH her. I wanted to kill her and to save her." ) Here the narrator sets out to "save" the virgin/whore from herself, whereas in "Time Raper" the hero was trying to "kill" her; both stories, read back to back, gave an excellent window into the male mind. The story continues with the wife getting into heavy BDSM (with meathooks and scars) and, like an addict unable to control herself, progresses from bondage and physical punishment to talking dirty on the phone and taking out ads in the swingers' section ("Fuck my wife while I watch. Anything goes. Come in her ass. Tie her up. Beat her. All races, either sex. Bring the gang") without her husband's knowledge. Unable to stop herself from speeding downhill, she's doomed. One day the narrator comes home to see...well, I'll let you read that for yourself. The story concludes with a trial-like ending statement asking for leniency from the court. While some women abused in childhood try to put the pain behind them, I have read that some attempt to re-enact it in an effort to exorcise it, as the woman does in the story through BDSM, role-playing, and dangerous sexual activities. Like "Time Raper" this story had some unpleasant things to say about male sexuality, but said unpleasant things about female sexuality as well.
The Yard Dog's Fantasy [A-]
Gwen, a young suburban wife, gets rid of hubby and kids for the afternoon to attend to some serious D/s play from her email Master. She goes into the bathroom, which has a large picture window, apparently, giving Lester the lawn care guy an eyeful. He's come to do some weed whackin', but by the end of the story, it's more than weeds, as she first inserts a buttplug into her rectum, then smacks her ass with a ruler as she masturbates. This was a pretty hot fantasy -- the woman's part, that is; Lester's alternating reactions seemed kind of superfluous, though not without humor. But I felt more could have been done with the story. For example, the admittedly hilarious notion of a pretty suburban housewife falling under the spell of an internet dom could have been developed further. I also fully expected the wife and lawn care guy to meet at the end, in a humorous or embarrassing way; an exceptionally witty payoff might have pushed the story to an A+ for me. But I guess the author is a new one, or not quite sure of his or her style yet. Anyway, this was a fun read.
6/30/00
I haven't read any Uther Pendragon stories in a while, so I'd thought I'd read this. A pregnant woman and her husband have a conversation late one night in bed. The story is told entirely in dialogue, leaving you to guess at the meanings of exchanges like "No problem. You actually enjoyed that?" "Sure. I won't lie, I prefer being in you. But that will happen. I waited years for you, once. I can wait months....Indeed, I should have more patience these days.... It's funny, though" which I first took to mean they were having anal sex, until a few lines later, when I discover it's a handjob. Good thing, too, as the baby is playing "soccer" with her bladder! I was never and will probably never be pregnant, but this story seemed true to life, and is worth reading several times, just to "get" all the coy exchanges between the two.
Batgirl vs. The Joker - The Safest Sex of All [A]
S. Sneakley has written an excellent series about the adventures of Batgirl that I really enjoyed (Batgirl vs. The Crime School for Girls, the 6/11/97 Reviews) but quit writing for a few years. Now he's back with a new Batgirl series, and this time she's up against The Joker and his stripper-for-hire girlfriend, Bubbles. (I guess Harley Quinn is in the slammer.)
Based more on the 60s TV show than the comic, the story was an
enjoyable romp with a sly sense of humor. Batman and Chief O'Hara are
boobs, and Robin is a drunk; only Batgirl has any crime-fighting sense.
The story begins when Bubbles the stripper, whose costume consists of
multicolored balloons -- some filled with knockout gas -- steals some
bonds from a bank president. Batgirl tracks her down to the Joker's
hideout at The Lucky Latex Novelty Shop, where various bondage perils
await her. First she's constricted inside a giant purple condom:
"Hoo hoo, the jokes on you Bat-babe! It s a full body condom! The safest
sex of all!" He was on his feet now, jumping and clapping his white
gloved hands. "This is better than I had hoped. I was starting to worry
that you were never going to catch on to such a wonderful ploy!"
Barbara was rolling around on the floor struggling in the tight
confines of the latex sheath. It had closed neatly around her neck and
was quickly getting tighter. It had formed a second skin over her body.
Her arms were pressed to her side and she was soon unable to move
them more than a few inches to either side. A warm, slimy coating on
the inside of the latex let her body glide around inside the condom as
she wriggled uselessly on the floor.
