This is a tale about a young Chinese girl, Shin, and how she save her father from ruin and still manage to save her innocence and defeat evil Mr. Fou. And,
of course, get her true love, the young, handsome Liau in the end.

Mr. Fou and the price of innocence.

Life in rural, Chinese towns and villages didn't change much over the centuries.

Emperors came and went, but things didn't change much for the common man.

The Chinese are a patient and calm people and life simply went on as it always
had. This story could have taken place 400 years ago, or it could be 70 years
ago, who knows.

The setting is a small town in the south of China.

Lim Choi and his wife were so happy, when she finally got pregnant. They had
given up hope of ever getting a child, but suddenly their dream came true. Lim
Choi was a tailor and a good one he was too. They were so happy, but happiness
is transient and, when little Shin was born, her mother not only gave her life,
she sacrificed her own life to give birth to Shin.

Lim Choi was in great despair, but the little child gave him a reason for go on
and he took it upon himself to raise and care for the child, even though the
normal thing to do would have been to let the child's grandparents raise it. But
Lim Choi was a very loving and caring man and the child was the only thing he
had left to live for and the only living memory of her mother.

Shin grew up to be a very beautiful child, just like her mother had been. And
she was a happy and lively child too. Whenever Lim Choi was sad or when times
were tough, he only needed to look at his daughter and all the dark thoughts
would disappear.

The years passed and Shin grew more and more beautiful. At thirteen, she was
beginning to grow into a little woman. She was a sight to behold. Her face and
figure were so fine and delicate that everybody that saw her thought she was of
noble birth. Her eyes were big and smiling, her nose so little and fine, and her
lips were full, although her mouth small. She normally had her long, black hair
in a plait down her back, almost long enough to reach the small of her back. She
only stood five feet tall and weighed 80 pounds. Her father was proud of her and
it warmed his heart every time he looked at her. And she was very bright, too.
Already at the age of five, she could help her father calculate the amount of
cloth needed for a dress or a suit.

Her maternal grandmother was a wise old woman and, whenever Shin had the time
and opportunity, her grandmother would teach her about healing herbs and magic
potions. Since Shin was getting close to the age where she was to marry, her
grandmother also thought her about the duties of a good wife.

Shin herself had also noticed the changes in her body. The physical changes was
obvious, but she had also felt other changes. When she washed herself, she felt
a strange new feeling, whenever she touched her breasts and her most personal
part between her legs. When she touched her breasts, it gave her a tingling
feeling between her legs, which intensified, when she touched a special spot in
her secret garden. Even if she had not washed herself down there, it would be
wet. The first time it happened, Shin got very embarrassed, because she thought
she had wet herself, but she soon learned it was something different.

She had listen when her grandmother told her about the things a wife must do for
her husband and with the new knowledge about her body, she had tried to explore
herself a little more in the evening, when she lay in her bed. She had only done
it a couple of times. It felt good, but she knew it was something, which a good
girl like herself was not supposed to do.

The first time, she had only rubbed her fingers over her breasts. The small peas
on top of her breasts had become hard like when it was cold and she was
shivering. But they had not hurt, like they would do if they were hard from the
cold.

She concentrated more on the small peas, and when she took them between her
fingers and squeezed them a little, it tingled a lot between her legs. Her
thighs had involuntarily rubbed together and her breathing had become faster.
She had curled up her blanket and put it between her thighs. It had felt so good
and she had thought about what her grandmother had told her about how the
husband would lie between the wife's legs and use his planting stick to
cultivate the wife's garden. Shin had fallen asleep with the blanket between her
thighs. Her sleep had been uneasy and when she woke up, there was a damp spot on
the blanket.

She restrained herself from doing it again for some time, but as any child, she
was curious. One evening as she undressed to go to bed, she rubbed her hands
over her breasts before she to put on her night-shirt. Her breasts were aching a
little because they were growing and it felt good when she pressed them against
her chest. It was a warm evening and as she stood naked in front of her bed and
squeezed her sore breasts, she felt an itching between her legs. Without
thinking about it, she scratched the soft patch of fine hairs just over her
secret garden. Her hand drifted lower and suddenly it touched a very sensitive
spot between the puffy folds. Shin felt her knees go weak and a wonderful
sensation spread from the tender spot.

Gasping at the powerful sensation, she sat down on the bed. It was unlike
anything she had felt before and she was surprised by the strong feelings the
light touch had caused. Curiously, she spread her legs and looked down at the
origin of this powerful sensation. Spreading the puffy folds between her legs,
she saw a tiny nubbin, not unlike a pearl in an oyster. Tentatively, she put her
finger on it again. Oh, the sensation it caused. It was so wonderful.

