I've always been a fan of Isaac Asimov's Robot stories. Naked Sun and Caves of Steel were two of my favorites, and I didn't mind Star Trek: The Next Generation ripping off the Humaniform Positronic "Android" for Data. (That's R. Data Soong in Asimovian terms.)

Now here come DB Story and others (follow his links) with Fembots. Like Data, the female robots are fully functional and versed in multiple techniques.

And danged if there aren't a few romances...
