So there I was, a Clueless Newbie (shaddup! we're not talking about my current status!) lurking and starting to post on ASSD. I'm reading posts and starting to get a feel for the personalities that post there. Heck, I'm getting responses to posts - I start to feel at home.

One of the posters I interact with is Katie, and our interactions are delightful. I commit a gaffe, and she patiently explains the history behind another poster's taking offense. We exchange a number of posts about sigs (signatures) which had me rolling on the deck.

And then she posts a scathing response to someone else seemingly ripping their testicles off. Color me confused.

I make a few discreet discrete inquiries. And someone finally explains. They whisper, "She's blonde."