She tried to rub it a little, but it was too dry and too sensitive. She held her
finger on it and pressed down rhythmically. It felt so good. Her fingers drifted
lower and she felt the moisture coming out from the tiny well under the pearl.
Her finger was coated with the fluid and when she brought it back to the pearl,
it felt even better. She could rub it gently. The intoxicating waves of pleasure
that spread from the little pearl made her forget all about, what good girls are
supposed to do and not to do. She touched and rubbed the little pearl for over
half an hour, until she began to feel sore. She still felt she missed something,
but what she had found was so wonderful that she didn't think more about it. She
couldn't really fall asleep. Hundreds of thoughts and fantasies clouded her mind
and her hand kept drifting to her newly found treasure.

When she woke in the morning, still naked, the centre of her pleasure was
swollen and sore. She feared it was the punishment for her improper behaviour.
All day she felt a throbbing heat emanating from between her legs. It made it
difficult for her to walk properly and she could not concentrate at all. She
vowed to herself that she would never to do it again.

But after a few days, when the discomfort was gone, she felt the urge to touch
herself again. At first, she tried to ignore it, but as she lay in her bed,
sleepy and relaxed, her hand just found it's way all on it's own. Before she
knew what had happened, she found herself in a daze of pleasure. It took all her
willpower and a long time to tear her hand away and go to sleep.

That night, she dreamt about Liau, but in a different way than before. Liau and
Shin had known each other since they were small children. Liau was the son of
the blacksmith. Lately, Shin had felt a nice, warm feeling whenever Liau touched
her. And this night, she dreamt about him holding her tight. She even dreamt
about some of the things her grandmother had told her about. Things that man and
wife do.

When they were younger, there had been no doubt in their minds that they were
going to be man and wife, when they grew up. But as time passed and they grew
older, they had to realise that it was never going to happen.

Being a tailor, even a very good tailor, didn't pay much. If Shin were to marry,
Lim Choi would have to come up with a dowry and he was not very likely to be
able to pay a dowry of the size needed for Shin to marry Liau. It didn't change
the feelings Liau and Shin had towards each other, but they had to accept what
their parents decided for them and they both knew it wouldn't be a marriage
between the two of them.

Bad luck had fallen on Lim Choi and forced him to borrow money from Mr. Fou.
And, even though Lim Choi was a hard working man and even though his daughter
helped him, he had the greatest difficulties paying back Mr. Fou. The interest
on the loan was high, higher than he first had thought, and Lim Choi was not
able to pay on time. One late evening, Mr. Fou came around to Lim Choi's
workshop. Shin had been sent to bed, but Lim Choi continued to work.

'Lim Choi. You still owe me money that you should have paid two month ago. You
will have to pay me soon, or I will have you sent to jail.'

'Kind Mr. Fou. I have no money. I promise you, I will pay you as soon as I can.
But please do not send me to prison. My daughter only has me to support her.
Have mercy, if not on me than at least on my daughter.'

'Very well, I will give you another month. Not for your sake, but for your
daughter's. But remember that you have signed for the loan and taken the money.'

'Thank you, Oh kind Mr. Fou. I am sure fate will be kind to you.'

Mr. Fou left and Lim Choi went back to work. But through the thin walls, little
Shin had heard the conversation and she was disturbed by what she had heard. But
she could not let it show. One should never pay any attention to words that were
not meant for your ears. And Shin soon forgot the words she had heard. Life went
on as usual. Lim Choi worked and Shin helped her father as much as she could.

Another month went by. Despite all the hard work, Lim Choi still did not have
all the money he owed Mr. Fou. The interest had added to the original amount and
Lim Choi feared he would have to go to prison. There was no way he would be able
to earn enough to pay both the loan and the interest. Anxiously, he awaited Mr.
Fou's visit.

After his first visit to Lim Choi's workshop and the conversation he had had
with Lim Choi, Mr. Fou had thought a lot about little Shin. It would be a pity,
if she ended up in an orphanage. Her grandparents were too old and poor to take
care of her without Lim Choi to earn what money he could to support his
daughter. She was really a precious little gem, Mr. Fou thought. He was alone,
never married. He had never had the time and a wife was expensive, children even
more. But he still had the desires of the all men and his desires grew when he
looked at Shin walking down the street. Such a beautiful young girl she was. And
yet no man had ever touched her.

The more Mr. Fou thought about Shin, the more he desired her. In his mind, a
plan slowly formed; a plan to get the object of his desire. He knew Lim Choi
would never be able to pay. And to make sure of it, he convinced a couple of his
rich friends, who had commissioned new clothes at Lim Choi, to delay their
payment. He knew that Lim Choi would never dare to ask his rich customers for
the money and risk insulting them. This way his plan was sure to work out.

After a month had passed, Mr. Fou again visited Lim Choi's workshop late one
evening. Lim Choi begged for his daughter and asked for another month
postponement, but Mr. Fou was adamant in his decision. Lim Choi would have to
pay one way or the other. Lim Choi begged and pleaded to have another month.
Some customers had not paid on time and he was sure he would have the money
soon. But there was no mercy from Mr. Fou.

Shin had awoken to the sound of the two men speaking and she immediately knew
what it was about, when she heard Mr. Fou's creaky voice. And although she knew
she was not supposed to, she could help but listen to the conversation.

