Sometimes it's just easier to point at a collection. This is one of
those times. The Apuleius
Collection finds its home on ASSTR.
Speaking of collections, many of the authors listed either publish their stories in or link from Stories Online (including me). Lazeez makes this site available in much the same way as ASSTR. I don't love Stories Online better than ASSTR, I love it in a different way. :þ~
The Virago Blue Challenge was organized between February and
March, 2002. It was inspired by Baen's "Chicks in Chainmail" series
of anthologies, and was named after ASSD's resident "chick in
chainmail," Virago Blue.
The Challenge's rules were quite simple, anyone who wished to
enter just had to write a sex story with a woman or girl wearing some
kind of armor in it.
In 1999, Shon Richards (then known as Lord Shon) issued a
challenge:
Hmm, is it possible to do a mud-wrestling sex story that was
somewhat serious? Would a mud-wrestling story be any good without
the visuals? If someone did a mud-wrestling story, could they post
it without feeling shame?
