He looked and saw, avoided, looked back and away, tried to avoid, looked and saw again, and enough was enough. "For God's sake, Anthea," he said irritably.

"What's the matter?" she asked, without looking up from the newspaper she was reading. She'd had her morning shower and, dressed in a white bathrobe, was drinking coffee at the kitchen table.

"A bit of decorum would be appreciated," he said stiffly.

"It's unintentional," she said casually, still reading.

"It makes it worse that you know about it."

"I told you, Dad, it's not intentional. I'm surprised you're offended."

"I'm not offended."

"Embarrassed, then. If you sat in another chair you wouldn't catch the view." She still had not looked up from the paper, let alone adjust the robe to cover the breast mostly visible to him.

He sighed loudly. It was his kitchen, damn it. She was just visiting. Noisily, and with profound irritation, he placed himself in a chair at the other end of the table. Now she looked up at him, smiling breezily. "Better?" she asked.

She rose and went to the counter to pour herself another cup. She returned to read the paper, and the robe gaped open to show her other breast.

"Now you are being intentional," he said.

"Looks like you'll have to move again."

"Anthea, why do you taunt me like this?"

"Because I'm twenty-seven. And because it's bad, of course. Anything bad is usually fun."