'Please, kind and generous Mr. Fou. Please allow me another month.'

'You said the same last month and the month before that. How am I ever going to
get food on my table and fire in my stove, if people never pay? Do you want an
old man to die of hunger and cold?'

'Oh no, kind Mr. Fou. But I am sure you still have a little money, even if you
let me postpone the payment of my debt for another month. I have given you half
the amount and I am only asking for a little relief until my costomers pay.'

'Oohh men like you beggar me. You will at least have to bring me some kind of
compensation for letting you wait for my money this way.'

'I can make you a fine suit, kind Mr. Fou.'

'No. You will not earn any money while you sew it for me. No, you will have to
give me something else. I suggest you give me your daughter to come and
entertain me. She will make up for the lack of fire in my stove. She will heat
my bed and my body.'

'Oh no. You can not ask such sacrifice from me. She is all I have. She is young
and innocent. Ask anything but that, kind Mr. Fou.'

'I will not ask for anything else. I will give you until tomorrow to decide
whether you will pay me my money, go to prison or give me your daughters
innocence.'

Mr. Fou left the despairing Lim Choi, but Shin had been listening and somehow,
from the things her grandma had told her, she knew what Mr. Fou wanted. It was
something that she could only give once. Her father would not have a chance in
this world or the next to pay his debt to Mr. Fou tomorrow. No matter what
happened, Shin could not bear the thought of her beloved father going to prison.
She would have to sacrifice her innocence to Mr. Fou. But she knew her father
would never let her visit Mr. Fou. As she didn't want to see him in prison, he
would not want her to give her innocence to Mr. Fou. Shin fell restlessly
asleep, thinking about how she could solve these problems.

Lim Choi worked all night, trying to finish so many dresses that he would be
able to pay Mr. Fou the next day. He worked until he collapsed from fatigue.
When Shin woke in the early morning, she found her dad sleeping in his workshop
and she was unable to wake him. At first, Shin became very worried, but then she
realised that it solved the first of her problems. She wrote a little note to
her father, telling him she was at her grandmother's house and he was not to
worry about Mr. Fou. Mr. Fou had already been there and, seeing how much effort
Lim Choi had put into his work to try to pay, he had given him another day to
get the money. Shin felt bad about lying to her father, but she had formulated a
plan in her head.

Before she left to go to Mr. Fou's house, she found the thinnest needle her
father had in his workshop. It was used only to sew the finest stitches in satin
and silk. Then she went out to the woods to gather herbs for a secret brew her
grandmother had taught her to make. Back in the house, she was pleased to find
her father still asleep. She was a quite as a mouse as she chopped, mixed and
boiled the herbs. Her grandmother had taught her well and soon the brew was
ready. Shin had also picked a thin twig from a willow, which had a soft pith.
Cautiously, she fastened the needle to the twig and dipped the tip of the needle
in the brew. Carefully, she hid the twig in a safe place. Now she was ready to
go to Mr. Fou. She got up and silently left the house.

Mr. Fou, who was looking out of his window, preparing to collect his "interest"
on the loan, was delighted when he saw the petite beauty walking towards his
door. She was shining like a little sun in the morning mist. No finer sight
could greet an old man in the morning . . . or on any other time, now he came to
think about it. His plan had worked to perfection. The poor tailor had sent his
beautiful little daughter to him without further threats.

Mr. Fou had never married. He was wealthy, yes, but in his younger days, he had
been ashamed of his ugly face and his crippled look. You see, Mr. Fou was born
with a curved spine and his money could not stop the girls giggling with knowing
glances, when they passed him in the street. He could pay a woman to love him
and he had done so a few times, but even they could not always contain their
looks of disgust at his strange physiognomy.

Now, he was going to enjoy this sprouting blossom. Shin had always been polite
and never once starred at him. This little innocent girl had captured his
imagination for so long. Now, he could hear his servant open the door and a
fragile, little voice asked for him. He sat down on a chair in the middle of the
room and waited. The servant told her to wait. A moment later, Shin was
announced and appeared in the door. She was so beautiful and her shyness and the
bashful look on her face only made old Mr. Fou warmer inside.

'Come, my child. Come to me and tell me why you are here.'

'My father said you had requested my presence. He told me to submit to your
smallest request, as it was important for him, for us. I'm at your service, kind
Mr. Fou.'

The soft, nervous voice sounded like the finest music in the old skinflint's
ears.

'You are right, my child. It is important. You see, your father borrowed money
from me and he submitted you as security for the loan. Since he can not redeem
his obligations, you are here today. Come here and let me see you. I have seen
you grow up and you have become a beautiful young girl.'

Shin moved closer on trembling legs. She didn't like the way Mr. Fou looked at
her and she didn't like the sudden sweetness in his voice. He lied about her
father, saying he had put her as security for the loan. It didn't matter to her
that he was ugly and deformed, but he was dishonest. Both her father and her
grandmother had raised her in the faith that honesty was the first and finest of
virtues.

