To me, erotica is more enjoyable if it's within the realm of possibility. There is a strong element of fantasy in my writing, but I find it more satisfying when the fantasy stays plausible. So I don't write about impossibly beautiful women and incredibly endowed men. Most of the women I write about are women I've known, though often not in the carnal sense. My male characters are often me, or an ideal me.
There are two reasons I write erotica. One is for my own enjoyment, but that mostly ends when a story is finished. The other reason is for the enjoyment of others. So if you enjoy my work, please let me know using the form below.
This was the first erotic story I wrote ... one I had been writing in my head for a long time. I started writing after my company started issuing laptops to those of us who worked on the road. Writing a stimulating story was a lot more fun than another evening of flipping channels in my hotel room. It took me several months to finish, writing no more than 15-30 minutes at a time.
I had a job that required me to sit down at my computer at 6 each morning. Unfortunately there was little to do until 9 a.m., so I began writing "Portland" to occupy my time. I wrote it in about six months, which is pretty fast considering the 15 chapters.
