The Evening News
I was standing in the living room corner with my hands on my head and bare below the waist down waiting for my spouse to need me at six o'clock. For every weeknight my spouse requires me to be ready and waiting like this so that they can watch the news.
I wait to hear my spouse sit down, in the middle of the couch as always, and pick up the remote from where I had placed it for easy access and turn on the local channel. This is my cue to go over — without complaint — and drape myself over my spouse's lap before the first bars of the evening news began to play. If I am in time, my spouse will rub my offered bottom, and gently slap it until the first news item would begin. If not then they will start off with punishment spanks.
Once the news proper starts the spanks I get reflects my spouse's feeling on the news item. A story the annoys or frustrates my spouse is bad news for my derrière, for it will bring a rain of hard spanks. If I make too much noise or otherwise make it hard for my spouse to follow the program, then that heavy rain will continue into the banter or the commercials. Happier news will still bring down spanks, but lighter, rhythmic ones that get my motor going. If I have pleased my spouse then the commercials will bring their full attention to fine tuning that motor.
Unlike other people, I normally love it when a human story makes the news. As my spouse has almost no interest in them. So my warmed bottom gets the benefit of my spouse's attentions and my motor really gets stroked along. Though sometimes the anchor will tease me and take my spouse's attention away from by treating the story in a way that annoys my spouse. So I'm much inclined to share the bad news I get in a heated letter to the news anchor about being more respectful. Though I tend to use my spouse's reasons; not my own. I don't think they would understand my real annoyance.
Weather is the best part, for it takes only the most foulest of weather to bring the bad news spanks back, or such weather that interferes with some planned event. So by the end of the segment my engine is really revving along.
This is good for me because my spouse comes from a sports mad family. And in a good season for the family's teams this can send me into bliss, but a bad game can really sting my spouse, which stings me in the butt. A bad season can be a real pain in the butt for me too. However even that can work if my motor is sufficiently revved up.
So I'm sorry to have to disagree with those news hounds out there, but a light news day, a good day indeed, at least for me.