When she reached the old man, she stopped and awaited his command. He reached
out and touched her cheek with his gnarled fingers, brushing the hair gently
back.

Her skin was so smooth and so warm. Never had he touched anything so exquisite,
so soft, and so perfect. To think how her skin would feel in the places, where
it was softest. The thought made something stir in Mr. Fou. He leaned towards
the little girl and inhaled her sweet perfume deeply. He was completely taken by
this young goddess. The way she looked down shyly added to her innocent and pure
appearance. And she was his. He could enjoy her as much as he liked.

She was dress in a silk dress, held together by a belt around her waist. Her
father was the best tailor in town and even though he wasn't rich, he had always
dressed his precious daughter in the finest clothes.

Shin felt as if she was pinned to the floor, unable to move, as Mr. Fou began to
loosen her belt. It took him forever, or so it felt, but finally the belt fell
to the floor and her dress opened. Under it, she had a long shirt that covered
her down to the top of her thighs. She held her breath as Mr. Fou reached up and
slowly pushed the dress off her shoulders. It followed the belt and felt around
her feet.

She looked vulnerable as she stood there before him. Only the thin shirt covered
her fine, delicate body. Mr. Fou's hands were shaking. He hardly dared touch the
fragile little girl. The first touch of his fingertips on her firm, yet smooth
thighs was electrifying. The young girl jerked and gasped for air. Nobody had
ever touched her there before.

'Oh, you are so beautiful, my child. Your skin is like the finest silk. You warm
my soul and make me swell.'

His hands moved up, pushing the shirt up. Her hips hadn't widened yet, but were
still the hips of a girl. He held his hands at her hipbones, admiring her sex. A
few, silky hairs dressed the top of her mound that protruded from her crotch. It
looked so soft, splitting just where the hair stopped. Two bald lips disappeared
between her firmly closed thighs. He pushed the shirt higher until it was under
her arms. Her small breasts were no more than swellings high on her chest, not
any more than good-sized apricots, the nipples small like peas. But they looked
so firm. This young girl was just ripe for picking, like a plum when it is still
firm and crisp and full of sweetness and juices.

'You should be picked now, before you get soft and overripe.' He spoke out loud.

Shin wondered what he meant and why he was so agitated. She felt uncomfortable
with his hungry look and his cold fingers touching her. The room was warm, but
she still felt like she was cold, shivering and getting goose bumps all over.

'Raise your arms. That's it.'

He pulled the shirt over her head. Shin let her arms fall down along her side
again. She was feeling very embarrassed about her nakedness. Mr. Fou motioned
her to turn around.

He admired her from all angles, her straight back, the firm cheeks of her
behind, quivering almost unnoticeably as she moved. When she was facing him
again, he felt a strong attraction to the small nubbins on her chest. He brushed
the tips of his fingers lightly over them like she was as fragile as a
butterfly's wings. The darker skin around the nipples contracted and the small
peas turned into hard pellets.

His fingertips felt strange on her chest. When they touched the centre of her
budding femininity, she felt a new sensation in her tummy. It was like a trickle
of water running from her tummy to her untouched garden. She had felt something
like it, when she accidentally touched herself in a particular place, but it
didn't feel nice now. Shin pressed her thighs together to stop the tickling
between her legs. But it didn't help. It only made it tickle more. It was a
relief wen Mr. Fou took his hands away.

But he only tore himself away from her breasts to move them to her firm, round
behind. Between them lay the tight orifice where he would bury his spear before
it sowed the seeds in her. It would be a pity to spoil such beauty by making her
give birth to his child. He wanted to preserve her beauty. The pleasure she
could bring him was unimaginable. He caressed the fine turf of hair on her
protruding mound. If you could weave a cloth of those hairs, it would be as fine
as silk and as smooth as satin. He leaned forward and the aroma of fresh
mussels and oysters filled his nostrils. His fingers felt the spongy lips and
parting them a little, he thought he saw the pearl in the oyster. He touched it
gently with the tip of his finger.

The sensation the finger caused in this spot, which only Shin had touched and
only a few times, took her breath away. Strange and disturbing streams of
sensation rushed through her body, making her knees weak and her tummy convulse.
What was he doing to her? Something warm and mighty opened up inside her and it
felt like a flow of warm water poured out through her. It made her scared and,
at the same time, it made her want more. The conflicting emotions made her even
more scared, but she managed to stay calm. She knew it was expected of her and
her plan was dependent on it. But strange forces were trying to tear her insides
apart, spurred on by Mr. Fou examination of her body.

'Come and sit on my lap, my child. You are getting tired standing there. You
will be more comfortable sitting down.'

Shin obeyed submissively to his request and sat on his lap with her side to him
and her legs tightly together. Mr. Fou put a hand on her back and one on her
thigh, gently pulling her legs apart. His hand caressed her inner thigh. It was
even smoother than the rest of her and Mr. Fou heart began to beat so fast.

