I know what you're thinking. He's already shown a spotlight on Wiseguy and Dryad, so how could a spotlight on artie be far behind? Well, the answer is that I'm always behind in praising excellent authors and their excellent stories! Who can keep up?

You could have found artie the same way I did - by following the links from Wiseguy's site. Or you could have found him because you're working your way through all of the authors of erotica alphabetically.

But if you haven't found artie, yet - well, why not? You don't depend on me to point out the best, do you? I didn't think so!

For all that some of artie's work is science fiction, he puts me in mind of those Old World craftsmen. The ones that carefully and lovingly hand-tool every mortice, every bevel, every curve; that polish to a high gloss; that sell no wine before... <cough> Well, you know what I mean. Those infuriating OCD types that publish on their schedule instead of when you want the next chapter! (artie has a reputation for unfinished stories...)

Let me give you an example. Hmmm...

The Bicycle Stories. Yeah, that's a good one. Shifting Gears and Back in the Saddle. Two absolutely fantastic stories that go just so far... and stop. I know you're supposed to leave them wanting more, but.... Yes, they're complete stories, but they absolutely beg for sequels! I love the characters and the situations. But I want MORE!

Then there are the Yoga stories, Like Yoga Is Life and Y2. Again, marvelous stories. And granted, Y2 is on his Workbench Page which contains nothing BUT unfinished works in progress. But I want MORE!

That's the trouble with ALL of artie's site. Many, many wonderful stories... But I want MORE!
