My Lover
My lover
has hair that shimmers
like the moon
filtering through snow-laden boughs
of fragrant pine
My lover
has a smile that captivates
and breaks
as surely as morning sun
over crystal blue mountain lakes
My lover's arms
are strong as summer's heat
force pulsing through my veins
her spirit in my blood
her soul in my breath

I bring flowers
an offering
a benediction
for one who has
created this garden
flowering within my very soul
Soft, silken petals
gentle color
fragrant scent
an incense to soothe away the world
bodies touching
tenderly
to embrace the love
we bear for one another
Breathless
bouquet
your presence
hovers lovingly
around me while you sleep
the flowers
earth's monument
to celebrate
our love.

Fall softly
in upon me
surround me....
sweet evening
your breath soft
as you lay there
sleeping
peacefully in my bed-
Seems I've loved you
from the beginning of time
can't imagine living
without you
Gentle lover
my undercover
security
the tender days
the nights so free
to watch you
sleeping
face so open
innocent
longing to caress you
to run my hand
through your hair
and feel your soft warmth
yet not wanting to wake you
Fall softly
in upon me-
sweet evening....
spent with you.

Bear with me
bare with me
stay with me, please...
I've fallen in loved,
been brought to my knees.
Fair with me
fare with me
live with me, do...
I've gotten so spoiled
can't live without you.
Yes dear,
no deer
whatever you say is fine...
veggies and tofu
and Bordeaux wine.
Share with me
chere with me
our love so bright
it's taken my days
and gathered my nights.