Shin felt she was sitting on a bone of some kind, but she couldn't figure out
what it could be. Then she remembered what her grandmother had told her about
men. It had to be the sword that fitted her sheath. But Shin had no time to
think about it. Mr. Fou's fingers again touched her most private place and the
floodgates to the warm water opened again. He searched for the pearl in the
oyster, and found it. He heard a gasp escape the frighten girl, a gasp that told
him she was not unsusceptible to his caresses. The aroma of mussels and the
fresh sea grew ever stronger and so did Mr. Fou's urge to posses this innocent
treasure. But first, he wanted to make her acquainted with his spear.

'My child, there is something I want you to see. It is a special gift that a man
can give a woman. Kneel in front of me.'

Shin got up on weak legs and knelt in front of Mr. Fou. When he opened his
elegant, embroidered silk coat, she let out a cry.

'Mr. Fou. What is this?'

'Do not be scared my child. It is the tool man use to plant the seeds in the
woman's garden.'

Shin stared at the strange sight in front of her yes. The purple knob at the end
of the stick had an eye, a crying eye that looked at her. A single, milky tear
was forming in it.

'I want you to bless it, my child. Open your mouth and receive it.'

Shin looked terrified at it. Her grandmother had not told her it should go in
her mouth. But Mr. Fou had regained the strength of his youth and he took her
head in his hands and firmly led her mouth to the crying eye. Mother Nature had
been modest, when Mr. Fou was equipped, but in Shin's little mouth, it still
felt huge. She tried to contain her nausea as he pushed it deeper into her mouth
until he cold not get more into her. An uncanny snort came from Mr. Fou and
within a second, a salty fluid began to fill her mouth.

Shin's tummy convulsed. She tried not to spill any of the warm fluid that filled
her mouth. This was not the way grandmother had told her it was supposed to be.
Her plan was falling apart. And Mr. Fou's sword in her mouth and the fluid in
was pumping into her was so disgusting. Tears formed in her beautiful, almond-
shaped, brown eyes as more and more salty fluid filled her mouth. She could no
longer control her gagging and the fluids began to leak from her mouth.

Mr. Fou hadn't planned this to happen either. But when his sword was engulfed in
the warm, soft mouth, the feelings had overpowered him. The sight of her tiny
mouth stabbed by him was too much. He had to give his life-giving fluids to this
beautiful goddess. He felt the sap rising and he closed his eyes to fully enjoy
the blissful moment. As he poured himself out into her mouth, his strength
poured put of him too. Exhausted he released his grip on the poor girl's head
and looked down at her. He saw the tears and the panic in the girl's eyes while
she looked around for some place to empty her mouth.

'Here, my child. You can spit it out here. Oh, you were so clever.'

Shin took the bowl he handed her and spat out the fluid, trying as best she
could to hide her disgust. She spit it all out, but the taste still lingered in
her mouth. She badly wanted something to drink to get rid of the taste. She
wondered if she had misunderstood her grandmother. What if she became pregnant?
She looked up at Mr. Fou. He just sat there, leaning back with his eyes closed.
He looked like he was dead, but she could hear him breathing. She gathered her
dress around her and got up. Just as she was about to sneak out of the room, he
opened his eyes.

'Don't go, my child. Stay and have a cup of tea with me. Even though I look old,
I will regain my strength quickly. I still haven't had the pleasure of
cultivating your garden.'

Shin's plan had failed and she just wanted to get out of there, but she knew she
could not refuse Mr. Fou. And maybe her plan still had a chance.

'Thank you so much, kind Mr. Fou.'

He called the servant and a moment later, a tray was brought with the tea. Mr.
Fou dismissed the servant and prepared the tea himself. It was good to drink the
tea and get the taste of Mr. Fou's fluids out of her mouth.

Mr. Fou watched her closely while she drank her tea. The way her small hands
held the fine, porcelain cup was exquisite. He could already feel his strength
grow, just looking at the girl. When she leaned forward, she gave him a
wonderful view down the almost non-existent valley between her two small hills.
Mr. Fou could hardly control himself. But it would improper to interrupt the
tea.

The tea ceremony is quite a ritual in that part of the world. Even though Shin
could feel his eyes on her body, she stayed. She had calmed her self and she had
regained faith in her plan again. So much so that she didn't do anything, when
she felt her dress part and leave a clear view down the front. He had already
seen what she had been told to hide and now she just wanted to get it over with
as fast as possible. It was unthinkable that she take any kind of initiative,
but she still could get him in the right mood.

They finished the tea as it should be finished. The servant fetched the tray and
left them quietly. But he had also brought some pillows and soft blankets.
Without words, Mr. Fou motioned Shin to undress again. Seeing her fine, fragile
body again excited Mr. Fou. Nothing could compare to this beautiful girl. She
looked so fine and light that it almost looked like she was floating on the
pillows and blankets as she lay down, like a leaf on a calm pond.

