A note about my poetic style:

If I have one, I'm sure it's more Dr. Seuss than Sylvia Plath.

I find that it's a lot harder to write halfway-decent poetry than it is for me to write halfway-decent prose. That means if I ever manage to finish a poem, I'm usually pretty spent because it has taken a lot more concentration and effort than the stories.

Hopefully, one or two of these will connect with you. That's the way it is with poetry. It hits you or it misses.
