First she was a
Junior Muse(Chocolate Edition) and then she graduated to
Webmistress Muse(Chocolate Edition). Being a fully-fledged muse means she has to be "fully-fledged" so here they are.
(The wings I mean, look up 'fledged', you'll see what I'm getting at.) I think
that she deserves another promotion but the council has yet to ratify it; so
provisionally she is: Senior Quality Muse (Original Chocolate Edition) (As her
website has been designated both 'Quality' and 'Original')

Writers' Lounge A place for authors and readers of erotica to relax and
act silly. She tried this once before, but this time she's got some behind
the scenes help from a few friends. We do a lot of harmless flirting and once
in a while, we talk about the stories we write. Feel free to drop in, the
madhouse can always use another member.
Friday polled the group for a Story Fest idea. Somehow I managed to think
of a story that combined all the apparent aspects of one of the losing
propositions. And I did it without realising I'd done it. It was sad to
boot. So here's something to lighten the atmosphere.
Real life had conspired to seperate me from my Muse. Life hasn't been the
best for her. Then she was back, not quite herself, but getting there.
This is a little celebration.
In mid-March 2004 I had a company meeting in the Baltimore area. Since
this is only a short (3 hours' drive!) trip from Friday's home she
proposed that we meet. Excitement and trepidation in equal measure led to
a small fantasy. (BTW the reality of Friday is so much better than any
fantasy of mine.)
Sometimes it's easy to forget that there are certain phrases in English
that mean something entirely different in American. This can lead to
certain, ah, misunderstandings. Sometimes working things out can be fun
though.
Alienor posted a confection
involving a lot of chocolate and a velvety penis. Unfortunately her muse
saw fit to desert her before she was finished. Friday expressed a certain
level of frustration. Enter the ever helpful Author.
Rod and I were discussing the chronicling of Friday's elevation from
WMM(CE) to SQM(OCE). It was a case of: When the Cat's Away the Mice Will
Play and Friday expressed a desire for 'a good servicing' on her return.
Obviously an invitation like this is too good to be true so...
I couldn't let today (February, 5th) pass unremarked so:

It's Quiz Time in FKWLounge
Time to sharpen the wits and then 'bribe' the teacher. Brains are no
substitute for good old-fashioned corruption! (of the nicest sort - of
course!)
Friday has started a LiveJournalhere. One day
she wrote that her house had reached 'Critical Mass' and she had had to
tidy up. obviously I couldn't let that rest.
Friday was late getting her Christmas Story Fest. entry in, so she tried
to snow us with
How I Wrote My Christmas Story. I suggested that she deserved a spanking
to 'encourage' her to write the proper story. She protested that a spanking
was not the way to get her motivated. I assumed that she preferred the Carrot
to the Stick. So when she finally entered the totally wonderful
Christmas At
The Beach. I decide that she should have her reward. Aren't I a truly
generous soul? Don't answer that, until you've read the story!
I'll let Friday tell the
full tale.
Suffice it to say Mr. Downey's muse and mine went toe to toe - OK I exaggerate.
However never miss an opportunity to hug one's Muse is a motto of mine.
A throwaway remark whilst talking to my Muse led me to reinterpret this
particular fairytale. Little did I know the trouble that this would lead
to. Please read this before you read 'Fridayella - The Aftermath'.
The group FKWLounge reached
an auspicious number of members, 69. I offered Friday the chance to mark the
occasion, but she declined saying that it was my job. I think I went a teensy
weensy bit too far!
Friday has written a wonderful story
Friends and
Lovers. [It's up for a Silver Clitorides (November 2003) go and vote
for it now.] One day she teased us with a scene from the story involving honey
this my, belated, response!
At some point a certain her Museness saw fit to make a suggestion for a
new story. Never let it be said that this author will ignore a Muse! OK
she did say it was a bad idea. I don't know, what do you think?
A certain chocolate covered Muse, has raised the complaint that she never
got to have any fun with the Dragon. Now it doesn't do to have a Muse
upset with you so I wrote this; yet again inspired by
The Care and Feeding of Dragons. You must admit I get value for money
from my Muse!
Just in case the Sox (of scarlet hue) don't win the ALCS Pennant, I've
suggested a Consolation Prize for Frank. in line with my policy of never
shirking a duty I've obviously volunteered Ms. Friday for the job. Just
call me "Mr. Generosity"!
Frank or Someone asked who would care for the authors that had suffered
the effects of the Dragon. Never being one to shirk a responsibility I
immediately volunteered ... someone else! Also inspired by
The Care and Feeding of Dragons.