After she escapes, there's another peril involving a carnival dunk tank, The Joker's orgasm-inducing "joy buzzers", and a slide into a pool of soap where she's alternately suffocated and stimulated. In some places the story was darker than the author's previous works, particularly when Batgirl nearly dies in that tank and escapes only by blind luck -- it was less bondage-sexy and more snuff n' danger, and the all-in-good-fun tone was absent. However, other parts of the story were very amusing, such as the Joker's continuous fuck sessions with Bubbles (he wears boxers adorned with purple hearts) and casual sadism ("Did you really kill her Jokey?" "As a matter of fact I did, while we were fucking on a couch just like this.") If the Joker were ever to have a sex life on-screen, he'd act just like this.
The Eternal Youth [A]
There was a lengthy and interesting foreword to this story, which deals with gay sex in the age of AIDS and the yearning for eternal youth in the form of a young, good-looking, gay man with unlimited sexual opportunities in front of him. The story was pretty good too, though not, as the author says, written for "shallow thrill-seekers looking for plain, simple smut."
Larson is a beleaguered, naive 18-year-old tavern-boy in an inn circa
1716. One day a strange merchant comes in who regards him "as a man
might look at a woman." The narrator's intuition is confirmed when he
spills some wine and the innkeeper orders him whipped on the buttocks
for it with a belt:
This leads to a pretty thorough spanking, after which the innkeeper hires the narrator out to the merchant for the night. Alone in his room, the merchant announces he's in the possession of the "elixer of Life" and the narrator begs for a taste of it, after the sex of course. This was a very well-written first-time story and it kept my attention from beginning to end; if more has been written (unknown, since the poster does not appear to be the author) it's worth keeping an eye out for. My only complaint is that the elixer of Life was given too freely; surely the narrator would have been required to do something more? But this was a very good read.
Living Rich (a Tiffany story) [A]
I was not thrilled with the last Phil Phantom/Tiffany I read, "Sacrificial
Lamb" (1/17/98 Reviews) because of its blatant racism and the forcible
impregnation of minors, but this one had an intriguing title so I'd
thought I'd give him, or her, another go. (I am still not sure of the
relationship between Phil Phantom and Tiffany, if they are a writing
team, two identities for the same author, alteregoes, or what.) In this
story, a young mother with three kids is forced to become a hooker in
order to support herself, as her husband has dumped her and refuses to
pay child support. The story didn't really have a plot; it was all about her
rationalization of her career choice and the effect it has on her kids,
and the author showed great skill in making it all seem eerily logical to
the intelligent, but downtrodden, narrator:
There. I can almost believe it...**almost**... The narrator hooks for a while, and even her kids help out in a away. (The johns enjoy humiliating the kids by making them watch the acts, but the kids aren't actually disgusted, they see it as a practicality, and their yucky faces are a sham.) Eventually the narrator marries one of her clients, a wealthy man who continues to use her as a prostitute, and who will eventually use her children as well (as "human fuck rags.") But lo and behold, real love sets in, and all the white-trash hooking and incest that came before is negated. The narrator and her husband have 18 happy years together and the kids go on to good marriages and well- paying careers, leaving her to conclude: "Mothers do raise minds, and a good whore can do that as well as anyone. We are sexual beings, and children are young sexual beings. Knowledge of sex does no harm, but neglect and distance does. You can't hold a child close enough or give a child too much love and affection. I have no regrets, but I pitty the fools who think they are protecting their children by shielding them from the real world and sex, or moms who can't scream MOTHER FUCKER when they stub a toe. DAMN just doesn't do it and won't make children laugh." If you wanted to pick a bone with this story, you'd find lots of tyrannosaurus-sized ones sticking out in clear view; chief among them that prostitution is an abandoned woman's only career choice, and that it does no lasting damage to either herself or her kids. But what the hell, this is a total fantasy, and part of the enjoyment of reading it *was* how skillfully the author took an outrageous conceit and tried to make it seem realistic and wholesome while giving it the "Oprah" confessional touch. Not bad at all. If this is a newer story than "Sacrificial Lamb" the writer has improved a lot. Who knows, maybe there was a grain of truth in it as well.
