Transcendence
In wordless places I walk
beside you
and take my rest
a never ending embrace
the wonder of two being one
despite boundaries of physical
space
and time
tasting you in each breath
your laughter in the gusting wind
your whisper in the sound of snow
crunching crisply underfoot
seeing you in every blue sky
in countless things like boats
high spiked heels
and turquoise rings
sensing your presence calm
within me in the stillness of
snow-laden boughs and winters grey
in quiet moments that come my way
you surround me
dwell within me
never do I feel without you
love
precious one
my soulmate...
you live within my mind
the pulsing within my soul
a miraculous gift
beyond reason's control
heart quickening
smile breaking
senses waking
breathless, pounding
resounding
I cling to your presence
the world in all its vastness
holds the two of us apart
yet confounds not the force
which binds two to One
mind, soul and heart.