Mr. Fou stood and removed his cloth. Shin could see he was ready to cultivate
her garden. A shiver went through her. She was scared and faith in her plan was
again draining rapidly. She told herself that it would work. It had to. He
walked over to her with a previous unseen speed and energy. Kneeling at her
feet, he spread her legs and let his hands brush up along the long, slim legs to
the soft and smooth thighs. Shin could feel the strange tingling in her most
personal spot again. It still disturbed her, but she was less self-conscious
about it now.

Between her legs, a beautiful flower was budding and ready to open and bloom.
His fingers gently spread the petals and admired the red and slightly puffy
inside of the flower. The pearl was hidden, but he cold feel it when he pressed
his finger lightly on top of the small hood that covered it. This wonderful
place of mystery and imagination had been deprived him for so long. He quickly
decided that this was only interest on overdue payments. He was going to enjoy
this wonderful creature for as long as possible. He moved closer and positioned
his planting stick close to her garden. Now, in a second, she would no longer be
an innocent little girl. Now!!

Shin turned her head away as she felt Mr. Fou began to lean over her. She felt
the tip of his planting stick press against her untouched flower and closed her
eyes. She felt her flower trying to spread its petals for the bee, coming to
visit. But it stopped there. Mr. Fou groaned and retracted. Shin still didn't
dare to breathe. Again, she felt him press against the tiny opening, but again
he retracted, groaning.

He felt a little sting of pain, when he tried to enter the young girl. Maybe she
was too small. She couldn't be. She would open up for him. He tried again, but
there was a new stinging pain. He pulled back and saw a little blood smeared on
the tip of his spear. Wrongly he assumed it was from her, that he had taken her
innocence. It spurred him on, making him try a third time, despite a growing
pain in his manhood. But a new sting of pain made him stop. He looked down again
and saw small droplet of blood form on the swollen tip. The blood was not hers,
it was his. The pain was growing. He looked frightened at Shin.

'What is wrong with you, girl?'

Shin opened her eyes. The first part of her plan had finally worked out as
planned. She had planted the twig with the coated needle where Mr. Fou wanted to
plant his planting stick. Now it was up to her to fulfil it.

'It don't know, Kind Mr. Fou. My grandmother once said, that no man would ever
be able to take from me what was not his to have, without paying a dear price. I
didn't know what she meant, but she is a very wise old lady. She knows many
things.'

'Oh God. She has cast a spell on you.'

'Oh. Do you think so?'

'Please. Go to her and ask her what the price is. Quickly child. I am in pain.'

Shin quickly dressed and left the house. She didn't go to her grandmother's
house. Instead, she went out in the woods and collected some herbs. She took her
time, knowing that it would make Mr. Fou more receptive to agree to the price
that she was going to ask.

The things that had happened at Mr. Fou's house still filled her head. The old
man's hands had caused the same feelings as her own hands had done, yet
different, both a more pleasant and very uncomfortable feeling. Shin stopped and
closed her eyes, trying to conjure up the image of Liau instead of Mr. Fou. Shin
shivered at the thought of Liau's young strong hands touching her the way Mr.
Fou had done. It had to be so much better than the old man? Even though she
would never get so close to him, she yearned for his touch.

When she opened her eyes again and tried to clear her mind, she suddenly knew
what price she was going to ask Mr. Fou to pay.

When she returned, The poor Mr. Fou was waiting anxiously for her, his face
clearly showing his pain and fear. He was, like most people at that time, a very
superstitious man.

'What did your honourable grandmother say. Please, tell me.'

'She said . . . I hardly dare tell you.'

'Please, tell me. I will do anything.'

'She said . . . you deserved your punishment. And that I should let you wither
away.'

'No, please. Have mercy on me. I will pay anything. Don't let me wither away.'

Shin pretended to be very embarrassed. She knew Mr. Fou would never confront her
grandmother, as she was well known for her healing powers and was regarded as a
very powerful woman; not by wealth, but by spirit. Inside, Shin gloated over her
victory.

'She said there was a cure.'

'Thank god. I will pray for your grandmother for the rest of my life.'

'That will not be enough. She said . . . well, if the cure was going to work
out, you had to show your remorse. She suggested you forgive my father his
debts.'

'I will, I will.' Mr. Fou wailed.

'And she said it would be suitable, if you ordered and paid for a fine set of
clothes from my father every six month. You could show your appreciation by
paying generously.'

'I will. Please tell me the cure.'

'One last thing. Since you have taken what was meant for my husband to take,
when I am married, you will have to pay my dowry.'

'Yes, yes. I will do anything. Just help me now.' Mr Fou wailed.

'She told me the cure. While I prepare the herbs, you will make a document in
which you cancel my fathers debt.'

'A document?'

Mr. Fou had no intention of really keeping his promises, as Shin already had
guessed. He was about to protest, but the pain in a certain part of his body
reminded him, that he was not immortal.

'On my honour, I will.'

'And remember the set of clothes and the dowry too.'

'I will write it. Just hurry.'

Shin went to the kitchen and prepared the herbs. When she came back, Mr. Fou had
written the document and signed it. He handed it to Shin.

'Now, please cure me.'

'There are two things. First, I have to put a compress on the afflicted area. I
hope it hasn't spread too much. Secondly, you have to drink this tea. It is
brewed from herbs from a secret recipe and you will have to get a cup every
month to keep the symptoms away.'

'Every month? How will I . . . ?'

'I will come to you and give it to you. I am sure you will know how to reward
me.'

'Oh god, this is going to ruin me.' Mr. Fou mumbled to himself.

Shin opened Mr. Fou's kimono and looked at the fallen warrior. The tip still
looked swollen. Cautiously, she took it in her tiny hands. At any other time, it
would have been pure bliss for Mr. Fou, but he could not control his masculine
reflexes and once again, the warrior rose painfully. Shin tried to be as gentle
as she could, but the light touches of her fingers when she applied the herbal
compress was only making matters worse for Mr. Fou. Shin was doing a thorough
job, making sure the afflicted area was covered. She smoothed the herbal
compress, running her fingers up and down over it. Mr Fou groaned in pain and
annoyance.

Finally, Shin was finished and removed the compress. She could see Mr. Fou was
in pain and since she was a kind and caring young girl, she felt sorry for him,
despite his ill intentions.

'It looks better already.' She said to cheer him up. 'Do you want me to kiss it
again?'

'No.' Mr Fou groaned.

He could hardly bear the pain that her fingers indirectly had caused him, much
less what he knew her lips and mouth would bring. Shin covered him and brought
him the herbal tea she had brewed. Then she respectfully asked Mr. Fou for
permission to leave and he granted it to her immediately.

The next day, Shin met with Liau in their special place behind the forge, in an
old shed. They could be alone and undisturbed there as the noise from the forge
drowned their voices. They met there almost every day to play and talk. Shin
felt a strange excitement as she sat in the dark shed with Liau. It was
different. She began to tell him about Mr. Fou, how her father had borrowed
money from him and how Mr. Fou had threatened to send her father to jail. It
made Liau very angry and he swore to help Shin. But Shin calmed him and told him
how she had made Mr. Fou give up all claims and even promise to pay her dowry.

Liau listen with growing amazement over Shin's ingenuity and the risk she had
exposed herself to. But the story also made him feel strangely excited. It was
like Shin looked even more beautiful than usual. He too had dreamed different
dreams about Shin lately. But her story lit a fire inside him.

As she talked, Liau thought he saw an increasing glow in Shin's beautiful,
brown, almond-shaped eyes. Shin noticed the way Liau was looking at her and she
looked down bashfully, realising what she was telling him about. He had not seen
her like Mr. Fou had seen her since she was five years of age. She felt the
blood rush to her cheeks. She didn't know why, but something inside her was
forcing her to tell him everything that had happened in Mr. Fou's house. When
she came to the part where Mr. Fou took her clothes off and touched her, Liau
stopped her.

'I haven't seen you for a long time and it is a little difficult for me to
imagine what you look like now. Can you show me what he did?'

Shin was a good girl, but what she had shown Mr. Fou, who had no right to see
it, she felt she could show Liau. She stood up in front of Liau in the dim
light. Her hands trembled as she tried to open the belt that kept her dress
together. Liau reached up to help her. As his hands touched hers, it was like
all Shin's strength left her.

Liau opened the belt and Shin continued to tell her story. Liau undressed the
young girl exactly as she described it to him. His strong hands gently touched
her skin and it felt just as she had imagined it would..... maybe even better.
It stirred the same good feelings as when she had touched herself, even though
his hands only brushed lightly over her sides and arms.

Shin described how Mr. Fou had touched her breasts. Liau held back his breath
and cupped his big hands around the tiny swellings on her chest like they were
made of glass. His touch was ever so gentle, but to Shin, it felt a thousand
times better than Mr. Fou.

Shin's tale spellbound both of them. They both blushed from the excitement and
their eyes were glassed when they met. Shin's voice trembled as she continued to
tell Liau about Mr. Fou. His hands were guided by her voice, guided to the parts
of her body that only a husband should touch, uncovering her tender skin.

When Shin reached the point in her story, where Mr. Fou asked her to bless his
planting stick, Shin knelt in front of Liau. Her small hands open Liau's clothes
and soon his planting stick stood out from his body, proud like a young bamboo
shoot. Liau put his hands gently on Shins head, but he didn't have to push Shin
head like Mr. Fou had done. Her mouth opened to receive him.

Since Liau had never felt anything but his own hand around his planting stick, the sensation was overwhelming for him. Her mouth was so warm and so soft. He had to move his hands to her shoulders to keep his balance. He could not help but express his joy by calling her name.

Shin was not unprepared at what happened next. But unlike Mr. Fou, who had just
leaked his seeds into her mouth, the young and vigorous boy sprayed his liquid
seeds into her mouth. Shin felt the fluid fill her little mouth, but it was
Liau's seeds and she accepted it like was it the finest wine.

Shin stood and they held each other tight in a silent embrace. No words were
needed. They lay down next to each other and Shin told Liau the rest of the
story.

'My dear Shin. Will you give the thing, which Mr. Fou tried to take, to me?'

'I will, when we are man and wife. But you will have to ask my father.'

'I will ask him.'

Liau looked at her tiny body.

'Shin, you took a great risk of hurting yourself with the needle. Don't you
think I should examine your beautiful flower to see if you have stung yourself
on the needle?'

'It is very kind of you. I do feel a tingling.'

Liau looked careful at the flower. He spread the petal and it did indeed look
swollen.

'My poor Shin. You are all red and swollen. What cure will help you. You have
not tried to take what is not yours to have, so how can you be cured?'

'Your love and kisses will cure me.'

'You already have all my love and I will give you all the kisses you will ever
need to be cured.'

Liau leaned forward and kissed the petal of her flower.

'You will have to kiss the little pearl. That will be the best cure.'

He kissed the pearl. It took Shin's breath away. Never had she imagined it would
feel so good to be kissed there. Her slim body twisted and bent like a bamboo in
a storm. It worried Liau, but Shin put her hands on his head and guided him back
to her garden.

'Cure me, please.' Shin gasped.

And he did. His lips and tongue polished the pearl until it was protruding
between the delicate, swollen folds. Shin felt the tingling she also felt when
she touched herself, but it was stronger. She felt she lost control of her body
and fell into a deep, warm, endless space, crying and screaming. Liau's head was
squeezed by her hands and thighs. Her body twisted and turned like she was in
terribly pain. Only the noise from the forge prevented anybody but Liau from
hearing her cries of joy.

Liau was bringing her to heights she had never experienced before. Her body
exploded and sent a wave of warmth through her. It become too much and she had
to push Liau away. Exhausted she lay with her eyes closed, like she was
sleeping.

'Are you all right?' Liau asked anxiously.

'Yes. I have never felt better.'

'It still looks like you are swollen. Are you sure you are cured?'

Shin thought about it for a moment. Liau was young and his planting stick was
stout as the finest bamboo. Shin could not resist. She was a good girl and she
knew she should not give herself to Liau before they were man and wife. But she
told herself that Mr. Fou had already made an attempt to steal what she could
only give once, so it would be safer to give it to Liau now.

'I think Mr. Fou wounded what he was trying to take. You will have to take it to
make the swelling and itching go away.'

'Are you sure?'

'Yes. Don't be afraid. I know it will hurt, but it is the best cure.'

Shin smiled with feverish, glazed eyes. Her smile told Liau that she meant what
she said. Shin opened herself for him as he knelt between her thighs. SHe felt a
slight fear as she felt the tip of Liau's planting stick touch her garden,
remembering Mr. Fou. She had to look up and assure herself that this was really
Liau. They looked each other deep in the eyes as Liau slowly and cautiously
pushed forward. They both felt the resistance. Liau hesitated, but Shin put her
hands around his neck and locked her legs around his back, spurring him like a
horse.

'Take me. Make me yours.'

Liau pushed harder. He felt himself sliding into Shin and saw the pain in her
face. He stopped and waited for the pain to pass.

Shin bit her lip. What she had dreamed of for so long, hurt more than she had
thought it would. She was grateful it was Liau, who was so gentle and good to
her. And after only a few seconds, she felt the pain go away and a lovely
feeling of being filled replaced the pain. Although grandmother had told her it
was a duty, she could feel it was a duty she was going to enjoy.

'Yes, my love. Plough my garden. Plough it deep and thoroughly. Make me yours.'

He filled her completely and drove into her hard and deep. The well in Shin's
garden was almost too narrow for him to get in, and it felt like she wanted to
bite his planting stick off. But he was better prepared after experiencing
Shin's wonderful mouth and he obeyed her wish and worked hard and deep in the
garden until Shin was crying from joy under him.

Her well felt even tighter and Liau felt a growing need to sow his seeds in
Shin's garden. He drove as deep and hard into her as he could and his seeds
filled Shin's garden. Shin cried out and embraced Liau as they sealed their
love.

Shin never told her father the full story about what had happened. She couldn't
tell him that she had listened to the conversations he had had with Mr. Fou,
which she was not supposed to hear. But her father was stunned, when Mr. Fou
cancelled the payments of the loan and instead ordered some fine clothing and
paid him generously. And when he learned that Mr. Fou would pay Shin's dowry, he
gave his blessing to the marriage between Shin and Liau.

Shin visited Mr. Fou every mouth and brewed an herbal tea for him. It kept the
symptoms away and Mr. Fou never again tried to take anything from Shin. On the
contrary, Shin's visit made the old man very happy, especially when she had to
treat the area, which was originally afflicted. She grew to like Mr. Fou as
well. It was, after all, because of him that she had been able to marry her
Liau.

So they all lived happily ever after.
